Abstract:
This study specifically aimed to determine the effectiveness of the contextual teaching learning model and the community technology science model on student learning outcomes in the diffusion of educational innovation subject. The method of data collection used was experiment by using test, documentation, interview and observation. The result of the study showed that the average score of the student learning outcome that used learning technology model of community science was higher than the result of student learning outcome that used contextual teaching learning model. This was because the community technology science model helped students better understand the material related to problems found in real life so that students became active in the learning process. In conclusion, the model of community technology science learning was more effective in improving student learning outcomes in the diffusion of educational innovation courses

Abstrak: Konvergensi Kecocokan Teknologi dengan Kebutuhan Konsumen dan Fungsionalitas Layanan Mobile Broadband terhadap Perilaku Use Diffusion. Kesesuaian teknologi jaringan seluler dan perangkat dengan kebutuhan pengguna menentukan penggunaan dan membentuk perilaku penggunaan. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menganalisis interaksi antara kebutuhan teknologi fit dan perilaku penggunaan layanan broadband. Data diperoleh melalui survei di wilayah Jakarta. Sampel yang dikumpulkan dari 258 responden adalah pengguna layanan seluler prabayar dan pascabayar dari lima operator di Indonesia. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling dan metode analisis data menggunakan Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). Hasil penelitian menghasilkan (1) NTF berpengaruh positif terhadap perilaku difusi penggunaan (intensitas dan variasi dalam penggunaan) (2) TFF berpengaruh positif terhadap perilaku penggunaan, (3) Intensitas penggunaan berpengaruh positif pada NTF dan TFF, (4) Variasi dalam penggunaan berpengaruh positif pada NTF dan TFF, (5) NTF, TFF saling mempengaruhi secara positif dengan intensitas penggunaan dan variasi penggunaan. Penelitian lebih lanjut direkomendasikan untuk meningkatkan perilaku pengguna dari perspektif pemain industri telekomunikasi lainnya seperti pengembang konten dan aplikasi serta produsen perangkat.Kata kunci: Kesesuaian Teknologi, Kebutuhan, Perangkat, layanan mobile broadband, Perilaku penggunaan

