The aim of the work is to analyze a specific technical monument in Ostrava in the context of its influence on tourism. The chosen monument is an industrial area Dolní Vítkovice which was declared as a national cultural monument and European Heritage and belongs to the Czech Tentative List for inscription on the World Heritage List UNESCO. Theoretical part of this work deals with tourism in the Czech Republic and in Ostrava and also with industrial heritage definition and classification, its restoration, historic preservation and how to integrate industrial heritage into tourism.

The thesis "Economic utilization of industrial structures with focus on railway stations" analyses all possibilities of sustainable use of industrial buildings with a focus on specific example of the Ţiţkov freight station. Based on the general characteristics of both industrial heritage and brownfields are defined steps which are necessary for the protection of valuable locations without present use. The whole process is described in the context of positive and negative externalities. The most important problem is financing the revitalization of problematic objects. The practical part of the thesis describes the previous issues connected to the Ţiţkov freight station including major studies of its potential utilization.

The last part analyses the position of the narrow-gauge railway in tourism based on ascertained data and according to analisys suggests further development of the railway.

The Diploma Thesis is focused on the technical monuments in Křivoklátsko region which are used in the education at primary school via educational excursions. The theoretical part of my Diploma Thesis concentrates on the technical education and its position at primary school. It also concerns the technical monuments, their typology, protection, and the declaration of the monuments as technical monuments of Křivoklátsko. The final part is dedicated to ten technical monuments in Křivoklátsko. The practical part of my Diploma Thesis contains particular educational excursions to the chosen technical monuments which are aimed to the education at primary school. The information background for teachers is the part of each educational excursion. The final section of the practical part is focused on the indicative verification of use of the educational excursions at primary school.

The thesis focuses on technical monuments of the region Jindřichohradecko and their application in teaching at primary schools. The theoretical part characterizes technical monuments, their standard classification and protection in the Czech Republic. The next part deals with technical education, technical literacy and its status at primary schools. It is followed by a description of The Framework Educational Programme for Basic Education in the area Humans and Their World and Humans and the World of Work. This part focuses on the process of education, teaching, learning, the structure of education, educational methods, organizational forms and didactic means. There are presented excursions, their phases and subsequent application in teaching. The practical part of the thesis presents educational topics excursions, they are equipped with aids and verified in teaching at primary schools. The appendix contains work sheets, maps and photographs. It also includes a short video.

This master thesis focuses on technical monuments in Tyn nad Vltavou region and their use in primary school education. The theoretical part of the thesis describes the technical education and the excursion method and their use at primary school. It also deals with the characteristics of technical monuments, their categorization and the ways of their preservation. The end of the theoretical part focuses on the description of selected technical monuments in Tyn nad Vltavou region. The practical part of the thesis introduces seven proposed excursions to selected technical monuments, which are intended for pupils of the first grade of primary school. The effectivity of the proposed excursions is verified at the end of the practical part by a survey research.

The thesis is focused on technical monuments in South Bohemia. Selected monuments are applied in lower secondary school teaching by means of excursions and projects. The theoretical part deals with the project teaching and its use in education. Subsequently the attention is paid to technical education, technological literacy and their roles in lower secondary schools. The last chapter of the theoretical part deals with technical monuments, their official status and typology. The final section is devoted to selected technical monuments and attractions, which are briefly described. Individual excursions and projects for teaching in lower secondary schools are developed in the practical part of the thesis. The information base for teachers and expansion options of individual excursions to other objects are also included in excursions and projects. The supplement of the thesis includes maps and other documents for successful realisation of excursions or projects.

The main focus of this diploma thesis is on the technical properties in Posázaví region, that are through project teaching method introduced to elementary school teaching. In the theoretical part, there are set the aims and duties of this work. There is also a description of a technical property and its specifics, official status and standard classification. Following it, the attention is dedicated to the concrete technical properties. The next chapter deals project teaching, which helps to strengthen the student´s activity and learning. The last part deals with technical education and its place in elementary school teaching. In the practical part, the particular technical properties are worked out into seven teaching projects, which are dedicated for the elementary school teaching. The informational basic for teachers, found by each project, is an integral part of it.

The main principles of project teaching method in primary school are mentioned in the theoretical part. The practical part is based on these principles. The objective of this Diploma Thesis is to draft a project of cultural tourism development in Třeboň region. Quantity of ponds and water courses are typical for this territory, and it also parades with a number of water mills that are architecturally or technologically valuable in terms of historic monuments. Despite their value they are not used as touristic sites and that is why to draft a project of Museum of miller's craft Mill of Spolí is a constituent of the Thesis. The sense and the objective of the project are to provide public access into the existing building of the Mill of Spolí as a technical monument. Museum exposition and practical demonstrations of mill machinery should improve the visitors' knowledge and it should inform them about the history of miller's craft and about the history of the Mill of Spolí itself. By these means the fame of Czech miller's craft as one of the traditional elements of country settlement should be reminded.

The thesis is mainly devoted to the current situation and utilization of the complex of technical monuments in Solivar. A literature review from available relevant sources in particular field was conducted and together with a the theory of social exchange and the resort life cycle theory provided a theoretical background for the study. The methodology was based on questionnaire survey and standardized interviews. The analysis of the technical monuments covered their allocation and utilization in Slovakia. The case study explored the history of technical monuments Solivar, their current condition, possibilities and assumptions of their future utilization in tourism. The work is focused on structural and technical exploration of contribution granary in Zábřeh. Granary is among the cultural monuments. The survey was focused on how to determine the current state of the object.The task was to identify and locate the fault and the scope of individual damage wood and truss construction. The survey was carried out using sensory methods. Component of this work is to propose the best use of the granaries in the future.The result of the survey is a complete technical report STP about the physical condition of the wooden structure and roof, with a proposal for remedial measures. The second output is a proposal for the use of granaries with regard to cultural heritage.

They document the technical progress in our region and its influence on the progress of the society, as well as the standart of living in our region. One special chapter of my work contains the presentation of technical monuments for pupils aged 12 - 15. It can be used by teachers as a didactical material for explaining of related matters. It can be applied also in the interdisciplinary teaching or projects. The main objektive of this work is to explain the importance of technology in terms of the region, and to make pupils be proud of their nationality, their region and their country.

Furthermore, this thesis deals with technical landmarks in the Třeboňsko region. The practical part contains several technical landmarks which may be used as inspiration when creating educational projects for structural and technical education. Some of these projects have been applied in teaching in a small-class primary school. The final part of the thesis contains questionnaires given to first grade primary school teachers to test the indicative functionality of these projects.

Subject diploma work was micro - region Lipensko, where was effected analyse of presumptions and development for cycle - tourism. Highlights was Lipenská main cycle track and her upward evaluation. Agent evaluation were designed stops on trace. Penthouses with sitting plus place for leant bikes. Stoppings: with informative or visual tables than mini fitness other possibility jogging section and calibration tachometer. After first analyse of cycle {--} tourism was making a marketing research, that has been drawn on set hypotheses. Hypotheses were given three and two of them were disproved. Negate conjectures were inspiration for a proposal project of the Lipenská cycle track. Final phase of the work is the proposal project and grant possibility of European union.
