In many contact-based smart-cards the logical abilities are provided by eight-bit microcontroller units (MCU) which are slow at performing effective cryptographic functions. Abstract:
Review question / Objective: What is the effect of the use of technology for humanized nursing care in adults? Present a synthesis of knowledge about the elements that are part of humanized care and the use of technology. Condition being studied: Although technology can be a valuable tool to improve nursing care, it can also present some challenges for humanized care. Some of them may be, on the one hand, the lack of human contact, due to excessive use of technology, which may result in a decrease in personal interaction between the patient and the nurse, affecting the quality of care and pati

Abstract:
Limitations in the human decision-making process restrict the technological potential of algorithms, which is also referred to as "algorithm aversion". This study uses a laboratory experiment with participants to investigate whether a phenomenon known since 1982 as the "decoy effect" is suitable for reducing algorithm aversion. For numerous analogue products, such as cars, drinks or newspaper subscriptions, the Decoy Effect is known to have a strong influence on human decision-making behaviour. Surprisingly, the decisions between forecasts by humans and Robo Advisors (algorithms) investigated

Abstract:
Rapid technological advances make telehealth a moving target for regulators. This study examines the scope and evolving nature of telehealth statutes (i.e., laws passed by state legislatures) and regulations (i.e., laws promulgated by state executive agencies) in the U.S. Our research aims to understand changes in telehealth laws over time (2008-2015), variations in legal frameworks established across the U.S., and the extent that state laws regulate the primary care delivery through the use of telehealth. We found that the number of states with broadly worded laws that authorize a variety of