Abstract:
ABSTRACT IPTEKS-based community service has been done with the Entrepreneurship and Workshop unit of MAN Purbalingga. The objectives of the activities were (1) Transferring of soap making technology to produce natural soap-base; (2) Transferring of cold-process and hot-process methods for the creation of soap-souvenirs with various shapes and colors; and (3) Transferring the packaging knowledge for souvenir soap products. The methods applied include student education, training, and the diffusion of science and technology to produce souvenir soap. The post-test results showed that there was an increased knowledge of the partners on saponification reactions (0% to 50%), soap making principles (0% to 54.2%), as well as the understanding of raw materials, additives, and soap-making equipment. The three main factors that could encourage the partners to make soap were an eagerness on how to make soap (70.8%); business opportunity (62.5%), and wanted to make soap creations (29.1%). This community service activity was expected to provide benefits in the form of partnership ability to produce souvenir soap made from natural ingredients with various shapes and colors. <p>ABSTRAK</p><p>Akselerasi adopsi teknologi pengelolaan kelapa terpadu merupakankegiatan yang dilakukan untuk mempercepat diseminasi teknologi danmengevaluasi model yang telah dikembangkan oleh Balitka di DesaKaleosan, Kabupaten Minahasa Utara pada tahun 2004-2006.Pengumpulan data menggunakan metode survei dan dilaksanakan padabulan November 2006. Data yang dikumpulkan meliputi karakteristikpetani, tingkat penerapan teknologi, serta usahatani. Penelitian inibertujuan untuk memperoleh informasi (1) tingkat adopsi dan difusiteknologi anjuran, (2) dampak teknologi terhadap pendapatan petani, dan(3) keberlanjutan organisasi kelompok tani. Hasil penelitian menunjukkanbahwa tingkat adopsi dan difusi teknologi pembibitan kelapa dan tanamansela jagung direspon cukup baik, dengan kisaran tingkat adopsi dan difusiteknologi sebesar 57,33-70,33. Kegiatan integrasi kelapa dengan ternakbabi serta pengolahan VCO tidak terjadi proses difusi, walaupun tingkatadopsi pada kelompok tani cukup tinggi dengan kisaran 60,00 – 85,33.Dampak ekonomi dari penerapan teknologi anjuran tanaman sela danpengaruhnya terhadap produktivitas kelapa menunjukkan dampak yangpositif, dengan nilai kelayakan finansial BCR dan MBCR >1. The research used survey method and wasconducted in November 2006. The data collected included farmers’characteristic, level of technology implementation, and farming systemanalysis. The purpose of this research was to gather information about (1)adoption and diffusion level of recommended technology, (2) impact oftechnology toward farmers’ income, (3) and the continuation of farmers’organization. The research result showed that the adoption stage ofcoconut seedling technology and corn intercropping was responded fairlywith the adoption stage and technologi diffusion of 57.33 – 70.33. Thediffusion process did not happen in the activity of coconut integration withpig cattle and VCO processing, eventhough the adoption stage of farmersgroup was relatively high, about 60.00 – 85.33. Economic impact ofrecommended intercropping technology application and the effect oncoconut productivity showed a positive result, with the BCR and MBCRvalues of > 1. Abstract:
The adoption of information technology represents a problem of magnitude to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Situation that they are facing is different from larger corporations, making technology adoption behavior different from them. This study surveys the acceptance of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) at Sidoarjo East Java to the adoption of internet technology. Using a portion of Rogers' model and uncertainty attribute of innovation diffusion as the framework and treating internet technology as a form of new innovation, we analyze factors affecting internet technology adoption.A multiple regression analysis is carried out, with the five characteristics of innovation highlighted by Rogers and uncertainty attribute proposed by Frambach and Schillewaert to determine factors that affect the willingness to adopt. Of the six factors affecting adoption of Internet technology by SMEs, only trialability appear unsignificant, with the overall regression explaining around 60, 7% of willingness to adopt. Relative advantage attribute bring the most contribution in explanation willingness to adopt by SMEs about 35,5%.

Wearable technology adalah teknologi yang dikenakan oleh penggunanya dan dilengkapi dengan sensor untuk menangkap data sehingga dapat diolah dan disajikan menjadi infomasi yang bermanfaat bagi penggunanya. Kajian tentang adopsi masyarakat terhadap wearable device ini perlu dilakukan untuk menyusun strategi dalam mempercepat adoption rate di masyarakat. Adopsi pada inovasi dan teknologi ini dikaji dengan Technology Acceptance Model (Davis 1986) dan Innovation Diffusion Theory (Rogers 1983). Bagaimana variabel compatibilty, visibility, image, result demonstrability, dan voluntariness, serta variabel perceived ease of use dan perceived usefulness, terhadap variabel adoption intention perlu dikaji lebih dalam. Kuesioner disebar pada 218 responden dan dianalisis menggunakan structural equation model (SEM). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa compatibility memiliki peran dominan terhadap perceived usefulness, diikuti result demonstrability, visibility, image dan voluntariness. Variabel perceived ease of use tidak memiliki pengaruh terhadap perceived usefulness, namun berpengaruh langsung terhadap niat seseorang untuk menggunakan wearable technology. Gender tidak memoderasi pengaruh variabel perceived ease of use dan perceived usefulness terhadap niat seseorang untuk mengadopsi wearable technology. Pengembang dan peritel produk wearable technology dapat mengetahui bahwa motivasi seseorang dalam mengadopsi teknologi tersebut dipengaruhi secara langsung oleh faktor perceived ease of use dan perceived usefulness, serta secara tidak langsung oleh faktor compatibility, result demonstrability, visibility, image, dan voluntariness.

