Abstract:
While users in the rest of the World have been offered 3G mobile phones based on either the CDMA2000 or W-CDMA standards, users in China have the additional option of using phones based on the TD-SCDMA standard. As a technology largely developed by Chinese actors and only implemented in China, TD-SCDMA has been seen as an “indigenous innovation” orchestrated by the Chinese government and supported by Chinese firms. This paper adopts a science and technology studies (STS) framework to explore how global and national institutional and social elements have been embedded in and impacted on the artifacts of TD-SCDMA technology. Rather than being an indigenous Chinese technology, TD-SCDMA’s history exemplifies how standards and the intellectual property embedded in them lead to a complex hybridization between the global and national systems of innovation.

Abstract:
Traditional network control systems require designers to use the serial interface or the bus as tools to control equipments. These ways lead to complicated circuit connection and unreliability of hardware. It is therefore imperative to have good methods to explore a more suitable design choice, which can avoid the problems mentioned above as more as possible. This paper presents a TD-SCDMA network control system based on rapid prototyping equipment in VC++ 2008. It also provides high-level modelling, programming methods and running results for this system in terms of software and hardware. More specifically, this system takes advantage of network control technology, TD-SCDMA network technology and advanced manufacturing technology. Wireless communication and control are accomplished timely and accurately between the network control centre and a number of controlled equipments by use of Winsock control in TD-SCDMA network. This system also can manage the historical data by using database. Furthermore, it has such advantages as low cost and easy to maintain and promote.

A successive approximation approach (SAA) is developed to obtain a new congestion controller for the nonlinear TD-SCDMA network control systems based on TCP/IP. By using the successive approximation approach, the original optimal control problem is transformed into a sequence of nonhomogeneous linear two-point boundary value (TPBV) problems. The optimal control law obtained consists of an accurate linear feedback term and a nonlinear compensation term that is the limit of the solution sequence of the adjoint vector differential equations. By using the finite-time iteration of nonlinear compensation term of optimal solution sequence, we can obtain a suboptimal control law for TD-SCDMA network control systems based on TCP/IP.

Abstract:
In this paper, a new Doppler shift estimator is proposed for Time Division-Synchronous Code Division Multiple Access (TD-SCDMA) over railway environments. Different from other existing methods, which commonly assume that the fading channel coefficients are available for the Doppler estimators, the proposed estimator is developed based on the signals which contain unknown frequency selective fading channel coefficients, unknown Rice factor and random receiver noise; it contains three steps. The statistical properties of the training symbols which are called near independent identically distributed (i.i.d.) training sequences, i.e., midamble, are first analyzed. Afterwards, by the help of a training sequence, the second-order and fourth-order statistics of the received signals are calculated. Then, by exploiting these statistical results, the Doppler shift estimator is obtained. The proposed estimator employs a smoothing function with corrective factor. By optimizing the corrective factor, an accuracy solution is acquired within the Doppler shift range of possibilities. Simulation results indicate that the proposed estimator is greatly reliable and effective to estimate Doppler shift up to 400 Hz.

Abstract:
The development of computers wireless network monitoring system mainly includes steps such as the selection of transmission protocol, the calls of database program, data display and automation implementation and so on. The transmission speed of protocol TD-SCDMA is faster. In addition, it also can transmit voice and pure data files. Thus, this article selects TD-SCDMA protocol as transport protocol of wireless sensor networks. On the basis of the software OLEDB, this paper has developed ActiveX Data Object program, and has implemented the safety supervision automation process of wireless sensor network technology. Finally, this paper uses VC++ software to make a numerical simulation experiment on computer programs by taking an example of coal mine gas monitoring. At the same time, through the display on the window, it is the gas concentration monitoring curve that is obtained when the mine safety is abnormal, which provides the safeguard for mine personnel safety and normal work.

Abstract:
A triband MIMO antenna used for gsm1800/td-scdma/lte/wi-max/wiLan/wifi has been proposed in this paper. The design with the size of 32 m∗73.6 mm is fabricated on FR4 substrate (thickness is 1.6 mm). This antenna consists of two reversed monopole meandered radiators and defected ground structure which work together to achieve impedance match and enhance isolation for all operating bands. According to the subsequent measured results, the working frequency domains are at gsm1800 (1.71 GHz–1.88 GHz), td-scdma (1.88 GHz–2.025 GHz), lte (2.1–2.35, 2.48–2.51), wi-max (3.5 GHz, 5.5 GHz), wiLan (5.725 GHz–5.8 GHz), and wifi (5.8 GHz–5.88 GHz) approximately. Besides, the measured radiation patterns (gain total) are also well at these working frequency domains and the omnidirectional performance has been achieved for the reversed MIMO antenna array. Furthermore, the realized isolation is more than 15 dB, 24.2 dB, and 22 dB at the first, the second, and the third working frequency band, respectively.

Abstract:
3G standards such as TD-SCDMA use multi-user detection (MUD) at the base station to combat multi address interference (MAI) and inter-symbol interference (ISI). We review Cholesky factorization and Schur algorithm for Zero Forcing Block Linear Equalization. We compare the solutions of different algorithm for ZF-BLE by computation, and analyze the complexity of those methods.

Abstract:
The multi-access interference and quality of communication system can be greatly improved by beam forming technology when the smart antenna is adopted. This paper investigates the performance improvement given by a multi-antenna receiver on a mobile terminal , and a link level simulation scheme is presented based on TD-SCDMA system. The performance of dual smart antenna under different circumstance is analyzed, and three different adaptive algorithms are compared under the specifically modeled multipath fading channel. The simulation results show that a dual-antenna arrangement on a mobile terminal can achieve better performance than a conventional single antenna.
