ABSTRACT Fusarium wilt caused by Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. nicotianae (Johnson) W. C. Snyder and H. N. Hansen. is the most destructive disease of tobacco. The present study was carried out in vitro conditions to assess the possible use of biocontrol agents in field conditions. Trichoderma viride, Trichoderma harzianum, Bacillus subtilis and Pseudomonas fluorescens were evaluated for their antagonistic activity against F. oxysporum f. sp. nicotianae under in vitro conditions. Abstract:
Tissue type plasminogen activator (t-PA) is an effective thrombolytic agent in experimental animals. The duration of the thrombolytic effect of infused t-PA is unknown. We compared the duration of the thrombolytic effect of t-PA with streptokinase by measuring the lysis of 125I-fibrin-labeled thrombi in rabbit jugular veins at different times after a bolus injection of the fibrinolytic agents. The pharmacodynamics of both thrombolytic agents were determined in rabbits using a sensitive ex vivo fibrinolytic assay. Streptokinase and t-PA were given as a bolus dose of 15,000 U/kg. Abstract Objective Recent investigations have found specific relationships between subscales of the Social Responsiveness Scale (SRS) and the Behavior Rating Inventory of Executive Functioning (BRIEF) among individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Aim: Examine whether Social-Executive relationships differ among individuals with ASD versus comorbid autism and attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ASD + ADHD). Method Parent ratings on the SRS and BRIEF were obtained from the ABIDE-II database. Final sample: 25 ASD, 37 ASD + ADHD (5–12 years). T-tests examined group differences in BRI

In recent years, the fractional partial differential equation of the Boussinesq type has attracted much attention from researchers due to its practical importance. In this paper, we study a non-local problem for the Boussinesq type equation Dtαu(t)+A Dtαu(t)+ν2Au(t) =0, 0<t<T, 1<α<3∕2, where Dtα is the Caputo fractional derivative, and A is an abstract operator. In the classical case, i.e., when α = 2, this problem has been studied previously, and an interesting effect has been discovered: the existence and uniqueness of a solution depend significantly on the length of the time int

Abstract The diversity of molecular states and cellular plasticity of immune cells within the glioblastoma (GBM) environment remain poorly investigated. Here, we conduct deep transcriptional profiling of lymphoid and myeloid cell populations by scRNA-sequencing, map potential cellular interactions and cytokine responses that lead to the dysfunctional and exhausted phenotype of T cells. We identified Interleukin 10 (IL-10) response during T cell activation, which lead to a dysfunctional state of T cells. Abstract Systemic immunosuppression following neurological insults including stroke, traumatic brain injury, and glioblastoma (GBM) causes mortality and leads to failure of immune-modulating therapies. Exact immunological nature and the underlying mechanisms of this immunosuppression are unknown. Our goal was to define effects of neurological insults given exclusively to the brain on the thymus. The thymus is the primary immune organ responsible for T-cell development and maintenance both in children and in adults. We evaluated the brain-thymus communication using the following neurological in
