Some imposed changes require practitioners to alter more than what they do in practice but also to change their identity. Many researchers have studied identity change through the lens of sociocultural theory, specifically utilizing communities of practice theory (CoP). However, the majority of these studies used CoP theory as a vehicle to implement the imposed change. Abstract:
Teachers in inclusive classrooms do not use the results of scientific research on evidence-based practices; this gap between research and practice can be seen as a result of theoretical content in teacher education and should be reduced. UX design is an approach from Computer Sciences to build a bridge from providers to users. The following study looks for ways to bridge the theory-practice gap with the help of the UX design approach in inclusive teacher education. Therefore, the use of UX design was implemented in a course for student teachers for inclusive education. The results on three lev

Digital competencies are essential for German teacher training students to design contemporary German lessons. The acquisition of media literacy and the integration of digital tools into lessons are crucial factors for successfully preparing students for digital participation in society. Additionally, digital tools offer significant benefits for subject-specific didactic use in German lessons: planning and support, linguistic analysis and reflection, collaborative environments, visualization techniques, multimodal applications, and more. This potential is only limitedly utilized in Austrian sc

Abstract:
The Covid-19 pandemic locked students all around the world out of school and caused unprecedented educational disruptions for more than two years. Like other countries, Cambodia switched from the traditional physical classrooms to online and distance learning during school closures. Cambodian schools were able to reopen their doors briefly at the end of 2020 after the first nationwide school closure in March earlier that year. However, largescale community outbreaks in February 2021 forced schools to close again. There have been successful lessons in developed countries where online learning a

Abstract:
Introduction to MATLAB is a FREE short course designed to equip researchers with basic MATLAB skills, i.e., write, understand, and run commands/scripts and visualize results with the Matlab IDE. The course is useful for MATLAB novices or someone needing a refresher. It does not cover advanced topics such as toolboxes, object based programming, and HPC. Though it is the first seminar and part of the pre-requisite materials for a Geostatistics workshop Professor Zhang teaches, it can also act as a standalone tutorial for MATLAB.
