Abstract:

The paper presents the results of an empirical study on the personality traits of sexually active teenagers. The research identified the personality traits of teenagers who are inclined to look for sexual relations. The research focused on the following: motivation and values, implicit representations about sexual contacts, parent-child relations, and self-concept. The study comprised 465 individuals including 405 school students aged 14-16 and 60 mothers of the teenagers examined. The results demonstrate that teenagers' refusal to begin sexual life, provided they have this opportunity (i.e. a partner), is linked to their subjective perception of the basic values reflected in their consciousness. The research also focused on the features of teenagers' implicit representations with regard to sexual intercourse. This allowed to identify the role of sexual intercourse in teenagers' life. The factors regulating sexual relations in the age under study have been revealed. The research shows that teenage sexual intercourse is mainly driven by cognitive motives combined with the hedonistic (boys) and communicational/social ones (girls). Emotionally distant parents are another factor triggering sexual relations. The negatively critical attitude to sexual partners was also displayed, especially by girls. The attitude was expressed by teenagers even where they initiated sexual intercourse themselves, without been pressured into it by their partners. The study has an applied character and enables effective preventive and corrective work with sexually active teenagers.

Abstract:

Abstract. Premarital sexual behavior is the behavior that is driven by sexual desire, both with the opposite sex or same sex without going through a legal marriage process according to law and religion. This study aims to describe premarital adolescent sexual behavior based on sex, age and education level. The design in this study is descriptive quantitative by collecting data from premarital sexual behavior scale (consisted of 11 items) compiled by Widowati (2009). The participants were 400 teenagers aged 17-24 years, currently or have been dating, unmarried, and domiciled at Kelapa Lima Sub District. Data analysis by kruskall-wallis test. The result showed that there are significant differences in premarital adolescent sexual behavior based on sex and age, but there is no significant difference in adolescent sexual behavior based on education level. The teenagers are expected to be able to maintain their behavior and filter information received from peers or the mass media.

Abstract:

Introduction The risks associated with teenage sex include pregnancy and a high rate of sexually transmitted diseases (STDs). Material and methods The study compared female teenagers: 32 with STDs and 90 with fungal skin infections who were treated in the City Center for Skin and Venereal Diseases in Belgrade from January 2000 to June 2001. An anonymous questionnaire was used to collect data and an univariate logistic regression analysis was performed. Results The mean age of participants was 18.2 years. About 40% of respondents reported to have their first sexual intercourse at the age of 14-16 years. The majority of cases and controls had one or two partners, but a greater percentage of cases had six or more partners compared to controls (12.5% vs. 3.3%). Adolescents with STDs frequently had sexual intercourse on the first date (p<0.05), and more frequently reported previous STDs in their personal history (p<0.05). Consistent use of condoms was less frequent among cases than among controls, both with steady (9.4% vs. 27.8%) and irregular partners (30.0% vs. 70.6%). The majority of teenagers (95%) thinks that sexual education at schools should be better. Discussion According to the results obtained, which are in agreement with literature data, teenagers should change their behavior, especially with respect to condom use both during vaginal and anal sex. Health education at schools could probably influence future sexual behavior, and counseling for STDs should be offered to all teenagers attending STD clinics. Conclusion The best way to avoid unwanted pregnancy and STDs is to delay the first sexual experience, reduce the number of sexual partners and increase the protection by condom use.

Abstract:

In dense and slum areas, parents often have to share bedroom with theirchildren, so the children have been exposed to sexual activity since early. This study aimed to determine residential density, parents’ sexual activity and its effects to teenage sexual behavior in Yogyakarta. This study used cross-sectional design by interviewing 268 families that had teenagers as selected randomly in urban slum areas and rural areas on March – May 2015. Data was analyzed using chi-square test and multivariate cox-regression. Results showed that parents living in dense residence had risk two times higher to commit sexual activity which had negative effect on their children. Parents’ sexual activity did not have any influence to risky sexual behavior among teenagers. Factors significantly related to risky sexual behavior among teenagers are male sex, negative attitude and influence of peers. Health agency and primary health care should improve counseling programs for teenagers and train peer counselors. Activities which have been conducted at schools should be expanded to risky areas, such as urban slum area with high density of residence. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain potong lintang dengan mewawancarai 268 keluarga yang memiliki anak remaja yang dipilih secara acak di daerah kumuh perkotaan dan daerah pedesaan pada bulan Maret – Mei 2015. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan uji kai kuadrat dan regresi-cox multivariat. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa orangtua yang tinggal di hunian padat memiliki risiko dua kali lebih besar untuk melakukan aktivitas seksual yang berdampak negatif bagi anaknya. Aktivitas seksual orangtua tidak berpengaruh terhadap perilaku seksual berisiko pada remaja. Faktor yang berhubungan bermakna dengan perilaku seksual berisiko pada remaja adalah jenis kelamin laki-laki, sikap negatif, dan pengaruh teman sebaya. Dinas kesehatan dan puskesmas agar terus meningkatkan program penyuluhan remaja dan melatih konselor teman sebaya. Kegiatan yang selama ini telah dilakukan di sekolah sebaiknya diperluas pada daerah berisiko seperti daerah kumuh perkotaan dengan kepadatan hunian yang tinggi.

