Background: Tecartherapy (TECAR) has been used as a form of recovery and/or prevention in neuro-musculoskeletal disorders. Objective: to summarize the existing literature to verify the effects of the use of the TECAR in physiotherapy, whether in an independent utilization or in comparison with other conventional treatments. Methodology: research with keywords in B-on and Pubmed database, to consult different bibliographic sources, to identify published studies, experimental or observational, who approach the intervention of the TECAR in physiotherapy. Results: 7 articles were identified that included a total of 204 participants of both genders, aged between 21 and 85 years. After the implementation of the TECAR, there was a short-term improvement in pain reduction, edema, and improved posture, autonomy, quality of life, and patient satisfaction. Conclusion: the integration of TECAR in physiotherapy has therapeutic benefits. However, it’s considered necessary to carry out more studies and randomized controlled studies to evaluate the evidence of the TECAR as a supporting to the treatment of physiotherapy.

Background: TECAR is a recent technology for therapeutic purposes that is being used more and more as a valid enhancement to traditional treatments Objective: To carry out a literature review in order to analyze the results of rehabilitation performed only with TECAR, combined or compared with other conventional techniques in patients with musculoskeletal conditions. Methodology: The computerized search was done with keywords in the databases Pubmed, Web of Science, EBSCO, in the Google Scholar search engine and consultation of different bibliographic sources, to identify randomized controlled studies that evaluated the isolated effects of TECAR and/or combined with other techniques in physiotherapy treatments. The research strategy followed the PRISMA flowchart. Results: In this literature review, 6 articles were included that included a total of 224 participants of both genders. Conclusion: We can conclude that the implementation of TECAR to conventional treatments has resulted a lot, however, in the various studies involved, the question of price for each treatment session and / or any secondary effects related to the use of TECAR has not been analyzed.

Full textAnalyses the objectives and proposals of information organisation developed by the Bibliographic Movement, and indicates its influence in Information Science. This exploratory research, accomplished through bibliographic survey, literature review, and analysis, investigates in the context of modernity the ideas of Bibliographic Movement exponents Paul Otlet, Wilhelm Ostwald, H. G. Wells, John Cotton Dana, and Watson Davis. The Bibliographic Movement was characterized by its plurality, and aimed to respond to modernity\'s effects in the information world. The movement attributed to information the potentiality of individual transformation. Therefore, it changed the focus of information services from preservation to access, and pursued the organisation of collections according to its contents. The development of technology made the Bibliographic Movement exponents emphasise the application of new technologies to the process of information dissemination in order to facilitate and accelerate it. Information Science inherited its social role partially from the Bibliographic Movement, and aims at organising information so that it can be accessed. Information Science also shares with the movement the perspective of employing high technology to disseminate information. The Zeitgeist that gave rise to the Bibliographic Movement led to a common set of ideas and allowed the elaboration of similar proposals for the organisation of information. However, it is not discarded the probability of mutual influence between the individuals analysed. Despite its historical specificity the Bibliographic Movement shares with Information Science modern ideas and its relation to culture. It is concluded that the current information culture and the information culture of the Bibliographic Movement have differences, notwithstanding, they are entwined cultures and many of their problems are similar and need similar solutions
