Online service is used to be as Pay-Per-Use in Cloud computing. Service user need not be in a long time contract with cloud service providers. Service level agreements (SLAs) are understandings marked between a cloud service providers and others, for example, a service user, intermediary operator, or observing operators. Since cloud computing is an ongoing technology giving numerous services to basic business applications and adaptable systems to manage online agreements are significant. SLA maintains the quality-of-service to the cloud user. If service provider fails to maintain the required

The article deals with the topic of 3D printing of pressure vessels and their testing. The main focus of the research was on a 3D model of the pressure vessel, which was originally designed for a student formula racing car project. The described virtual 3D model was designed with regard to 3D printing. The physical model was manufactured using several additive manufacturing technologies. The first technology was FDM using ULTEM 1010 material. The next technology was SLS (Selective Laser Sintering) using polyamide materials (PA3200GF and PA2220). The last technology was SLA (Stereolithography)

To evaluate the effects of different Ti surface micro-nanopermeable structures on osteoblast proliferation and differentiation and explore related mechanisms, hybrid technology of sandblast, acid etching, and hydrothermal (HT) was used to form the micro-nanopermeable surface of Ti. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM), surface profiler, and contact angle meter were utilized to assess the surface morphology, roughness, and hydrophilicity. MTT, SEM, alkaline phosphatase (ALP) activity assay, and real-time PCR were performed to investigate proliferation, adhesion and spreading, and differentiation

This study evaluated the effects of the differences in the printing directions of stereolithography (SLA) three-dimensional (3D)-printed dentures on accuracy (trueness and precision). The maxillary denture was designed using computer-aided design (CAD) software with an STL file (master data) as the output. Three different printing directions (0°, 45°, and 90°) were used. Photopolymer resin was 3D-printed (n = 6/group). After scanning all dentures, the scanning data were saved/output as STL files (experimental data). For trueness, the experimental data were superimposed on the master data sets.

Reverse engineering (RE) plays an important role in accelerating product research and borrowing ideals from other manufacturers. This paper describes the whole RE process from origin point acquisition to data processing for better point quality. Based on RE system of a toy prototype, a fine surface reconstruction module is developed. Measurement data are acquired by scanning the physical object using three-dimensional coordinate measuring machine (CMM) and an optical scanning device. After the establishment of the model, data process for prototype, includes noise elimination, data interpolatio

Cloud computing encompasses powerful technology to perform complex computing for large applications. It provides access to various resources from any location with reduced Information Communication Technology overhead, enabling availability and scalability of resources based on consumer needs. Therefore, it has brought a paradigm shift in the way computing services are delivered. However, due to its increasing usage and rising expectations from cloud service provisioning, providing optimal and effective service is becoming an arduous task for service providers. AbstractResearchers in second language acquisition (SLA) have long debated the nature of human cognition and how it affects second language learning (L2L). On the one hand, and largely dominating the field of SLA, is the cognitive approach, which focuses on the brain as the unit for cognitive analysis. On the other hand, sociocultural theory holds that human cognition is mediated by cultural artifacts. These perspectives present significantly different views on interaction, understanding it as either auxiliary or instrumental in the learning process, or “fundamentally constitutive” of learning

In this paper, we introduce a new kind of Service Level Agreement(SLA) Template to better control dynamically quality of medical monitoring platform service. Our approach is based on Health care system and Health Information Technology (HIT) research area, specifically the field of telemonitoring system for patients who suffer from chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). According to WHO statistics, COPD is the third leading cause of death worldwide. To this end, several solutions or platforms exist today to monitor COPD. Most of these platforms manage large volume of patient data. This
