Abstract:
The article examines the specifics of the development of Telegram-channels in Russian regions as a whole, which is possible since in small towns they evolve in approximately the same way. However, the main focus of the study is the Republic of Mordovia. The outcomes include the presentation of specificity and characteristics of Telegram-channels, the definition of a news Telegram-channel. Based on the results of analysis, the author not only describes the advantages of these media in the regions but also the typical mistakes of the content creators. Despite the increasing number of channels, there is no reason to predict a massive growth of users due to Telegram’s orientation towards elitism and respectability of the target audience. The author also finds out that public attention is attracted more by texts belonging to the style of gonzo journalism and thrash writing than neutral ones.

Abstract:
The issue of spreading pro-Russian propaganda in the most popular telegram channels of Odesa region is considered in the paper. It is established that in scientific discourse there are practically no studies on this topic. The most studied problems are: the spread of propaganda in the Telegram by international terrorist groups (ISIS, Alkaida), as well as the blocking of this network in Russia and other authoritarian states. Meanwhile, monitoring of professional media organizations in Ukraine, both at the national and regional levels, has shown that the Telegram is very often used in order to spread pro-Russian messages. An algorithm for detecting pro-Russian messages in the Telegram was developed and the results of its work were demonstrated. The three most popular channels of Odesa region were monitored: “X… Odessa” (265 thousand subscribers), “Odessa Info” (191 thousand) and “Odessa as it is” (126 thousand) in the fall of 2021. Automatic content analysis and frame analysis are used as research methods. It is determined that the Telegram channel “X… Odessa” most often uses the frame “inconvenience”, telling locals about the obstacles experienced by citizens through reforms of decommunization and “language” law (1.07), while Russian aggression was exploited only in every second post – (0.52). Telegram channels “Odessa Info” and “Odessa as it is” wrote about Russian aggression more often – (1.46 and 0.79), and about “inconveniences” less often – (0.73; 0.64). It is suggested that in further research on the detection of propaganda, the greatest attention should be paid to posts where only the “inconvenience” frame occurs. Such texts were found in all three telegram channels. Two pro-Russian narratives were identified: the “separateness” of Odessa from Ukraine, and the “persecution” of Russian-speakers in Ukraine. It is determined that in further research the proposed algorithm for detecting pro-Russian propaganda can be used for Telegram channels of other regions, as well as for all-Ukrainian channels

Abstract:
Notary is an official authorized to make an authentic deed regarding all deeds, agreements and stipulations required by a general rule. Activities carried out at the notary office such as recording client data and file data still use traditional systems that tend to be manual. The problem that occurs is the inefficiency in data processing and providing information to clients. Clients have difficulty getting information related to the progress of documents that are being taken care of at the notary's office. The client must take the time to arrive to the notary's office repeatedly to check the progress of the work of the document file. The purpose of this study is to facilitate clients in obtaining information about the progress of the work in progress, and make it easier for employees to process incoming documents by implementing an administrative system. This system was developed with the waterfall system development method and uses the Multi-Channel Access Technology integrated in the website to simplify the process of delivering information and requesting information from clients and to clients with Telegram and SMS Gateway. Clients will come to the office only when there is a notification from the system via Telegram or SMS notifying that the client must come directly to the notary's office, thus leading to an efficient time and avoiding excessive transportation costs. The overall functional system can function properly based on the results of alpha testing. The results of beta testing conducted by distributing the system feasibility test questionnaire to end users, get a percentage of 96% of users agree the system is feasible to be implemented.