Abstract:

The condition of family life whereby there is divorce or separation will either mentally or psychologically affect children in the family that becomes more obvious as the children grow up. Moreover, when there are other factors that support the behavior. To identify association between sexual behavior of senior high school teenagers and marital status of parents at Mataram Municipality Nusa. Data analysis used chi square (χ²) and logistic regression at confidence interval 95%. Result: Marital status of parents was significantly associated with sexual behavior of teenagers with p-value 0.0001 and PR 2.03 (CI 95% 1.65-2.50). The result of bivariate analysis showed significant association between variable of peers’ influence with p value 0.0001 and PR 2.40 (CI95% 1.90-3.04) and variable of mass media exposure with p-value 0.0001 and PR 3.92 (CI 95% 2.42-6.36) and sexual behavior of teenagers. The result of logistic regression analysis showed marital status of divorced parents had the probability of increasing sexual behavior of teenagers as much as 19% after being controlled by variables of peers’ influence and mass media exposure. Conclusion: Marital status of parents was associated with sexual behavior of teenagers. Teenagers whose parents were divorced had the probability for higher sexual behavior than those whose parents were not divorced.

OBJECTIVE: to test a theoretical model based on the Parent-Based Expansion of the Theory of Planned Behavior examining relation between selected parental, teenager and cultural variables and Latino teenagers' intentions to engage in sexual behavior.METHOD: a cross-sectional correlational design based on a secondary data analysis of 130 Latino parent and teenager dyads.RESULTS: regression and path analysis procedures were used to test seven hypotheses and the results demonstrated partial support for the model. Parent familism and knowledge about sex were significantly associated with parents' attitudes toward sexual communication with their teenagers. Parent Latino acculturation was negatively associated with parents' self-efficacy toward sexual communication with their teenagers and positevely associated with parents' subjective norms toward sexual communication with their teenagers. Teenager knowledge about sex was significantly associated with higher levels of teenagers' attitudes and subjective norms about sexual communication with parents. Only the predictor of teenagers' attitudes toward having sex in the next 3 months was significantly associated with teenagers' intentions to have sex in the next 3 months.CONCLUSION: the results of this study provide important information to guide future research that can inform development of interventions to prevent risky teenager sexual behavior among Latinos.

This work is a continuation of the article on risky sexual behavior among young people. In this part, based on a review of various studies, as well as the results of their own surveys of students of schools, colleges and universities, such forms of sexually dangerous behavior as promiscuity, sexual intercourse with alcohol and drug use, child-teen prostitution are considered. It is revealed that different forms of deviant behavior and sexually dangerous behavior very often accompany each other. Teenagers having one type of problem behavior, are likely to have the others. Alcohol and drug use is a central element of risky behavior among adolescents and young people. In particular, the relationship between substance use and sexual behavior has been identified. The influence of the Internet on sexual behavior of teenagers is considered, modern types of virtual sexual activity of teenagers on the Internet and the associated risks are analyzed risks are analyzed.

The progress of the application of internet media technology among teenagers makes teenagers spend a lot of time useless, so that few teenagers have experience changes in communication, ethics, and behavior, even increasing sexual deviance behavior. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of internet media on sexual deviance behavior in adolescents of SMP Negeri 4 Tebing Tinggi in 2019. This type of research uses a cross-sectional method. The population in this study was 90 students. The results show that there is an influence on the frequency of internet media usage on adolescent sexual deviation behavior. There is an effect of the duration of internet media usage on adolescent sexual deviation behavior. There is the influence of internet media access used on adolescent sexual deviation behavior, and the variable that most influences the behavior of adolescent sexual deviation is the variable frequency of using internet media with prevalency ratio 3.501. It expected that adolescents do not use the facilities and internet media their have for pornography. Besides, teenagers should be positive things in their spare time, such as taking school extracurricular activities, exercising, or did good hobbies to avoid deviant behavior.

