Abstract:
The first part of the work is aimed to the study of changes of electrical properties of substituted phthalocyanines under the influence of humidity. Thin films were prepared by spin coating technique. During the influenece of humidity electrical conductivity increases. Sorption and desorption and the changes in electrical properties under the repated humidity exposure were investigated as well. Impedance spectroscopy was used for the studies. The second part of this work consists of optical studies and changes of optical parametrsunder the influence of different alcohols (methanol, ethanol, 2-propanol) exposures. The investigated samples were prepared by vacuum evaporation a glow-discharge-induced sublimation. The changes of optical reflectances of the films upon exposure to alcoholvapour-containg atmospheres were studied as a function of alcohol concetration and exposure time.

Abstract:
Title of dissertation: Study of links between biogenic VOC emissions and concentration of tropospheric ozone Kateřina Zemánková, 2010 Dissertation directed by: doc. RNDr. Josef Brechler, CSc. Dept. of Meteorology and Environment Protection, Faculty of Mathematics and Physics, Charles University in Prague Presented work focuses on influence of volatile organic compounds from biogenic sources on concentration of tropospheric ozone. Volatile organic compounds (VOC) play an important role in the tropospheric chemical system. Together with oxides of nitrogen they form two major components of reactions leading to low-level ozone formation. Volatile organic compounds are emitted into the atmosphere from an- thropogenic as well as from biogenic sources. In global, VOCs from natural sources are approximately ten times higher in magnitude than those of anthropogenic origin. Biogenic VOCs are emitted from various sources among which the forest ecosystems predominate. Group of VOCs of natural origin comprises wide range of chemical com- pounds. Those emitted in highest concentrations are isoprene and group of monoter- penes. Emissions of biogenic VOCs from the area of the Czech Republic have been es- timated based on the high resolution land cover data giving detailed information of sigle tree species...

Abstract:
This thesis deals with the quality of the internal environment of wooden buildings, especially the quality of the indoor environment interior loaded VOC emissions. The main goal of this work is to analyze the influence of relative humidity constructions on the quality of the indoor environment in the region Mountains. As assessed buildings were elected four wooden buildings, one of which is a frame structure, the second is half-timbered, and the other two are made with timber construction.Sampling methodology VOC emissions from the interior of the investigation based on the standard DIN EN ISO 16000 1 and 5. Sampling polluted indoor air was performed using a membrane pump Gilian LFS - 113DC, the collected air samples were collected in metal sorption tubes that are filled with TENAX TA sorbent. Indoor Environmental Quality assessed based constructions of wood was monitored during one calendar year, with the influence of the season on emissions of VOC(Fall, Winter, Spring ).Part of this work was to also assess the impact of age of the building and its material composition on the emission of volatile organic compounds assessed based constructions of wood.Detected concentrations of VOCs elected representatives were subsequently compared with the limit concentration by the Ministry of Health Decree No. 6/2003 Coll. , Laying down the health limits of chemical, physical and biological indicators of residential rooms inside certain buildings.
