Abstract:
Online reviews about the purchase of products or services provided have become the main source of users’ opinions. In order to gain profit or fame, usually spam reviews are written to promote or demote a few target products or services. This practice is known as review spamming. In the past few years, a variety of methods have been suggested in order to solve the issue of spam reviews. In this study, the researchers carry out a comprehensive review of existing studies on spam review detection using the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach. Overall, 76 existing studies are reviewed and analyzed. The researchers evaluated the studies based on how features are extracted from review datasets and different methods and techniques that are employed to solve the review spam detection problem. Moreover, this study analyzes different metrics that are used for the evaluation of the review spam detection methods. This literature review identified two major feature extraction techniques and two different approaches to review spam detection. In addition, this study has identified different performance metrics that are commonly used to evaluate the accuracy of the review spam detection models. Lastly, this work presents an overall discussion about different feature extraction approaches from review datasets, the proposed taxonomy of spam review detection approaches, evaluation measures, and publicly available review datasets. Research gaps and future directions in the domain of spam review detection are also presented. This research identified that success factors of any review spam detection method have interdependencies. The feature’s extraction depends upon the review dataset, and the accuracy of review spam detection methods is dependent upon the selection of the feature engineering approach. Therefore, for the successful implementation of the spam review detection model and to achieve better accuracy, these factors are required to be considered in accordance with each other. To the best of the researchers’ knowledge, this is the first comprehensive review of existing studies in the domain of spam review detection using SLR process.

Abstract:
SummaryThe purpose of this paper is to review the success of different crane conservation techniques in order to determine which combinations of techniques are most promising. Six major crane conservation techniques were defined and a literature review was conducted. A summary of each technique was prepared, including several examples of the technique's use and possible negative effects. All of the evaluated techniques were successful in at least some cases. Habitat and legal protection are general measures that are required for every species regardless of other conservation techniques being used. Artificial feeding is successful in rapidly bolstering some crane populations but may not be desirable as a long-term conservation technique. Powerline modification or removal should be used to preserve all localized or endangered crane populations. The release of captive-reared cranes shows promise as a conservation technique but should only be used as a last resort. Likewise, manipulation of wild crane eggs should only be used when absolutely necessary to establish or bolster captive flocks.

Abstract:
The use of solar energy is increased now due to its renewable and pollution-free characteristics. The grid connected dc-ac inverters are largely needed for solar power generation which can be used for power transmission and distribution. The electrical power supplied by the solar arrays depends on temperature, isolation and array voltage. It is therefore necessary to adopt MPPT in order to bring the solar array operating voltage near the peak power point. It will help in drawing maximum possible power from the array. This paper presents various techniques used for achieving this target and compares them with each other to know the benefits and drawbacks with each method. Keywords: MPP, P&O, IC, PV, TF.

Abstract:
This study represents a systematic literature review in which we explored the locomotion techniques in virtual reality between 2012 and 2019. We analysed and compared 22 locomotion methods that we have identified in 26 papers included in our review. The objective is to better understand relevant locomotion techniques and their impact on the user experience. The review of the literature has shown a wide range of different locomotion techniques which each technique is characterized by different advantages and drawbacks, but classic locomotion techniques such as joystick outperformed all the proposed technique in the reviewed studies. We also proposed a taxonomy and two types of evaluation for locomotion techniques in virtual environment. These elements provide guidelines that may help researchers to choose the most adapted locomotion technique according to the aim of their study.

Abstract:
High-dimensional data is ubiquitous in scientific research and industrial production fields. It brings a lot of information to people, at the same time, because of its sparse and redundancy, it also brings great challenges to data mining and pattern recognition. Dimensionality reduction can reduce redundancy and noise, reduce the complexity of learning algorithms, and improve the accuracy of classification, it is an important and key step in pattern recognition system. In this paper, we overview the classical techniques for dimensionality reduction and review their properties, and categorize these techniques according to their implementation process. We deduce each algorithm in detail and intuitively show their underlying mathematical principles. Thereby, the focus is to uncover the optimization process for each technique. We compare the characteristics and limitations of each technique and summarize the scope of application, discussing a number of open problems and a perspective of research trend in future.

Abstract:
Abstract In recent years a greater need for power station efficiency has become evident; improving turbine blade efficiency is one of the methods proposed. This efficiency depends upon the wetness of the steam that comes into contact with the blades of the low-pressure turbine stage in general and all turbines in nuclear power generation. Therefore, measurement of the moisture content of the steam in real time in conjunction with an accurate measure of steam velocity can give an overall mass flow re-entering the turbine, allowing for a feedback control. The system can rely on one technique that can measure suspended droplets and wall-bound liquid film, or a combination of techniques can operate together. This work gives a comprehensive review of the different techniques used to measure the moisture content including the liquid film and moisture content and techniques that can give measurements on both simultaneously. Each technique has its strengths and weaknesses, and they were analysed to see which technique works best overall and which techniques can be used together.

Abstract:
The poor dissolution rate of water-insoluble drugs is still a substantial problem confronting the pharmaceutical industry. There are several methods used to increase the solubility of drugs, of those liquid-solid compact technique is a new and promising addition towards such a novel aim, that the solubility of the insoluble drug moiety is increased by the aid of non-volatile solvents and hence increasing the dissolution and bioavailability. Oral drug administration has been one of the most convenient and widely accepted routes of delivery for most of the therapeutic agents. It is one of the most extensively used routes of drug administration because of its obvious advantages of ease of administration, improved patient compliance, and convenience. The enhancement of oral bioavailability of poorly water-soluble drugs remains one of the most challenging aspects of drug development. A more recent technique, “powdered solution technology” or “Liquisolid technology”, has been applied to prepare water-insoluble drugs into rapid-release solid dosage forms. The limited solubility of drugs is a challenging issue for the industry, during the development of the ideal solid dosage form unit. The technique is based upon the dissolving the insoluble drug in the nonvolatile solvent and admixture of drug loaded solutions with appropriate carrier and coating materials to convert into acceptably flowing and compressible powders.

Abstract:
Data science is the study of data. It involves developing methods of recording, storing, and analyzing data to effectively extract useful information. The goal of data science is to gain insights and knowledge from any type of data — both structured and unstructured. Data science is related to computer science, but is a separate field. Computer science involves creating programs and algorithms to record and process data, while data science covers any type of data analysis, which may or may not use computers. Data science is more closely related to the mathematics field of Statistics, which includes the collection, organization, analysis, and presentation of data. Because of the large amounts of data modern companies and organizations maintain, data science has become an integral part of IT. For example, a company that has petabytes of user data may use data science to develop effective ways to store, manage, and analyze the data. The company may use the scientific method to run tests and extract results that can provide meaningful insights about their users.