Abstract:

This study aims at describing premarital sex behavior as well as to analyze peers impact on premarital sexual behavior of teenagers. The study was conducted in Bali, Indonesia. This is an analytic observational research that applied cross-sectional approach. The subject was 566 teenagers who were studying at Senior High Schools in Buleleng, Bali. Data was collected using a questionnaire. We examined the validity and reliability of the data before analyzed it. We also collected data through interviews. After being analyzed by logistic regression analysis, the data shows that 47% of teenagers have never watched porn, 35.9% of teenagers have never conducted kissing activity (with their partner), 24.7% of teenagers have never conducted sexuality rub toward their sexual organs, 22.8% of teenagers have ever masturbated, and 13.1% of teenagers have never experienced sexual intercourse. Teenagers who have got the correct information from peers are possible to have better premarital sex behaviors, 2 times greater than those who have not got correct information (OR = 2; p = 0.003). It is also found that teenagers who have got a good emotional relationship with peers are more possible to have better premarital sex behavior life, 3 times greater, than teenagers who have got a less emotional relationship with peers (OR = 3; p = 0.000). It is concluded that, statistically, there is significant influence between peers and premarital sex behaviors of teenagers in Indonesia.

Source of information obtained teenagers about reproduction health is pushed the behavior of the teenagers to know more about sexual problem. In line with the era of globalization, information and technology, there is a big change in the sexual behavior of teenagers. Unwanted pregnancy, unsafe abortions and an increase in cases of sexually transmitted infections, which is a problem in teenagers reproduction health in Indonesia. The results of research in the program of Muda Berkarya conducted by Yayasan Kita (2005), teenagers of Sabang and some other town in the province of Aceh are likely to be further involved in unsafe sexual behavior. The purpose of this survey study with cross sectional study design is to examine the relationship of reproduction health resources (role of media, role of parents, role of peers) on the sexual behavior of high school students in Sabang. The population of this study are 607 high school students and 113 of them were selected through univariate proporsional hypothesis test to be the samples for this study and bivariate (Chi square test) with significance level ? <0,05 and level of confidence of 95%. The results using Chi square test shows that significant variables related to sexual behavior are: the role of the media (p = 0.018) role of parents (p = 0.043) and the role of peers (p = 0.014). All of these variables have been associated with sexual behavior. It is suggested that the Department of Health to improve the implementation of outreach programs Teenagers Reproduction Health. With the counseling of students to better understand and care for reproduction health. The Department of Education to improve reproductive health education curriculum, so that students are better able to keep the negative sexual behavior and pornography so that negative interactions can be avoided.

Abstract:

The aim of this study was to investigate gaps between knowledge on HIV/AIDS and sexual behavior among teenagers. The study used a cross-sectional design with a representative random sample of 1,158 teenagers (14 to 19 years of age) enrolled in nine public secondary schools and who answered validated questionnaires. Data analysis included descriptive statistics and tests of hypotheses (chi-square, Mann-Whitney and Kruskal-Wallis, Kendall, and Fisher's exact test). The vast majority of the teenagers (98.7%) expressed doubt on at least one question. Condom use during first sexual intercourse was significantly associated with condom use in sexual relations in the previous six months. There was no statistical association between knowledge on HIV/AIDS and frequency of condom use or number of sexual partners. Health actions are needed that link schools to health services, in addition to not only elaborating appropriate information but also valorizing teenagers' individuality in the development of proposals

Abstract:

The article is devoted to the consideration of risky sexual behavior of adolescents and young people. The first part of the article presents an overview of statistical data from Rosstat and the Ministry of Health on the problem of the incidence of adolescents with sexually transmitted infections and HIV. It has been shown that despite a noticeable decrease in the incidence of sexually transmitted infections among children and adolescents in recent years, this age population is a vulnerable risk group. The main trend – against the general decrease in the incidence of sexually transmitted infections, an increase in the incidence of viral sexual infections and their hidden forms is observed. It has been revealed that the age structure among newly diagnosed HIV patients has changed: over the past two decades, there has been a decrease in the incidence of HIV infection among adolescents, and the epidemic is migrating to older age groups. Based on a review of various studies, as well as the results of our own surveys of high school students and college students, the peculiarities of adolescent sexual activity were considered: the prevalence of early sexual intercourse, the use of contraception, awareness of sexual hygiene and sexually transmitted infections. It was revealed that the rate of decline in the average age of sexual debut that has lasted over the last decades has slowed down, but the proportion of sexually active minors is quite large, while many adolescents do not use means of protection, having certain prejudices about their use, and awareness of infections is not satisfactory.