Namun dalam pelaksanaannya masih banyak permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh user baik yang bersifat teknis maupun non teknis. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan evaluasi terhadap penerapan PPDB Online guna mengetahui seberapa baik sistem informasi dapat beroperasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi pelaksanaan PPDB Online menggunakan Innovation and Diffusion Theory (IDT). Terdapat lima karakteristik yang digunakan sebagai kerangka umum faktor penentu diterimanya sebuah inovasi yaitu relative advantage, compatibility, complexity, trialability, and observability. Berdasarkan analisis yang dilakukan diperoleh informasi bahwa dengan adanya penerapan teknologi informasi PPDB online menjadikan proses pendaftaran dalam menyaring nilai lebih transparan dan terpusat. Namun dalam menerapkan sistem informasi tersebut belum sepenuhnya berjalan dengan baik, masih ada berbagai kendala yang dihadapi di antaranya infrastruktur jaringan internet yang kurang memadai, kurangnya pengenalan dan pelatihan secara insentif dan kurang memperhatikan kebutuhan penggunaan terhadap sistem tersebut.

Cloud-computing technology present as an impact of the changing cultural environment and competitive ecosystem of Higher Education in the world, including Indonesia. Cloud computing is actually a combination use of computer technology ("computing") and the development of Internet-based ('cloud'). Higher education is considered ideal for the diffusion of innovation because they have a core that can encourage innovation and there are frequently changes in faculty or department’s level, pedagogical and technological. This study pointed out a uniqueness where lecturers (digital immigrant) and students (digital native) could collaborate in realtime by adopting cloud-computing technology, namely Google's Google Apps for Education (GAFE), in the learning system. Diffusion-innovation theory of Rogers will be in depth elaborated to explain the process of adoption of new kind of communication technologies which is currently becoming trendsetter. This type of study is qualitative descriptive with grounded theory method involving several universities in Central Java that are already using GAFE technology during the last three years, i.e. UNNES, UDINUS, and UNISSULA. This study used purposive sampling with total sample of 12 people who are lecturers and students, GAFE active users in learning system. The results showed lecturers especially junior lecturers have a central role as a facilitator of learning technologies in deciding what to use. Common interest is the main reason behind. Though lecturers and students came from different generation but both of them adopted GAFE

 ABSTRAK
 Teknologi komputasi awan atau sering dikenal dengan cloud computing hadir sebagai sebuah dampak perubahan lingkungan budaya dan ekosistem yang kompetitif pada Pendidikan Tinggi di dunia, termasuk Indonesia. Cloud computing ini sejatinya merupakan gabungan pemanfaatan teknologi komputer (‘komputasi’) dan pengembangan berbasis Internet (‘awan’). Pendidikan tinggi dianggap sangat ideal untuk difusi inovasi karena mereka memiliki jantung yang bisa mendorong inovasi dan selalu ada perubahan baik di level fakultas atau jurusan, pedagogis serta teknologi. Studi ini akan mengangkat keunikan dimana dosen (digital immigrant) dan mahasiswa (digital native) dapat berkolaborasi secara realtime dengan mengadopsi teknologi cloud computing milik Google yaitu Google Apps for Education (GAFE) dalam sistem pembelajaran. Teori difusi inovasi milik Rogers akan dielaborasi secara mendalam untuk menjelaskan proses adopsi teknologi komunikasi jenis baru yang sekarang tengah menjadi trendsetter ini. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan metode grounded yang melibatkan beberapa Perguruan Tinggi di Jawa Tengah yang sudah menggunakan teknologi GAFE selama tiga tahun terakhir, yaitu UNNES, UDINUS, dan UNISSULA. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 12 orang yang merupakan dosen dan mahasiswa pengguna aktif GAFE dalam sistem pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan dosen terutama dosen junior memiliki peranan sentra sebagai fasilitator dalam memutuskan teknologi pembelajaran apa yang akan digunakan. Kesamaan kepentinganlah yang menjadi faktor utama mengapa walaupun berbeda generasi, namun dosen dan mahasiswa bisa mengadopsi GAFE.