Abstract:
The present article is about Niqabi women belonging to the private Telegram instant messaging channel Orgullo Niqabi (Spanish for ‘Niqabi Pride’). More specifically, our main objective is to explain what they are demanding, how they articulate their demands through that channel, and why they use it for communicating and to organize their actions. Said demands are mainly linked to their recognition as autonomous and political individuals within the different contexts in which they find themselves. First, our analysis will focus on categorizing their social and political demands for being recognized, not only as Muslims, but also as autonomous, independent, and political beings. Second, we intend to explain how those demands, expressed in the virtual world, are articulated in specific actions in the different societies and social contexts in which these women live. To this end, this article analyzes, following the procedures of the Grounded Theory, the discourses obtained through 27 in depth interviews conducted in the first half of the year 2019. The strength of this research lies in overcoming the difficult access to these women and their discourses as well as in clarifying who they are, what they are demanding from the societies in which they live, how and why they are virtually grouped and the consequences of their virtual grouping in the different societies in which each of them lives.

Using the example of the publication in the regional electronic edition of the telegram channel of the regional administration, some factors affecting the perception and understanding of information concerning the health of schoolchildren and teachers are studied. An empirical characteristic of the change in understanding is given when the logic of constructing a message changes - the combination of substantive and procedural logic. Abstract:
Abstract The discoverability of reliable information online is difficult. As the network grows exponentially, unregulated content has the potential to cause harm. Telegram is a popular mainstream chat application. It allows automated software called bots that interact passively with an individual. Florence bot is unique in this space for the patient support; for those affected by brain tumours. It has been developed in PHP and hosted privately by the developer. Florence links to physician generated content (hosted externally on a blogging website) such as introduction, signs and symptoms of brain tumours and various treatment options along with their side effects. The content generates “web view” in Telegram itself, preserving written and multimedia formats. It ensures minimal overheads on the bot, making it responsive. It links to brain tumour channel (automated streamed information working as a public broadcast) and physician-administered support group. A physician designed bot is preferable to a third party mobile application to ensure the accurateness of information. No user-related information is available to bot developers as it does not have tracking and advertising elements; hence safeguards users privacy. It is more accessible and cheaper to deploy than a mobile application as it uses an instant messaging app as its container, which works across computing platforms. Florence bot is expected to bridge the gap for reliable information and real-time support independent of geographical limitations.

Abstract:
Youth remains one of the most active groups of Internet users. The purpose of the study is to identify the features of the use of various social networks, Internet channels and messengers in online political communication of young people from Russian megacities. The research paper presents the results of an online survey of this socio-demographic group conducted in January 2021 among roughly 1700 respondents from 17 Russian megacities as well as the results of an expert survey dated January 2021, namely, non-standardized expert interviews with 21 experts, including scholars, political technologists, government officials, members of political organizations and civil activists. Every fourth young respondent spends over 8 hours in the Internet space daily with about 43% of all young people spending from 4 to 8 hours. Social networks such as VKontakte (91.4%), Instagram (70.6%), YouTube Internet channel (74.9%), WhatsApp (66.4%) and Telegram (59.2%) are most in demand. The interest in Tik Tok is gradually growing (38.8%). Experts believe that the promising channel of online political communication with the aim of online political mobilization is the social network Clubhouse, which allows group voice chats and a strict selection of group members, but does not allow direct recording. Only every fourth representative of young people shows a high interest in the political situation. About 45% use Emoji to assess posts on a political topic, but only every fourth respondent gives comments and discusses political problems. Every fourth representative of young people does not take any political actions in the online space.

Abstract:
Currently, niqabi women are more and more visible, even in traditionally non-Muslim societies. However, there is a deep ignorance with regard to their worldview in general and about them in particular. The aim of this paper, which is based on a research carried out using the Grounded Theory, is to give answer to three fundamental questions: did niqabi women belonging to the Telegram channel Orgullo niqabi choose to become niqabis after experiencing some kind of crisis or existential unease? Has the grouping of these women in said channel contributed to the polarization of their posture on the niqab in some way? Additionally, if that is the case, has said polarization fueled or given rise to some ideology in particular? One of our conclusions, after conducting 27 in-depth interviews, is that most of these women opted for being niqabi and Muslim in response to the existential unease they experienced, which somehow kept them searching for some meaning in their lives. Another interesting aspect we have observed is that these women have reinforced their posture on the niqab, polarizing their perception in a fundamentalist way. Additionally, our third conclusion is that these women are cyber-fundamentalists, given that, besides the reactionary nature of their ideology, they construct it in a modern way.