Health promotion is a process to build self awareness to avoid of the health risk. Education about sexual risk behavior for teenagers is one of them. Education media had a function to communicate and spread the information of health. The education media on sexual risk behavior for teenagers was a important thing for health promotion programe. The research pupouse are to expose and describes the form of education media on sexual risk behavior for teenagers at junior high schools in Badung Regions by using qualitaive method. The respondens are choice by purposive. The result shown that there is many form of education media for sexual risk behavior for teenagers, wich are booklet, power poin slide, leaflet/brocure, social media, video, TV,book and peer. Media that was ever used are booklet, power poin slide, leaflet/brocure, social media and article. Media that was more used are social media, leaflet/brocure and power poin. There is no information about the effectivity level of media. The outcame of education media for sexual risk behavior only increase cognitive aspect. Based from all of respondens speaks, media which is suitable are slide/power poin, leaflet/brocure, sosial media dan video.

Abstract:

Teens today have experienced a shift in morality, thought and behavior patterns because they are influenced by foreign cultures. This is due to lack of progress, especially in the field of transport and telecommunications that are spreading globally at youth culture. Negative attitudes towards adolescent health, such as sexual activity also tend to increase. Turonggo Wiro Budoyo (TWB) Wirobrajan Yogyakarta youth association which is a group of teenagers in the field of traditional dance, jathilan, is identified as a group of young adults at risk of premarital sex. They almost have a close friend (dating) and have intercourse, which is interesting to explore. There are five teenagers who can maintain a healthy sexual behavior. The purpose of research is to know the description of personal factors and external factors that influence adolescents to be able to retain healthy sexual behavior in a risky environment in TWB Yogyakarta youth association. Based on in-depth interviews with five teenagers who declares themselves not dating and a group leader community of TWB, it was shown that an overview that affects teens still behave in a healthy sex despite being in a risky environment is an overview of personal where young people have the ability to hold back emotions, ideals and religiosity attitudes, while the picture of the external consists of a family function where parents do remind norms and religion as well as the ability of adolescents to maintain away from the influence of friends to behave deviate.

Abstract:

We use a randomized experiment to test whether and what information changes teenagers' sexual behavior in Kenya. Providing information on the relative risk of HIV infection by partner's age led to a 28 percent decrease in teen pregnancy, an objective proxy for the incidence of unprotected sex. Self-reported sexual behavior data suggests substitution away from older (riskier) partners and toward same-age partners. In contrast, the official abstinence-only HIV curriculum had no impact on teen pregnancy. These results suggest that teenagers are responsive to risk information, but their sexual behavior is more elastic on the intensive than on the extensive margin. (JEL D83, I12, J13, O12)

Promiscuity in sexual behavior in adolescent boys in Wirobrajan, Yogyakarta cityPurposeThis study aimed to obtain a description of the factors that promote promiscuity in sexual behavior and its impact in adolescent boys in Wirobrajan.MethodThis qualitative research used a case study design, using snowball sampling. Data were analyzed by content analysis technique.ResultsThe permissiveness of sexual behavior of teenagers will have an impact, and is easily affected by promiscuity behavior. The influence of peer group or peers is very dominant in the behavior of teen promiscuity. Lack of adolescent awareness about the dangers of promiscuity, the orientation of seeking pleasure and curiosity triggers the behavior of teen promiscuity by exploiting loopholes of rules and lack of control. The confidence and experience of the impact of promiscuity behavior becomes the dominant factor so that teenagers who do not behave with promiscuity do not repeat the behavior. Impact of juvenile promiscuity behavior among others included being ostracized, gonorrhea, syphilis, and genital herpes and other sexually transmitted diseases.ConclusionGreater supervision is needed from various sectors and enforcement of the rules so that the behavior and impact of promiscuity can be minimized. The supervision of teenagers’ association will have an impact on adolescent behavior.

