Full textThis study aimed to develop a computerized system of Continuing Education in Nursing (SIEC) in order to build minimum data and evaluate the data in the system, from the perspective of nurses specialists. This was an applied study, exploration and production technology. To develop the SIEC methodology was used based on the concept of the life cycle of prototyping. The SIEC was deposited into two phases: definition and development. The definition phase began with the planning stage, followed by definition and analysis of requirements for construction and culminated with the specification of system requirements. The development phase led to the set of requirements in a computerized information system. SIEC is presented in a minimum data set of the SEC with 435 data elements divided into seven categories: Professional, Teaching Activities, Organizational Structure, Institution, Scientific, Group Study and Evaluation. The construction of the minimum data set of SEC was performed by the selection of terms from the literature and practice of this service. With regard to assessment, stage of prototyping, the system underwent evaluation by means of administering a questionnaire to 07 nurses with specialist experience in teaching in the area of Nursing Administration and/or experience in the Service Continuing Education. The SIEC was positively evaluated by experts, who scored the relevance and priority of data elements over 71% [n = 5], mostly confirming the user\'s satisfaction with the content of the system, according to Brazilian Standard ISO/IEC 14598-1, indicating customer satisfaction when the product reaches the level of scores in the target range, in other words, a percentage less than 70%. However, 11 items were marked with a percentage of 57% [n = 4], which are: voter registration, insurance, mode, start date, end date, module, type, registration audit and value of training hours / student per day, Uniform Resource Locator (URL) and type of activity. This score shows the need for adequacy of the data elements to meet customer needs and service. It is concluded that the methodology adopted enabled the development of a computerized information system, from a minimum data set of the SEC, which enables the recording, organization, analysis and interpretation of data, with reporting, and can facilitate the monitoring and implementation of service improvements in both human resources and work processes within the care, teaching, research and management, bringing with them a language that meets the needs of its users.

Full textO processo de educação em saúde é um dos determinantes para a qualidade da atuação das equipes de atenção básica. A educação permanente, em especial, possibilita o aprendizado dinâmico a partir das demandas do cotidiano do trabalhador. Atualmente, a educação a distância é um dos meios pelos quais os profissionais podem se aprimorar, rompendo com incompatibilidades temporais e geográficas. Com este objetivo, foi instituído em 2007, pelo Ministério da Saúde, o Programa Telessaúde Brasil, que visa a educação permanente a distância dos profissionais da estratégia de saúde da família, sendo o Rio de Janeiro um dos núcleos do projeto piloto. Esta pesquisa teve como objetivos: a) Identificar e caracterizar, do ponto de vista sócio-demográfico, acadêmico e quanto ao uso de tecnologias de internet, os enfermeiros inseridos no Projeto Telessaúde Brasil núcleo Rio de Janeiro, segundo as regiões fluminenses; b) Identificar, categorizar e analisar as principais demandas de educação permanente apontadas pelos enfermeiros participantes no momento da adesão; c) Descrever e analisar a participação dos enfermeiros em atividades específicas. O Projeto possui duas atividades básicas: a teleconferência, funcionando de modo síncrono, em que o profissional tem a oportunidade de participar de aulas sobre temas de interesse com possibilidade de interação; e, a segunda opinião formativa que, de modo assíncrono possibilita ao trabalhador obter a opinião de um especialista sobre qualquer dúvida de seu cotidiano. A metodologia utilizada foi quantitativa, com desenho longitudinal e observacional, delineamento de pesquisa não experimental e caráter descritivo. Os dados foram obtidos entre os anos de 2009 e 2010 utilizando três fontes: formulários de Linha de base, registro de teleconferências e registros de perguntas e respostas de segunda opinião formativa. Os resultados indicam que o perfil do profissional fluminense é composto por trabalhadores do sexo feminino, jovens de formação recente, especialistas e com conhecimentos básicos sobre tecnologias de informação e comunicação. Verificou-se também que a maior parte das dúvidas do enfermeiro da ESF ainda é pautada em dúvidas clínicas, seguidos de dúvidas sobre implementação de atividades em educação permanente. Conclui-se pela viabilidade e importância deste tipo de atividade de educação permanente, em que pesem algumas contradições e dificuldades para o enfermeiro da atenção básica, que constituem-se em desafios a serem superados.
