The main purpose of this study was the investigation of the planning processes among individuals of different levels of expertise (i.e., novices and experts) in the machining domain, performing on two different tasks of increasing complexity (i.e., Drawing 1 and Drawing 2).<br>Twenty-four subjects were assigned randomly to four experimental groups.