The article is devoted to the problem of deviant behavior of adolescents. The authors conclude that one of the factors of deviant behavior is the inferiority of the family, namely attention deficit. The material well-being of the family, the level of prosperity also affects the deviance of minors. Deviant behavior can occur for various reasons from internal experiences to external pressure from adults, including criminals. Significant age characteristics of minors that cause behavior deviations are: incompleteness of the process of personality formation; lack of their own mechanisms for overcoming difficulties; contradictory feelings, a combination of sensitivity and cruelty; increased sexual desire; inadequate self-esteem and self-doubt; impulsivity; maximalism in assessments; stubbornness and suggestibility; insufficiently developed ability to objectively assess specific actions, to self-control behavior; lack of life experience, skills for constructive problem solving; not the ability to find the most acceptable ways to resolve complex life situations, low resistance to stress.

Background and Purpose: Each year, teenagers account for about one-fifth of all unintended pregnancies in the United States. As such, delivering sexual risk reduction educational materials to teens in a timely fashion is of critical importance. Web-based delivery of these materials shows promise for reaching and persuading teens away from risky sexual and substance abuse behaviors. The purpose of this study was to pilot test a web-based program aimed at reducing risky sexual behavior and related outcomes among adolescents in a high school setting. Methods: A beta-test of the website was conducted in three public schools in New Mexico, USA with 173 students in 9th and 10th grades recruited from existing health education classes. Participants spent approximately three hours over a period of two days completing the online program in school computer labs. Results: Pretest to posttest results indicated that self-efficacy for condom use and condom use intentions, two theoretical mediators of changes in condom use behavior, were significantly changed. Adolescents also reported high satisfaction with the website content. Conclusion: BReady4it provided an innovative sex and substance abuse education to teenagers that revealed promising positive changes in cognitive constructs that are inversely related to risky sexual behavior among users.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh faktor personal seperti pengetahuan tentang kesehatan seksual, IMS dan HIV / AIDS, sikap, harga diri dan efikasi diri terhadap perilaku seksual pranikah pada remaja di Kota Kendari yang diukur melalui kuesioner dan wawancara mendalam. Desain penelitian adalah studi potong lintang dengan jumlah sampel 200 remaja yang berasal dari empat sekolah negeri di Kota Kendari mulai dari Agustus sampai dengan Oktober 2014. Analisis regresi logistik menunjukan bahwa remaja yang memiliki pengetahuan yang rendah tentang kesehatan seksual, IMS dan HIV / AIDS berisiko sebesar 4,28 kali, sikap permisif terhadap seksualitas berisiko 5 kali, harga diri rendah berisiko sebesar 3,3 kali dan efikasi diri rendah sebesar 2,5 kali untuk melakukan perilaku seksual pranikah berisiko. Analisis kualitatif menunjukan variabel sikap sebagai faktor yang memberikan risiko terbesar di dalam berperilaku seksual pranikah yang berisiko pada remaja. Influence of Personal Factor to Premarital Sexual Behavior among TeenagersHigh premarital sexual behavior among teenagers are caused by personal factors, such as health sexual knowledge, Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs) and HIV / AIDS, attitudes towards sexuality, self-esteem and self-efficacy. This study aimed to find out the influence of personal factor to premarital sexual behavior among teenagers in the Kendari City as assessed through questionnaires and in-depth interviews.The study design was cross-sectional study with a sample of 200 adolescents from four public schools in Kendari City from August to October 2015. Logistic regression analysis showed teenagers having lack of knowledge of sexual health, STIs and HIV / AIDS had 4.28 times risk having permissive attitude toward sexuality had 5 times risk, having low self-esteem had 3.3 times risk and having low self-efficacy had 2.5 times to perform premarital sexual behavior. Qualitative analysis showed that attitude variable was the factor giving the biggest risk in risky premarital sexual behavior among teenagers.

Abstract:

Sexual behavior is any behavior that is driven by sexual desire, whether done alone, with the opposite sex or of the same sex, from feeling attracted, dating, flirting, and having sex. Dating status and sexual behavior are closely related. The increasing age of dating adolescents has an impact on increasing opportunities for sexual behavior. This study aimed to analyze the effect of dating status on sexual behavior in Grade XI at SMA XYZ Medan in 2020.This research was mixed method. The population was 413 adolescents, the sample used accidental sampling technique. For quantitative, there are 80 teenagers, including 39 boys and 41 girls. And 6 qualitative informants including teenagers who are dating, peers and teachers. Quantitative data were analyzed by using statistical tests with univariate, bivariate and triangulation. The results showed that the cross-tabulation value of the effect of dating status on sexual behavior in adolescents was p (0.000) <α (.05). There was an effect of dating status on sexual behavior in adolescents. Based on the qualitative results, the key informants stated that they were dating and had committed various sexual behaviors with their boyfriends, while the supporting informants, namely peers, stated that they were close friends with the key informants, knew the dating status and had seen sexual behavior carried out by the key informants.The conclusion that sexual behavior in adolescents at SMA XYZ was found. It is hoped that adolescents will maintain a friendly environment in social interactions and be more active in positive activities, so that unbeneficial activities such as those related to dating and sexual behavior can be avoided.