The education process is a determinant factor for the quality of service of health professionals. Permanent Education, particulary, enables dynamic learning from the daily demands of the professional. Currently, distance education is one means by which practitioners can improve, surpassing temporal and geographical incompatibilities. In this sense, it was established in 2007 by the Ministry of Health the Brazil Telehealth Program, which seeks to promote permanent distance education for professionals involved in the family health strategy, being Rio de Janeiro as one of the cores of the pilot project. This research aimed to: a) Identify and characterize, in terms of socio-demographic, academic, and on the use of Internet technologies, the nurses inserted into Telehealth Project Brazil Rio de Janeiro Nucleus, Rio de Janeiro according to region, b) To identify, categorize and analyze the permanent education demands pointed by the participants, c) Describe and analyze the participation of nurses in specific activities. The Project has two basic activities: the teleconference, working synchronously in wich the professional has the opportunity of attending classes about subjects there ar in accordance with the interaction possibility and, the second formative opinion, asynchronously working, giving the worker the possibility to obtain the opinion of an expert on any doubt in his everyday life. The methodology was based on a quantitative approach with longitudinal design and observational, not experimental research design and descriptive character. Data were collected between the years 2009 and 2010 and analyzed according to three sources of information: Baseline forms, teleconferences and formative second opinions. The results indicate that the professional profile of Rio de Janeiro is composed of female workers, young, recently trained, specialists and with basic knowledge on information technologies and communication. It was also found that most of the questions are still related to clinical issues, followed by questions about implementation of activities on continuing education. The conclusion shows the feasibility and importance of this type of continuing education activity, in spite of some contradictions and difficulties for nurses in primary care, which are challenges to be overcome.

Full textA educação a distância (EAD) é uma importante estratégia na realização de atividades de educação permanente em saúde. Contudo, as raízes pedagógicas de muitas destas práticas convergem para a reapresentação de uma educação tradicional e transmissora, sobretudo pela inexistência de momentos de interação social que possibilitem a troca e o compartilhamento de saberes. Neste sentido, os fóruns on line são considerados um importante recurso para promover um cenário interativo e estimular processos de construção compartilhada do conhecimento (CCC). Nesta pesquisa, defende-se a tese de que dentro da lógica dos processos de educação permanente em saúde, o fórum representa uma ferramenta interativa e possibilita a construção de saberes compartilhados. Assim, o objetivo geral é analisar os fóruns interativos como espaço de processos de ensino-aprendizagem entre enfermeiros da Estratégia de Saúde da Família em um curso de especialização em saúde da família a distância. Além disso, são objetivos específicos desta pesquisa: compreender a política e os projetos de educação permanente em saúde no Brasil; observar as interações sugestivas de processos de construção compartilhada do conhecimento entre alunos e tutores; analisar a percepção dos discentes do curso sobre o fórum interativo e as possíveis repercussões deste em sua prática profissional. A metodologia escolhidabaseia-se no estudo de caso. Na coleta de dados, foram utilizados questionários on line e análise dos fóruns temáticos das disciplinas do curso, segundo análise de suas redes sociais. Tal análise desdobrou-se na construção de três categorias: as relações comunicacionais e os processos interativos como essencialidades da CCC; a formação de grupos as redes sociais na EAD; o tutor como mediador do espaço virtual. Observou-se, neste estudo, que a construção das redes sociais dentro de uma turma de EAD obedece à mesma lógica daquelas construídas presencialmente, ou seja, é baseada na identificação com o grupo e na aceitação de ideias expostas por um determinado coletivo. Os tutores possuem papel essencial na formação das redes sociais e, também, no surgimento das relações dialógicas. As relações de cooperação dentro dos fóruns interativos indicam a existência de processos de CCC; contudo, assim como nas relações presenciais, é impossível dimensionar a influência e as consequências sociais destas construções na vida dos sujeitos. Conclui-se que o fórum possibilita a existência de relações comunicacionais, porém os desdobramentos interativos, bem como os processos de CCC, dependem, não só do instrumento utilizado, mas de outros fatores, como o estímulo do professor-tutor, a participação dos alunos e a criação de redes sociais cooperativas.
