Abstract:
Judaism, Christianity, Jainism, Buddhism, Saivism, Vaishnavism, Sikhism, Islam, etc., are embraced by the majority of the people at times of origin in the world. In general, the purpose of religion is to moralize people. When the people in Arabia suffered from the worship of many Gods, The Prophet Muhammad created the noble idea of 'God is one' and upheld that principle and established the principles of commonality that the people of the world should follow. That's why 'Praise Muhammad who appeared in the Arab country and made the tradition of one Lord alive and praise the mercy given by the common brotherhood and flawless religion', said the Tamil Poet Thiru. V. Kalyana Sundaranar praising the Prophet. Such Islam began to spread in Tamil Nadu during the Middle Ages. Islamic scholars have written a wide variety of literary works in Tamil which are full of religious facts. Some have also written stories. This story has been written keeping in mind the nature of Tamil Nadu. Islamic narratives form the theme of the story without differing from the religious concepts at all. It is also written in a simple way for the common people to understand. The Author of Islamic Tamil does not fail to present the religious views in the right way without any variation.

Abstract:
AbstractNetworks of travel and trade have often been viewed as central to understanding interactions among Muslims across South and Southeast Asia. In this paper I suggest that we consider language and literature as an additional type of network, one that provided a powerful site of contact and exchange facilitated by, and drawing on, citation. I draw on textual sources written in Javanese, Malay, and Tamil between the sixteenth and early twentieth centuries to argue that among Muslim communities in South and Southeast Asia, practices of reading, learning, translating, adapting, and transmitting contributed to the shaping of a cosmopolitan sphere that was both closely connected with the broader, universal Muslim community and rooted in local identities. I consider a series of ‘citation sites’ in an attempt to explore one among many modes of inter-Asian connections, highlighting how citations, simple or brief as they may often seem, are sites of shared memories, history, and narrative traditions and, in the case of Islamic literature, also sites of a common bond to a cosmopolitan and sanctified Arabic.

Abstract:
The purpose of this research is to analyze the condition of BMT, is an Islamic microfinance institution in Indonesia, based on a literature review using SWOT analysis. Based on the SWOT analysis BMT’s strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats will be mapped through four types of strategies, namely aggressive, competitive, conservative and defensive strategies. The results indicate that based on the analysis of aggressive strategies, BMT is a community-based agency that has an opportunity to capture the market; BMT can use the ZISWAF fund in cooperation with charity institutions. Based on the analysis of competitive strategies, BMT competition with conventional micro institutions can be solved by Islamic economic socialization about the prohibition of usury; competition with Islamic banks that have a microfinance program can be solved with the distribution of business; BMT sustainability issues can be overcome by strengthening the regulation, supervision, infrastructure, human resources, and capital. From the conservative strategies, BMT has limitations in terms of capital, human resources, and marketing strategies. This problem can be overcome through their linkage with Islamic Banks and companies, using CSR and low-cost funds from Islamic Banks. Other opportunities are the transfer of knowledge about finance, managerial expertise, as well as the right marketing strategy. In addition, a lack of oversight in BMT can be solved by maximizing the role of associations and agents of BMT. Meanwhile, from the defensive strategies, fundamental reform of government is required to develop BMT’s rules, oversight, feasibility measurement and clear level of health.

Abstract:
Purpose: This study aims to investigate the dimension of Work Life Balance with Islamic perspective (WLBIP) approach in the employee of Baitul Maal Wa Tamwil or Islamic Financing Savings and Loan Cooperatives in Special Region of Yogyakarta (DIY) Province, Indonesia. Methodology: This study is conducted to all managers and employees of Baitul Maal Wa Tamwil in DIY Province. The study is carried out to 28 Baitul Maal Wa Tamwil with the target sample of 200 respondents. The questionnaire returned is from 150 respondents. Findings: WLBIP can be measured with 3 indicators: (1) time balance in Islamic perspective (TBIP); (2) involvement balance in Islamic perspective (IBIP); and (3) satisfaction balance in Islamic perspective (SBIP). Significance: The concept and research regarding WLB with Islamic approach are still not found yet. The results of the study with non-Islamic approach are still inconsistent. This study introduces the concept of WLBIP with 3 dimensions: (1) time balance in Islamic perspective (TBIP); (2) involvement balance in Islamic perspective (IBIP); and (3) satisfaction balance in Islamic perspective (SBIP). This three dimensions use WLB concept approach by considering the balance between the worldlife and the afterlife aspects. Limitations/Implications: The limitations of this study are that the author only examined the employee of financial service company with quantitative approach. Therefore, future studies need to use qualitative approach with wider sample (not only Muslim respondents). The antecedents and consequences of WLBIP also needs to be analyzed further. The theoretical implication is that this study contributes to the enrichment of WLB theory, especially from Islamic perspective, which is called WLBIP. Thus, it can contribute to the literature of Islamic Management and Islamic Organizational Behavior.

Abstract:
This paper aims to analyze the potential of the Baitul Maal wat Tamwil (BMT) strategy to empower the lower-middle-class people and analyze the recommended strategy for making economic empowerment through more effective and efficient Islamic microfinance. This research uses the in-depth interview method and SWOT analysis as further analysis. The results indicated that BMT has great potential, especially in human resources development and a clear market share to empower the lower classes of society. However, it is necessary to have an appropriate economic empowerment model following the conditions of the lower classes of society and the need for government roles to support the existence of an Islamic microfinance institution in the form of Baitul Maal wat Tamwiil (BMT). Several economic empowerment strategies have been implemented by Baitul Maal wat Tamwil (BMT). This study adds the existing literature related to Islamic microfinance's role to have the suitable model that efficiently and effectively empowers the poor Indonesian society, especially those who live in Yogyakarta.