Tulisan ini merupakan hasil penelitian terkait gambaran penerimaan teknologi yang diterapkan pada demfarm oleh pengguna dilihat dari tingkat adopsi teknologi yang diintroduksi oleh kelompok penerima program demfarm. Penelitian dilakukan menggunakan pendekatan analisis kebijakan. Teknologi yang dievaluasi adalah teknologi yang diperkenalkan pada demfarm budidaya udang di kolam tambak secara intensif. Verifikasi lapang ke lokasi percontohan di wilayah Kabupaten Karawang, Jawa Barat dilakukan pada bulan Mei 2014. Analisis dan interpretasi data dilakukan secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa petambak penerima program dapat mengadopsi sebesar 92% darikeseluruhan teknologi yang dianjurkan pada usaha budidaya udang secara intensif. Teknologi yang diterapkan pada demfarm ini belum diadopsi oleh petambak di sekitarnya, sehingga belum terjadi difusi teknologi budidaya udang vaname yang dilaksanakan melalui demfarm. Alasan utama yang dikemukakan oleh para petambak disekitar area demfarm adalah keterbatasan modal dan pembiayaan usaha untuk pelaksanaan operasional budidaya udang vaname di kolam tambak yang mereka miliki, mengingat berdasarkan hasil penghitungan untuk biaya pembukaan tambak udang yang ada di sekitar lokasi demfarm cukup mahal yaitu mencapai Rp.750 juta per hektar.Title: Adoption Rate of Tiger Prawn Cultured on Brackiswater Fish PondThis paper is an overview of the research results related to the extent of acceptance of the technology applied to demfarm by the user, in terms of the rate of adoption of technology is being introduced by the receiver group demfarm program. The study was conducted using a policy analysisapproach. Technology being evaluated is a technology that was introduced in demfarm shrimp farming in an intensive pond. Field verification to the pilot sites in Karawang regency, West Java, conducted in May 2014. Analysis and interpretation of the data was done descriptively. The results showed that farmers can adopt a program recipient of 92% of the overall technology that is recommended in intensive shrimp farming. The technology applied to this demfarm not been adopted by farmers in the vicinity, so it has not happened shrimp farming technology diffusion vaname implemented through demfarm. The main reason put forward by the farmers around the area demfarm is limited capital and business financing for the operational implementation of shrimp culture ponds vaname at their disposal, given based on the results of the calculation for the cost of the opening of shrimp ponds in the vicinity of demfarm quite expensive, reaching Rp. 750 million per hectare.

This research aims to produce video of knowledge capture for Educational Innovation Diffusion courses in Educational Technology, Universitas Negeri Jakarta. The development of this video is expected can be learning resources for student of Educational Technology. Development of Knowledge Capture Video uses the Model Video Nonlinear by Pustekkom, this model has 3 major stages and sub stages at each stages. This research involves three trials protester, consist of expert review, one to one, and small group. The development of knowledge capture video involves two expert review (review expert matter and media expert). Formative evaluation conducted by researchers refer to a survey web bali state university of Jakarta and uses a likert scale (1-4). Average result from expert review 3,85, One on one 3,28, and small group 3,42. Based on the result of these data, reseacrcher conclude that video knowledge capture worth to use as a source of learning.

