Abstract:
The aim of this thesis is to explore differences between consumer expectations of web site functionality in the context of online banking in terms of whether the task under consideration is information seeking or account access and whether the expectation is predictive or normative. The Internet has emerged as a new and distinct information source. Statistics show that the Internet is used extensively by companies for information provision and in general by consumers for information acquisition. The context of this study is the financial services sector where online service provision is increa

Today people spend a lot of time trying to complete software-related assignments. Poorly designed software can waste both time and resources needed to complete a task. It is therefore important to have efficient ways to complete these tasks. The Swedish Defence Research Agency, also known as FOI has developed software to calculate whether simulated units in the terrain have radio contact or not. In the current approach the employees manu-ally writes scenario files which contains information about the contact. However, these sce-nario files quickly become very large and difficult to work with.

Abstract:
Many software systems fail as a direct consequence of errors in requirements analysis. Establishing formal metrics early in the design process, using attributes like critical parameters, enables designers to properly assess software success. While critical parameters alone do not have the potential to drive design, establishing requirements tied to critical parameters helps designers capture design objectives. For the design of interactive systems, the use of scenario-based approaches offers natural user centricity and facilitates knowledge reuse through the generation of claims. Unfortunately

Research on interaction within these various fields has revealed input methods that perform well for a particular task. Core propositions of the Motivational Theory of Coping (Skinner & Wellborn, 1994) rest on the expectation that human behaviour is motivated by strivings to fulfil the three basic psychological needs of relatedness, competence and autonomy. Events are stressful when they threaten or challenge these psychological needs and particular emotional reactions and coping responses are expected to be more likely depending on levels of threat and challenge to the needs. In this study, rear-end crashes were used as the primary crash configuration to target a specific category of crashes due to distraction. The two types of task load used in the experiment was a cognitive distraction (mock cell-phone task) & visual distraction (I-pad task).