Distance learning (ODL) is an important strategy in conducting continuing education activities in health. However, the pedagogical roots of many of these practices converge to the representation of a traditional and transmitter education, especially due to the lack of social interaction moments allowing the exchange of knowledge. In this regard, on line forums are considered an important resource to promote an interactive scenario and stimulate the shared process of constructing knowledge through communication actions cooperatives. In this research we defend the thesis that within the logic of permanent education processes in health, the forum as a interactive tool of the Internet allows the construction of shared knowledge. Thus, the general objective is to analyze interactive forums as an area of teaching-learning processes between FHS nurses in a distance learning specialization course in family health. In addition, are specific objectives of this research: 1. Understand the policy and projects on permanent education in health in Brazil; 2. Observe interactions suggestive of shared construction of knowledge between students and tutors; 3. To analyze the perception of the course students on the interactive forum and its possible repercussions in their professional practice. The methodological approach chosen is based on case study where data collection used online questionnaires and analysis of thematic forums of course subjects, according to an analysis of their social networks.This analysis was divided in three categories: a) The communication relations and interactive processes as essentialities of Shared Knowledge Construction; b) Formation of groups - social networks in distance education; c) The tutor as a mediator of the virtual space. It was observed in this study that the construction of social networks within a distance education class follows the same logic of those built in person, that is, based on the identification with the group and acceptance of ideas exposed by a certain collective; Tutors have essential role in the formation of social networks and also the emergence of dialogical relations; The cooperation within the interactive forums indicate the existence of shared construction of knowledge, however, as well as in-person relationships, it is impossible to scale the influence and the social consequences of these constructions in subjects' lives. In conclusion, the forum, while interactive element, allows the existence of communication relationships, however the interactive developments and the processes of shared construction of knowledge depend also of other factors such as teacher-tutor incentive, student participation and the creation of cooperative social networks.

Full textThe adherence to therapy in people with mental illness is a major challenge for nurses. Ineffective management of therapeutic regimen and consequent non-adherence is a nursing problem reflecting suffering for people, as well as a high cost to the national health system. The specialist in Mental Health Nursing participate in the treatment of people with mental illness, and its interventions “aim to contribute to the adequacy of the responses of the sick person and family to face specific problems related to mental illness” (Colégio da Especialidade de Enfermagem de Saúde Mental e Psiquiátrica, 2010) being the adherence to therapy one of them and with the aim, among others, to avoid worsening the situation. The post-discharge telephone follow-up is a strategy designed to improve the adherence to therapy and in addition to the advantage of its speed and low economic cost, allows detecting doubt, conduct timely referral and evaluate the adherence to therapy, in this assignment through the Measure Treatment Adherence scale. It has been implemented a telephone follow-up intervention after which it was observed that adherence to therapy increased significantly. The aim of this report is to describe in a critical and reasoned manner, the route taken, listing the skills acquired and developed throughout the same. A theoretical foundation on the subject under study and a presentation of the theoretical framework – Hildegard Peplau – is performed. Then, an analysis of the accomplished route, indicating objectives, main activities and perceived difficulties is done. At the end, final considerations arise summarizing the work developed. This work is extremely important for my learning process and development of expertise, highlighting the capacity for self-knowledge and personal growth, which was developed throughout the route