Abstract:
During the years 2004-2014, the manufacturing sector within the EU countries witnessed an increase in the utilization of industrial robots, where robot density per worker approximately doubled. Considering that this is a rather recent event, studies investigating how much industrial robots impact labour productivity are still rare. At the same time, one of EU’s outspoken goals is that of working to foster productivity and economic convergence between the member states. Given the above premises, we have investigated the relation between the adoption rate of industrial robotics within the EU and its effect on labour productivity. Secondly, we have made a predictive convergence model, in terms of labour productivity. We have collected data from several sources, including the Industrial Federation of Robotics and EU KLMS, in order to build a dataset for our quantitative analysis. We have then used statistical methods such as multiple regressions and 3 stage least square analysis (3sls) to estimate our system of interdependent equations model. The results show that implementation of industrial robotics in the manufacturing sector is a driver of labour productivity. The model finally predicts upward labour productivity divergence between the member states in the years 2015-2025, assuming that the determining factors of labour productivity grow at the same pace in our forecast period as in our data sample.<br>Under åren 2004-2014 fördubblades i genomsnitt antalet industrirobotar per arbetare i tillverkningsindustrin inom EU. Eftersom detta fenomen är relativt nytt, är studier som undersöker industrirobotars påverkan på arbetarproduktivitet fortfarande sällsynta. Samtidigt är ett av EU:s uttalade mål att arbeta för att främja konvergens mellan medlemsländerna inom produktivitet och andra ekonomiska mått. Med ovanstående förutsättningar har vi undersökt förhållandet mellan ökad användning av industriell robotik inom EU och dess effekt på arbetskraftsproduktiviteten. För att bygga en model för vår kvantitativa analys har vi samlat in data från flera källor, inklusive Industrial Federation of Robotics och EU KLMS. Vi har sedan använt statistiska metoder såsom multipel regression och 3-stegs minsta kvadratanalys (3sls) för att estimera vårt system av ekvationer. Resultaten visar att ökad användning av industriell robotik i tillverkningssektorn driver ökad arbetskraftsproduktivitet. Considerato che questo è un fenomeno abbastanza recente, gli studi che investigano quanto i robot industriali influiscono sulla produttività lavorativa sono ancora rari. Allo stesso tempo, uno degli obiettivi dichiarati dall’Unione europea è quello di stimolare la convergenza economica tra gli stati membri. Date queste premesse, abbiamo studiato la relazione tra il tasso di adozione dei robot industrali nell’Unione europea e il suo effetto sulla produttività del lavoro. Inoltre, abbiamo sviluppato un modello di previsione della convergenza in termini di produttività lavorativa. Abbiamo raccolto i dati da diverse fonti, tra cui la federazione industriale della robotica ed EU KLEMS, in modo da costruire un dataset per la nostra analisi quantitativa. In seguito abbiamo usato dei metodi statistici come la regressione multipla e la l’analisi dei minimi quadrati a tre stadi (3sls) per testare il nostro sistema di equazioni indipendenti. I risultati mostrano che l’implementazione dei robot industriali nel settore manifatturiero è un elemento motore della produttività lavorativa. Infine, il modello prevede una divergenza della produttività tra i Paesi membri negli anni 2015-2025, assumendo che i fattori determinanti della produttività crescano allo stesso modo nel periodo della previsione rispetto al periodo del nostro campione.