Statistics indicate that the incidence of pregnancy termination through abortion is on the rise among adolescents. This trend is particularly disturbing because many teenagers opting for an abortion disclose that they engaged in unprotected sexual activities. Despite the ostensible willingness of teenagers to rely upon abortion as a method of birth control, evidence suggests that the procedure may have enduring negative repercussions. Previewing, which focuses the adolescent on predicting the likely consequences of her behavior, may be a beneficial therapeutic intervention in these cases. During short-term psychotherapy, previewing may help teenagers anticipate the likely outcome of abortion and thus modify behavior patterns so that pregnancy and abortion may be avoided.

Menarche is the first menstruation for the women that can be the initial for the maturity and healthy women. The study method is quantitative approach with Cross sectional method. The damples are 92 people. The results of this study are (1) there is correlation between knowledge and female teenagers action in facing menarche in SMP Negri 1 Deli Tua 2015 with p-value 0,029; (2) there is correlation between behavior and female teenagers action in facing menarche in SMP Negri 1 Deli Tua 2015 with p-value 0,012; (3) there is correlation between family support and female teenagers action in facing menarche in SMP Negri 1 Deli Tua 2015 with p-value 0,000; (4) there is correlation between peers and female teenagers action in facing menarche in SMP Negri 1 Deli Tua 2015 with p-value 0,045; (5) there is correlation between internet and female teenagers action in facing menarche in SMP Negri 1 Deli Tua 2015 with p-value 0,004; (6) the most dominant factor is family support. Homosexuality is defined as romantic attraction, sexual attraction, or sexual behavior between the same sex or gender. Gay is one of the sexual disorders where man is attracted to other straight or gay man. Mostly, teenagers are unaware of this current emerging phenomenon. So, some may get involved or even dragged into this crisis which will lead them to miserable mental state. Their lack of knowledge about the concept and detrimental effect of gay behavior is also the main concern. Hence, a preventive approach should be taken to hinder teenagers, especially male students, from the negative outcome of gay behavior through guidance and counselling program. The paper followed the procedure in descriptive research design. The research population was all public high school students in Padang and there were 100 respondents which was chosen through purposive sampling. Based on the research findings, 15 students (15%) responded in the highest scale, extremely concerned. 23 students (23) were moderately concerned. 58 students (58%) seemed in uncertainty. 4 students (4%) were at loss or slightly concerned facing this crisis. In brief, most students had low awareness of this crisis. Thus, their understanding in gay behavior must be enhanced. The aid offered to help them protect themselves is providing information about the concept of gay behavior, gay characteristics, the causes of gay behavior, the impact of being a homosexual man and how they find a sexual partner through guidance and counseling program.

The use of technology nowadays increasingly facilitates communication without being limited by space and time. At present print and electronic media is an environment that is close to teenagers. Television is an electronic media that is easily accessible to teenagers because of the large amount of information and news broadcast. This study aims to determine the relationship of exposure to pornography through television with teenage sexual behavior of SMAN 2 Kendari. Type of research is analytical, with the research design used is the Cross Sectional Study. The research sample was 69 people. With the inclusion criteria willing to take part in the study by signing the consent sheet and being a teenager attending school at SMAN 2 Kendari. Most respondents 36 people (53.1%) had exposure to pornography from low television media. Mild sexual behavior of 60 respondents (86.96%). The majority of sexual behavior that respondents often do when their boyfriend is holding hands 40 (57.9%). A total of 5 respondents (7.2%) did kisses involving the tongue during dating. Most respondents have peer behavior that is low (57.9%). Based on the results of the study there is a significant relationship between exposure to pornography from television media and teenage sexual behavior (p<0.05).

