Abstract:
Pepper is one of the local commodities developed in Indonesia and has become an export commodity. Improving the productivity of pepper can be done through sustainable land management based on the characteristics of soils and their potential. Therefore, land suitability evaluation is needed to maximize land potential and minimize inhibiting factors for pepper plant growth. This study evaluated the characteristics, potential, and distribution of suitable land for pepper plant development in Tanggamus Regency, Lampung Province, Indonesia. Land suitability was evaluated by matching land characteristics with land suitability criteria for pepper plants. This criterion consists of four classes, namely highly suitable (S1), moderately suitable (S2), marginally suitable (S3), and not suitable (N). The soil's climate and physical and chemical properties were the land characteristics data used. Potential land availability was arranged based on land suitability classes by considering existing land use and forest area status. Soil types in Tanggamus Regency are Inceptisols, Entisols, Alfisols, Andisols, Oxisols, and Ultisols, with the most extensive distribution of soil types being Oxisol (Typic Hapludox). The distribution of relief in Tanggamus Regency is dominated by mountainous areas with very steep slopes (slope >40%). Land suitability classes are moderately suitable (S2), marginally suitable (S3), and not suitable (N) with limiting factors, namely drainage, texture, soil pH, and erosion hazard/slope. Improvement can be made by planting according to contours, planting cover crops, applying lime and organic matter, and ensuring balanced fertilization. The development of pepper plants in Tanggamus Regency can be achieved through diversification and extensification, with a total area of potential land that can be developed of 73,995 ha.

The presence of volcanic rocks in Sumatra is due to the subduction of the Indian-Australian Ocean Plate under the West Sumatra Plate since the Eocene. Tanggamus Regency situated at the southern edge of Lampung with the occurrence of several Tertiary and Quaternary volcanic rock units. The aim of this study is to compare the geochemical composition of Tertiary volcanic rocks from the Hulusimpang Formation and Quaternary volcanic rocks from Mount Tanggamus in the Tanggamus Regency. XRF and ICP-MS devices were used to determine the compositions of major oxides, trace elements, and rare earth elements in this study. Based on geochemical characters, samples from the Hulusimpang Formation are calc-alkaline volcanic rocks, metaluminous to peraluminous, and in the basaltic trachyandesite to rhyolite ranges. Quaternary samples are in a narrower range of silica content and tend to be metaluminous. This study proves that the two rock groups originate from the same magma but with crustal contamination during differentiation. The two volcanic should experience through different formation processes based on the slope of the heavy-REE and the type of Eu anomaly.

Most of Tanggamus regency is a disaster-prone area, such as floods, landslides, earthquakes, and so on. To determine the area that is really potentially catastrophic is something complicated and the determination process there are many errors, because the determination process is based on subjectivity. In this case it is most likely that the area that is really potential for disaster does not enter into the territory prioritized by the government to be given socialization of insights about disasters or reduce the risk of disasters. This paper discusses the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method that can be used in determining disaster-prone areas in Tanggamus Regency. The area to be designated as a disaster-prone area has criteria that have been set. Criteria needed include: Flood disaster data, landslide disaster data, earthquake disaster data, tsunami disaster data, and fire disaster data. The result of this system is a list of disaster-prone areas that comply with the criteria specified as areas of special attention from local governments.

Abstract:
Abstract As one of the black pepper production centers in Indonesia, Lampung pepper productivity is quite low compared to other central areas. Lampung produces around 500 kg/ha, quite far from the national average production which is around 796 kg/ha, or even the productivity of other regions such as Bangka-Belitung which has reached 1.2 tons/ha. One of the main problems that cause this is a fairly high pest attack. For this reason, a study was conducted on the intensity of the main pest attack on pepper plants in one of the pepper-producing areas in Lampung, namely Tanggamus Regency. The study was conducted in April-May 2021 by taking 100 plant spots (samples) randomly in the location. The intensity of pest attack is calculated by a scoring system. The results showed that there were three main pests that attacked pepper plants in Tanggamus Regency - Lampung Province, namely the pepper stem borer (Lophobaris piperis) with the intensity of around 38%; Thrips sp. with intensity of about 23% and fruit suckers (Dasynus piperis) with intensity of about 9%.

Abstract:
Abstract Manganese ore deposits are one of the most widely used metal alloys in everyday life. Generally, manganese ore deposits are present as residual deposits along with iron ore at certain pH and Eh conditions. These deposits can come from the chemical weathering of crystalline schist, limestone, and dolomite rocks or earlier manganese deposits. In Lampung, the presence of manganese ore can be found in Sukaagung Village, Tanggamus Regency, but little research has been done to determine the distribution and potential of manganese ore in this area. Therefore, this study aims to determine manganese ore distribution and enrichment process in the study area using field data and petrography. In general, manganese ore deposits in Sukaagung Village are present as veins that fill fractures and nodules. Manganese ore deposits that were present as fracture fillers were found intersecting marble, quartzite, and mica schist of the Complex of Gunungkasih Tak Terpisahkan, tuffaceous siltstone from Menanga Formation, and the lapilli tuff and andesite of the Hulusimpang Formation. These deposits are present in manganese as botryoidal and dendritic forms in rock fractures. Meanwhile, manganese ore deposits in the form of nodules are present in submarine volcanic sedimentary rocks in the Menanga Formation. The presence of manganese ore deposits in the study area is thought to be the result of the leaching of manganese elements from the banded iron formation which is associated with the Permian-Cretaceous magmatism, hydrothermal submarine, and rift basin. The acidic fluid dissolves other elements and leaves manganese ore as an economical mineral. Manganese ore is then carried by subsurface fluids, filling fractures in Paleozoic-Tertiary rocks. Even though the distribution of manganese ore in Sukaagung Village is quite wide, further research is needed to determine the potential and reserves of manganese ore in the study area.