Teknologiers transformativa förmågor har stor potential att bidra till förändring som gynnar samhällen, miljön och mänskligt välbefinnande. Världen står idag inför många stora utmaningar som klimatförändringar och omfattande digitala förändringar. Investerare påverkar vilka teknologier som formar våra samhällen, och uppdragsdrivna aktörer, snarare än endast vinstdrivna, kan påverka framtida paradigmskiften. Trots ett ökat intresse för området ”transformativa teknologier” saknas konsensus kring grundläggande egenskaper och vad begreppet inbegriper. Avsaknaden av definierande egenskaper resulterar i att begreppet löper risk att urvattnas, vilket vidare medför negativa effekter kopplade till beslutsfattares avsaknad av praxis för att utvärdera transformativa förmågor hos teknologier. Beslutsfattare kan hjälpas av ett tydligare definierat begrepp och genom applicerbara metoder kan beslutsfattare hjälpas nå sina mål. Befintliga metoder för utvärdering av ansvarsfulla investeringar som ESG och Impact investing är inte fokuserade på teknologier och därtill finns begränsningar som gör de mindre tillämpbara i fall där transformativa teknologier är relevant. Studien bidrar till en ökad förståelse för begreppet och tillhandahåller metoder för utvärdering genom att analysera transformativa egenskaper i Industrifondens portföljbolag inom området transformativ teknologi. Det empiriska underlaget utgörs av 12 portföljbolag. Studien visar på tre dimensioner av transformativa egenskaper, value changes, mimicry och diffusion, samt bidrar med förståelse kring dess innebörd. Vidare visar studien på återkommande mönster i termer av transformativa egenskaper. Utöver bidraget kopplat till en ökad förståelse inom området ger studien förslag på hur dessa teknologier kan utvärderas samt hur utvärderingsmetoder kan tillämpas vid investeringsstrategier.<br>The transformative capabilities of technologies have great potential contributing to change that benefits society, the environment and human well-being. The world faces many grand challenges today, such as climate change and extensive digital change. Investors affect which technologies shaping our societies and organizations that are mission-driven, rather than entirely profit-driven, can affect the paradigm shifts that are to come. Despite an increased interest in the field of “transformative technologies”, there is a lack of consensus on basic characteristics and what the term entails. The lack of defining characteristics results in a risk of the term being diluted, which further has negative effects linked to decision-makers’ lack of approaches to evaluate transformative abilities in technologies. Decision-makers can be helped by a more defined concept, and through applicable methods, decision-makers can be helped to achieve their goals. Existing methods for evaluation of so-called “responsible investments” such as ESG and Impact investing are not focused on transformative capabilities of technologies. Furthermore, some limitations make them less applicable in cases where transformative technologies are relevant. The study contributes to an increased understanding of the concept and provides methods for evaluation by analyzing transformative capacities in Industrifonden's portfolio companies in the field of transformative technology. The empirical basis consists of 12 portfolio companies. The study highlights three dimensions of characteristics for transformative technologies, value changes, mimicry and diffusion, and contributes to an understanding of their meaning. Furthermore, the study shows recurring patterns in terms of transformative characteristics. In addition to the contribution linked to an increased understanding in the area, the study provides suggestions on how these technologies can be evaluated and how evaluation methods can be applied to investment strategies.

The Swedish company ThermoGaia AB has sole sales rights in the Nordic region for ThermoShield® brand, which the company markets under its own brand Termoskydd. The paint is marketed with properties such as energy savings by heat reflection and solves moisture problems because the paint can both be diffusion open or closed due to climatic conditions and function like a variable vapor barrier. These unique features come from a combination of a special binder with ceramic beads. The unique properties of the color at varying humidity conditions are in particular of interest to study and evaluate, which is also the purpose of the this study. By experimentally creating two different closed climates with differentiated relative humidity between both sides of a material, concentration differences will occur in the prevailing vapor concentrations provided that constant temperature prevails. Variations in vapor levels create pressure differences that become the driving force of the moisture transport that takes place in the form of diffusion that occurs onedimensional. The method used in the study is a modified version of the standardized cup method. Periodic measurements of weight differences continued until stationary conditions were reached. The collected measurement data is then used to calculate the water vapor migration. The result of the study shows that the color has the ability to have a lower resistance if the surrounding climate has low relative humidity, the greater the concentration difference between the vapors. When the surrounding climate instead has a high relative humidity, the color showed a higher resistance when the greatest concentration difference occurs. The study's conclusion from the problem formulation is that the causal relationship between the relative humidity and water vapor migration for the color tends to change the resistance, depending on the vapor content of ambient air, provided that stationary conditions prevail.

Quick Response eller QR är en teknik som tillåter snabb och pålitlig optisk läsning av information som är kodad i ett rutmönster. Som läsverktyg kan man använda läsare som är speciellt tillverkade för ändamålet och numera också vanliga smartphones. Tekniken har i flera år varit framgångsrik i vissa industriella applikationer såsom lagerhållning, men det är fortfarande osäkert i vilken utsträckning den också kan vinna insteg i vardagligt användande av smartphones. Vi har genomfört en enkätundersökning bland universitetsstudenter för att uppskatta hur spridd användningen av QR-koder är och hur denna användning ser ut. För att analysera resultatet har vi använt oss av teorin om diffusion of innovations som tillhandahåller en modell för spridning av ny teknik inom ett sammanhang. Resultaten antyder försiktigtvis att kännedom om tekniken är väl spridd, men att användandet är begränsat och att det beror på brist på upplevd nytta snarare än på att tekniken skulle vara otillgänglig eller svårhanterlig.<br>Quick Response or QR is a technology allowing fast and reliable optical reading of information encoded in a pattern of black and white squares. Reading implements include devices designed especially for this purpose as well as, in recent years, ordinary smartphones. The technology has for some time been successful in industrial applications such as storage management, but it is uncertain to what degree it might also see widespread use in everyday use of smartphones. We conduct a questionnaire-based survey targeting university students in order to estimate the extent and nature of QR usage. In analysing our findings we make use of the theory of diffusion of innovations, which provides a model for the adoption of a new technology within a given context. Our results imply that knowledge of the technology is widely dispersed, but that actual use is limited and that this is due to a lack of perceived usefulness rather than the technology as such being inaccessible or difficult to use.