By looking at the picture of interpersonal communication old man is expected to overcome adolescent premarital sexual behavior.Objektive : The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between interpersonal communication of parents toward adolescent premarital sexual behavior.Method: This was an observational study using cross-sectional design and mixed methods approaches (quantitative and qualitative). The experiment was conducted at SMAN A, SMAN B, SMA C Idan MAN D Padang with research subjects totaling 299 teenagers. Informants for qualitative data that consists of 4 boys, 4 girls and 8 parents of the school to be studied.Results and Discussion: Indicates that there is a statistically significant relationship (p <0.05) between the independent variables (interpersonal communication of parents) with dependent variable (adolescent premarital sexual behavior) with a RP 3.71 95% CI (2.62 to 5.25). interpersonal communication of parents after the controlled variable peers, the media and religiosity there is also an increase of 49%.Conclusion: premarital sexual behavior in adolescents at risk because interpersonal communication of parents are not good . Other factors that affect the risk of premarital sexual behavior in adolescents are peers, the media and the level of religiosity. Studies of aggressive behavior of teenagers and sexual aggression in particular in the last time are particularly relevant and valuable in modern society. This is confirmed by the data of criminological statistics, according to which the rate of minor crime in the Russian Federation in recent years has virtually the same range. A comprehensive study of the person of a minor convicted of violent crimes of a sexual nature (personal characteristics, characteristics of sexual identity and parent-child relationship) on the basis of comparative analysis with a group of teenagers convicted of the crime of mercenary-violent type, and a group of students emerging in socially favourable environment, enabled them to identify some distinctive features. The obtained results allow to suggest a possible mutual influence of personal characteristics and characteristics of sexual identity with the peculiarities of child-parent relationships in a group of juveniles convicted for violent crimes of a sexual nature.

This study examined the relationship between peers popularity and self-esteem within the attitude towards sexual behaviour among young pregnant out of wedlock. A total of 130 teenagers pregnant out of wedlock aged between 14 years and 19 years from 4 welfare institutions in the states of Selangor, Perak, Johor and Kelantan participated in this research. Respondents were selected using stratified random sampling technique. This study utilises the three questionnaires of the Inventory Peer Pressure, Popularity, and Conformity Scale (Santor, Messervey & Kusumakar, 2000), the Rosenberg Self- Esteem Scale (Rosenberg, 1965) and Brief Sexual Attitudes Scale (Hendrick & Reich, 2006). All instruments used had yielded a Cronbach’s alpha reliability coefficient value ranging from 0.82 to 0.90. Findings revealed that the level of peers popularity is high, level of self esteem also high and respondents indicated a high level of attitude sexual behavior. Results of Pearson’s correlation analysis revealed that there were significant relationships between peers popularity and attitudes toward sexual behavior (r= .801, p<.05) and a significant correlation between self esteem and attitude sexual behavior (r = .708, p <.05). Bootstrapping analysis revealed the role of self esteem as a mediator variables of peers popularity and self esteem with sexual attitude behavior. From the theoretical implications, this study describes the role of self esteem as a mechanism that effect the popularity of peer sexual behavior and attitude. In conclusion, peers popularity and self esteem related to sexual attitude and behavior. The study showed that risk factors such as the acceptance by the peer group have a significant direct effect on sexual behavior At the same time, this study also suggests several alternatives in order to curb sexual misconduct among the teenagers today.

Abstract:

The results of a preliminary study that was conducted on October 3, 2014 in the working area through community leaders that the data obtained in the region ﬁnd teenagers who use modern mobile phone is already making it easier for adolescents to access information related to sexual behavior. In 2014 there was one case of students expelled because of unwanted pregnancies. The purpose of study was to determine the factors that causing the premarital sexual behavior in adolescents in Wedomartani village, Sleman. Study methods used was quantitative with analytical research using chi-square test, with a sample of 80 adolescents. The results showed that characteristics of teens in the village of Sleman Wedomartani ever be free of sexual behavior lifespan of 12 years to 26 years, with the majority age of 20 years (25%). Characteristics of free sex through exposure on TV media majority are at no risk category (55%), whereas the risk of exposure to teenage promiscuity through TV media as much as 45%. Characteristics of adolescents ever accessing pornography through the Internet as much as 45 teenagers or 56.3%. In conclusions, there was signiﬁ cant relationship between TV exposure and accessing pornography on the Internet toward adolescents premarital sexual behavior in the Wedomartani village of Sleman.

Abstract:

The services and incentives provided by social policies significantly affect teenage pregnancy and childbearing outcomes. Policies that offer tangible family-planning services and that improve access to and affordability of abortion have stronger, more consistent effects on teenage sexual behavior than do those that focus on changing personal attitudes and values. Higher welfare benefits may provide an incentive for pregnant teenagers to forgo marriage. Policies that improve teenagers' educational and earnings opportunities appear to contribute indirectly toward reducing teenage pregnancy and childbearing. This effect likely arises because better economic prospects lead teenagers to believe that they have something to lose by becoming parents, thus motivating them to defer having children.