Therefore, reformulation efforts are needed by providing added value to snake fruit commodities and marketing them with digital systems so that the selling price of snake fruit is better amid uncertain conditions due to the Covid-19 pandemic. This activity was carried out in Wonoharjo Village, Tanggamus Regency, in July-October 2021, with a fairly high level of enthusiasm during the activity. Some of the results that have been obtained from this community service activity are: 1) The people of Wonoharjo Village can process the potential of snake fruit commodities into high-value products; 2) The community can carry out digital marketing to increase turnover significantly; 3) Snake fruit products can survive in conditions so that the income of the people of Wonoharjo Village can increase. In addition, the empowerment program implemented can increase community income turnover with the added value of salak fruit as well as educate the community regarding business processes that are more profitable with the establishment of BUMDes.

Abstract:
Purpose: This study aims to identify the contribution of local taxes to regional revenues in Tanggamus Regency and predict the pattern of realization of regional tax revenues in the coming period. Research methodology: This research is a quantitative study with a time series trend analysis according to the type of regional tax and an overview of the target and its realization. The sample used in this study was data from seven types of regional taxes obtained from the Regional Financial Management Agency of Tanggamus Regency. The data analysis process uses the least squares method, often used to forecast, and the application uses Minitab software with fitted line plots and descriptive statistics features. Results: This study's results showed that the seven tax subjects seemed to go through changes and tended to grow in the future. Limitations: This research is limited to the specific scope of taxes selected and does not cover all other types of taxes and levies. Contributions: This study's ability to predict the future helps make plans for regional tax revenue, especially when it comes to planning for policies that might change in the near future. Novelty: This research is new because it has a new update on how to use predictive methods with Minitab and an analysis of how local taxes have changed over time.

Abstract:
Mapping socio-economic conditions in rural areas is used to see community needs and potential resources in order to find out which sectors need to be implemented and improved. This study aims to analyze the participatory mapping of socio-economic conditions in the village of Singosari, Tanggamus. This research uses a quantitative-descriptive method with a case study approach supported by qualitative data. The population in this study amounted to 464 heads of households and the sample was 30 households. In this study, the respondents and informants were farmer households and village government officials. Data collection was carried out through primary data through surveys, interviews, participatory observation, documentation, and literature studies on data related to participatory socio-economic mapping in rural areas. Data analysis used the interactive model Miles, Huberman and Saldana, and assisted with Microsoft Excel for processing survey data. The findings in this study are that the Singosari village has a variety of resources, both socio-economic and ecological. Even though the village has limitations in terms of education and health facilities, on the other hand, it has the potential for dryland farming which can be developed and become the focus of agricultural development program interventions. Recommendations/implications for the findings are that the results of the socio-economic mapping contain socio-economic data of villagers so that they can be used as a valid reference for making policies/programs. Socio-economic data is presented according to existing categories, arranged systematically, with explanations of the relationships between these categories, and can be read.

Abstract:
Granitoid intrusion of several provinces on Sumatra is correlated with Southeast Asia tectonics that have occurred since the Permian. Granites from several volcanic arc provinces are located along the western part of Sumatra Island and are found near Bukit Barisan. This study describes the geochemical character of granitoid from the Tanggamus region and its surroundings near the Bukit Barisan cluster. After megascopic description in the field, major oxides, trace elements, and rare earth elements in rock samples were measured using X-ray fluorescence and inductively coupled plasma-mass spectrometry devices. The samples were intermediate to acidic intrusive rocks with SiO2 ranging between 61.35% and 75.29%. The rocks can be described as diorite to granodiorite and were formed as a result of subduction processes. The granitic rock samples showed I-type features of A/CNK value <1.1, volcanic arc granite affinity, K2O/Na2O ratio, and magnesian properties. The total rare earth content was medium with an average of 43.97 ppm. The similarity of the rare earth normalized diagram against the chondrite value indicates that the samples come from an identical origin.

Abstract:
This article discusses the regulation of single-organ nightlife in Tanggamus Regency through the implementation of Regional Regulation Number 05 of 2017 concerning Public Entertainment Regulation. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of these regulations in overcoming social and legal problems arising from nightlife. Single-organ nightlife in Tanggamus often causes disturbances of public order, disturbing noise, and even criminal acts such as drug abuse and fights. To overcome this problem, the Tanggamus Regency Government issued a Regional Regulation that aims to order and regulate entertainment activities tonight. The research method used is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The data was collected through in-depth interviews with various related parties, including nightlife business actors, law enforcement officials, and the surrounding community. In addition, document analysis was carried out to understand the content and context of Regional Regulation Number 05 of 2017. The results of the study show that even though the regulation has been implemented, the level of legal awareness among the public and nightlife business actors is still low. Many business actors have not complied with existing regulations, such as operating beyond the predetermined time limit, noise levels that exceed the threshold, and the absence of supervision of illegal activities that occur in their premises. This low legal awareness is caused by several factors, including the lack of socialization and education about the importance of complying with this regulation. Socialization carried out by local governments often does not reach all levels of society and nightlife business actors, so information about this regulation is not spread evenly. In addition, law enforcement that is not strict is also a factor causing low compliance with regulations. Law enforcement officials often compromise on violations that occur, both due to pressure from certain parties and due to a lack of resources to carry out effective law enforcement. Additional measures are needed to increase the effectiveness of law enforcement against these regulations. These measures include increasing socialization and legal education, as well as stricter and more consistent law enforcement. In addition, there is a need for periodic evaluations of the effectiveness of these regulations and adjustments to law enforcement strategies in accordance with conditions and needs in the field. Thus, it is hoped that this regulation can be more effective in regulating single-organ nightlife in Tanggamus Regency and improving order and environmental security.