I detta arbete har det simulerats partiklar som genomför slumpmässig diffusion och kolliderar med varandra vilket bildar kluster. Dessa kluster visar sig ha fraktala egenskaper. En känd modell för denna process är diffusion-limited aggregation (DLA). Partiklarna i DLA som genomför diffusion kan vandra fritt tills de träffar aggregatet. En ny modell introduceras där det införs oordning i form av orenheter som blockerar de diffunderande partiklarnas väg. Vi har studerat hur den fraktala dimensionen hos klustrena som bildas i den nya oordningsmodellen skiljer sig från den vanliga DLA-modellen, och undersökt hur den beror på tätheten av oordningarna. Vi har också undersökt hur en införd prefaktor till gyrationsradiens beroende av antalet partiklar påverkas av oordningstätheten. Resultatet från undersökningen visar på ett negativt, kvadratiskt beroende för den fraktala dimensionen på oordningdtätheten, samt en svag exponentiell ökning av prefaktorn med ökande oordningstätheten.<br>In this work a focus has been to simulate particles that undergo random diffusion and collide together, to create clusters. These clusters show fractal properties. A popular model for this process is Diffusion-limited aggregation (DLA). The diffusing particles in DLA can move freely until they hit the aggregate. A new model is presented where impurity-particles that block the path of the diffusing particles are introduced. We have investigated how the fractal dimension of the clusters that are produced in the new disorder model differs from the normal DLA model, and how the fractal dimension depends on the disorder density. We have also investigated how a prefactor in the radius-of-gyration to particle-number relation is affected by the disorder density. The results from the study show a negative, quadratic dependence of the fractal dimension on the disorder density, and a weak exponential increase in the prefactor with increasing disorder density.

Målet med rapporten har varit att att lokalisera källor till en emitterad substans med hjälp av en algoritm för inversdiffusion. Denna algoritm har gett lyckade resultat när den applicerats för biologisk detektering av celler och det har vidare föreslagits att körtiden skulle kunna reduceras avsevärt om algoritmen implementeras som en beräkningsgraf. Detta skulle automatisera beräkningar av gradienter och tillåta snabbare exekvering på en grafikprocessor. För algoritmens implementation användes TensorFlow, som primärt är ett programmeringsbibliotek inriktat mot maskininlärning. Datorgenererade testbilder av biologiska prover användes sedan för att utvärdera körresultatet med hjälp av mjukvara för bildanalys samt prestandamått. Jämförelser visar att implementationen i TensorFlow ger resultat som överensstämmer med den traditionella implementationen av samma algoritm. Sett ur ett bredare perspektiv visar detta på möjligheten att använda beräkningsgrafer för att lösa storskaliga optimeringsproblem och mer specifikt inversproblem.<br>The purpose of this project was to implement an inverse diffusion algorithm to locate the sources of an emitted substance. This algorithm has yielded successful results when applied to biological cell detection, and it has been suggested that the run time could be greatly reduced if adaptions for a computation graph framework are made. This would automate calculations of gradients and allow for faster execution on a graphics processing unit. The algorithm implementation was realized in TensorFlow, which is primarily a machine learning oriented programming library. Computer-generated biological test images were then used to evaluate the performance using regular image analysis software and accuracy metrics. Comparisons reveal that the TensorFlow implementation of the algorithm can match the accuracy metrics of traditional implementations of the same algorithm. Viewed in a broader scope this serves as an example to highlight the possibility of using computation graph frameworks to solve large scale optimization problems, and more specifically inverse problems.