Abstract:
The development of social networks, personalized assistants, chatbots, and computational algorithms makes the media think about new prospects. Users have long departed from the format of receiving information through one channel. Today, audiences consume content through a variety of channels, from paper noses to receiving data through eyepiece lenses. Under these conditions, journalism must experiment, because no one can predict the trajectory of further transformations of the media system. Bot programs have become indispensable assistants for media outlets. Chatbots are specially programmed computer programs that work according to a certain algorithm of actions. Nowadays, there are new types of bot programs - simple and smart. After all, with their help, you can quickly publish posts on social networks and messengers, search for the most popular topics, quickly answer questions from the audience, track the reaction to posts, and more. As well as smart programs can write journalistic material. And they work 24/7 and process a lot of information in seconds. Such bot programs provide additional tools for the media, which facilitate and optimize the work of journalists. The first bot programs were created in the 60-the 70s of the XX century. And in messengers chatbots were in the late '90s of the XX century - ICQ. But a significant impetus for the use and development of chatbots was the messenger Telegram, which has a whole bot farm. Such programs have prospects, so the editors of the leading media invest in the creation and training of such bots because they optimize the editorial process. In the study, we analyze the prospects of using media chatbots to disseminate and promote their materials and optimize editorial processes.

Abstract:
Brain–computer interfaces (BCI) are a type of assistive technology that uses the brain signals of users to establish a communication and control channel between them and an external device. BCI systems may be a suitable tool to restore communication skills in severely motor-disabled patients, as BCI do not rely on muscular control. The loss of communication is one of the most negative consequences reported by such patients. This paper presents a BCI system focused on the control of four mainstream messaging applications running in a smartphone: WhatsApp, Telegram, e-mail and short message service (SMS). The control of the BCI is achieved through the well-known visual P300 row-column paradigm (RCP), allowing the user to select control commands as well as spelling characters. For the control of the smartphone, the system sends synthesized voice commands that are interpreted by a virtual assistant running in the smartphone. Four tasks related to the four mentioned messaging services were tested with 15 healthy volunteers, most of whom were able to accomplish the tasks, which included sending free text e-mails to an address proposed by the subjects themselves. The online performance results obtained, as well as the results of subjective questionnaires, support the viability of the proposed system.

Abstract:
A classifier of QR-codes, which are used in light industry and are divided into static, dynamic, combined is developed in this work. Static QR codes can be digital, text or symbolic. Digital QR-codes are divided into subspecies: product code, product price, manufacturer code, date and other numerical designations. Text QR-codes are divided into subtypes: product name, product description, manufacturer and other text designations. Symbolic QR-codes are divided into subtypes: special symbols, formatting symbols and other marking symbols. Combined together, several types of QR codes form a combined code. Frequently static and dynamic QR codes are combined. Dynamic QR codes can only be combined. Based on the survey data, we can assume that the most important are the four main ways to use the QR-code are: “Outdoor advertising”, “Code on goods”, “Electronic ticket” and “Discount code”. Other ways to use a QR code, according to experts, have a much lower impact in terms of application. These include: “Invitation to social networks”, “Tourism”, “Banking”, “Company logo”, “Clothing and accessories”, “Tattoos”. This opinion of experts is typical only for Ukraine, because according to foreign studies, tattooing a QR-code on the human body is quite often met. Taking into account the results of the study, a label for products was made using a QR-code, which contains a link to the site TKSHV – Market. On the site it is possible to get acquainted in more detail with the products made at the department, to provide consumers with information about them. From the site it is possible to go to the Telegram-channel, where it is convenient to ask additional questions, see the process of creating a QR-code and more. It is also planned to create other channels on social networks, such as Instagram, Facebook, Viber. This will allow the consumer to use a more convenient social network.