Abstract:

Research on the dating behavior of teens at boarding houses in Ruteng City consists of two parts - research on high school teenagers and college’s students teenagers. This report focuses on the results of research to students living at boarding houses. This study was designed to describe the dating behavior of teenage boarders in the Ruteng, Manggarai Regency. Sexual dating behavior that drives this research is about emerging forms of thinking about sexual drive for couples. Various forms, such as holding hands, hugging, kissing, touching sensitive body parts, and sexual intercourses. Based on this concept, dating behavior is grouped into 4 activities, dating, necking, petting, and intercourses. Getting data, the team used survey by quantitative approach. Data collection techniques consisted of questionnaires, interviews, and observations. Questions related to student dating behaviors. Questionnaire was supported by interview and observation. The total participants were 320 students who were dating in Ruteng. From the total and 95% confidence level, the team determined margin of error totally 5.3%. Data were analyzed by descriptive statistical techniques and non-parametric statistics. Descriptive statistics were used to describe the condition of participants in terms of age, circumstances, and semester level. Non-parametric statistics were used to assess the significance of the relationship between age, circumstances, and semester variables for dating safety. Some of them have even been prominent in sexual relations. These facts were caused by unregulated environments. In Ruteng, the boarding houses do not have a construction permit because they do not have local regulations from the Manggarai regency government. This confirms the owner's mentality that is oriented to money and ignore the rules, do not limit male and female relations of boarders, and the desire of teenagers to make boarding as a safe dating place. The results of this study are expected to be a reference for local governments to issue local regulations.

Introduction: The digital era of information requires teenagers to find information via the internet where easy internet access is not without risks. Coupled with a great sense of curiosity in teenagers, it will encourage them to open pornographic sites when they are overwhelmed by feelings of loneliness and boredom with complicated conditions in the family or incompatibility in friendship. Aim of study: This article aims to discuss the antecedents of internet pornography behavior and premarital sexual behavior among adolescents. Method: The research method is to use literature study techniques on 25 articles from the Google Scholar and Proquest databases. Results and Discussion: The literature study shows that addiction to internet pornography can lead to deviant behavior such as premarital sexual behavior. Premarital sexual behavior in adolescents can occur when adolescents want to try what they see on pornographic sites to be practiced on their friends of the opposite sex or to their partners. The situation in which premarital sexual behavior is a trend among adolescents will ultimately create social disease in the society which has an impact on the mental damage of the nation's future generations. Conclusion: The conclusion from this literature study is that premarital sexual behavior in adolescents will increase the incidence of sexually transmitted diseases such as HIV / AIDS. So it is hoped that health workers, the community, and related parties will get the same understanding considering that adolescents are very vulnerable to the negative influence of the internet without neglecting its positive effects on adolescent psychosocial development and academic achievement.

Abstract:

Nowadays, sex among teenagers is not taboo. Sexual behavior among adolescents tends to increase, especially unmarried adolescents. In the24 countries in North America and Europe show that adolescent sexual behavior begins at the age of 15. The survey was conducted to 33,943 in 24 countries carried out by a French Non-Governmental Organization (NGO), showing that 13.2% of adolescents have been sexually active since the age of 15 and do not use contraceptives. Meanwhile, 82% use contraception.The purpose of this study was whether there was a relationship between knowledge and sexual behavior in adolescents at SMK MJPS 1 Tasikmalaya city. This research method is descriptive analytic with cross-sectional correlation approach. Samples taken in this study were students of class X-XII teenagers at SMK MJPS 1 Tasikmalaya city by using the sampling technique used was random sampling. The results of the respondent's data taken were 89 people. From the data obtained, students with sufficient knowledge amounted to 60 people or (67.4%) and a small number of students with less knowledge amounted to 7 people (7.9%) with less behavior amounted to 37 people or (41.6%) and good behavior amounted to 24 people or (27%). Statistical test results obtainedx²= 15.922, p-value 0.003 <0.05 means that there is a relationship between knowledge and sexual behavior in adolescents at SMK MJPS 1 Kota Tasikmalaya. Based on the results of the study, there is a need for education and counseling for adolescents by the local health center regarding the impact of sexual behavior on adolescents.