Digitaliseringen påverkar alla delar av samhället och inte minst den finansiella sektorn. Enteknologi som förväntas ha stor påverkan på det finansiella systemet är blockkedjeteknologi.I denna undersökning kartläggs hur och i vilken utsträckning aktörer i den svenska finansiellasektorn arbetar med blockkedjeteknologi. Undersökningen görs utifrån Everett. M. Rogersberömda teorier om diffusion av innovation. Framförallt är det teorierna om beslutprocessenom innovation som analyseras men också andra element som kommunikationskanaler,förändringsbyråer och opinionsledare.I undersökningen har representanter från SEB, Bankgirot, Skatteverket och Riksbankenintervjuats kring hur deras organisation arbetar med blockkedjeteknologi och hur arbetet serut utifrån ett perspektiv om diffusion av innovation.Resultatet visar att alla aktörerna har någon form av blockkedjerelaterat projekt igång,antingen i form av egna experiment eller omvärldsbevakning. Den aktör som kommit längstär SEB och detta beror troligen på att de har störst resurser att tillgå. Aktörerna hämtarinformation och kunskap framförallt från de organisationer eller forskningsinitiativ respektiveaktör anses vara opinionsledare. De som anses vara opinionsledare är för de privata aktörernaglobala forskningsinitiativ bedrivna av aktörer med liknande verksamhet som de själva. Förde icke privata aktörerna anses andra aktörer med liknande verksamhet i andra länder varaopinionsledare. De privata aktörerna har i större utsträckning approcherats avförändringsbyråer, då främst med syfte att samarbeta med aktören.Bankgirot och Riksbankens arbete anses befinna sig i övertalningssteget (steg två) ibeslutsprocessen om innovation medans SEB och Skatteverkets arbete anses befinna sig ibeslutssteget (steg tre). Ingen av aktörerna har nått steg fyra och fem.I avsnittet vidare forskning föreslås en studie med ett större antal aktörer inom de undersöktakategorierna samt aktörer från fler kategorier. Utöver detta föreslås att undersökningen görsom inom förslagsvis fem år för att då jämföra resultaten i den studien med den aktuellaundersökningen.<br>The digitalization impact all parts of society and not least the financial sector. One technologythat is considered to have a large impact on the financial industry is blockchain technology.In this thesis, participants in the financial industry are examined with the purpose to examinetheir progress in implementing blockchain technology in their organization and how there areworking with the technology from a perspective of the Everett. M. Rogers theories ofDiffusion of Innovation. The Decision-Innovation Process and the organizations progresswith blockchain technology is particularly examined as well as concepts as communicationchannels, change agencies and opinion leaders.Representatives from SEB, Bankgirot, Skatteverket and Riksbanken have been interviewedabout their progress in implementing blockchain technology from a diffusion of innovationperspective.The result shows that all participants have some form of blockchain related project active,either in form of internal experiments or market intelligence. SEB has had the most progressin their work, probably because of their large resources. The participants mainly gatherknowledge from organizations or initiatives they consider to be opinion leaders. The opinionsleaders are for the private organizations considered to be research initiatives where theparticipating members businesses are similar to their own. For the public organizations, theopinion leaders seems to be other public organizations similar to their own. The publiccompanies have in larger extent been approached by change agencies, mainly with theintention to find a business partner for a collaboration.The progress of Bankgriot and Riksbanken are considered to be in the “persuasion stage”(stage two) while the progress of SEB and Skatteverket seems to be in the “decision stage”(stage three). None of the examined organizations progress has reached stage four or five.Future studies would include a larger number of participants from different parts of thefinancial sector. This study is proposed to be re-done in approximately five years to comparethe results.
