Abstract:
This study investigated the effects of hemisphericity and field dependence on programming skills. Twenty-five undergraduate university students from two introductory Logo programming courses completed the study. Results suggested that hemisphericity is related to the complexity of program structure (tree depth). Supplementary analyses indicated a negative correlation between previous programming experience and the use of recursion. Implications for education and suggestions for further research are discussed, and specific implications regarding the teaching of Logo are given.

Joint stiffness defines the dynamic relationship between the position of the joint and the torque acting about it; hence it is important in the control of movements and posture. During some tasks, visual, vestibular and somatosensory mechanisms may also contribute to the estimated joint stiffness. This thesis explores how peop

Abstract:
Since all Antipsychotics have the feature to block D2 receptor and it is known that D2 receptor is implicated in mediating a great range of neuronal functions, it is extremely important to understand all the physiological aspects of these antipsychotics, specifically their effects on learning and memory functions. Therefore we planned to study the implication of D2 receptor in Hippocampal dependent memory tasks such as recognition, spatial and emotional memory by using two different methods of D2 receptor manipulation; a genetic model (D2 knock-out mice) and a pharmacological model (using sulp