The purpose of this paper is to explore teachers acceptance and readiness in using the cloud-based community as a platform for professional collaboration related to their teaching and learning. Familiarity with certain social networking platforms has made the preferable collaboration among teachers only limited to using Facebook, WhatsApp or Telegram. However, with time and space constraints in schools, some of the sharing sessions could not be done effectively most of the time. The study focuses on teachers acceptance and readiness of having their community in the cloud when they were introduced to the platform during a Continuous Professional Development (CPD) course. A total number of 61 teachers used Google Community named as Contemporary Childrens Literature (CCL) 2016 as a platform for their Professional Learning Community (PLC) during the course. Descriptive analysis was done using Google Sheets and the findings show that these teachers are receptive towards Google Community in terms of its engagement level, usefulness as well as ease of use. The introduction to Google Community has created a new pathway for their collaboration especially for teaching and learning purposes. In a nutshell, their acceptance towards the cloud-based community indicates that, given the right training channel, teachers are positive and opened to utilising and integrating the cloud-based technology in their current teaching practice.

Abstract:
Political telegram-channels play an important role in maintaining political decision making and shaping the public agenda in modern Russia. Both features of the messenger itself (convenience, a low barrier to entry, a short “shoulder” of communication) and the specifics of the political system of modern Russia together with the predominance of non-public policy have prompted political elites to use indirect communication and anonymous instruments of political struggle. Furthermore, political telegram-channels are in demand as an instrument of expert communication and reflection about the current political situation. The purpose of the research is to analyse the features of political and expert communication in telegram-channels in Russia. It is concluded that, despite the objective predominance of manipulative content, telegram-channels form a special expert ecosystem, a kind of “distributed think tank” which analyses Russian internal political and international agenda in real time. Experts and analytical centres use telegram-channels to communicate their position both to decision makers and the general public. The main problem with the use of telegram-channels as an expert network and “distributed think tank” is to distinguish between manipulative and expert components. A widespread phenomenon of “formative analytics” (manipulative content which pretends to be an expertise) take place in telegram-channels. To solve this problem, we offer analytical tools that require high professional skills in working with information from a researcher, as well as the use of the professional reputation of the sources within the real expert community.

Abstract This paper investigates the most-viewed posts in Persian Telegram channels during the period surrounding Iran’s 2017 presidential election. Telegram has become the most popular social medium in Iran, and its channels have played a significant role in recent social and political events. Based on the produsage theory and user-generated content concept, this research identifies the popular content and produsagers on Persian Telegram channels. Moreover, this paper evaluates the potential of these most-viewed posts to support or challenge the dominant discourses in Iran. Using a combination of content and discourse analyses, results show that user-generated content on Telegram supports and reinforces dominant discourses relatively strongly, rather than challenging them. They also show that politics and entertainment were the most popular content on Telegram and confirm that Telegram is usually considered a good tool for receiving information and news.

Abstract:
Advances in artificial intelligence algorithms and expansion of straightforward cloud-based platforms have enabled the adoption of conversational assistants by both, medium and large companies, to facilitate interaction between clients and employees. The interactions are possible through the use of ubiquitous devices (e.g., Amazon Echo, Apple HomePod, Google Nest), virtual assistants (e.g., Apple Siri, Google Assistant, Samsung Bixby, or Microsoft Cortana), chat windows on the corporate website, or social network applications (e.g. Facebook Messenger, Telegram, Slack, WeChat).Creating a useful, personalized conversational agent that is also robust and popular is nonetheless challenging work. It requires picking the right algorithm, framework, and/or communication channel, but perhaps more importantly, consideration of the specific task, user needs, environment, available training data, budget, and a thoughtful design. In this paper, we will consider the elements necessary to create a conversational agent for different types of users, environments, and tasks. The elements will account for the limited amount of data available for specific tasks within a company and for non-English languages. We are confident that we can provide a useful resource for the new practitioner developing an agent. We can point out novice problems/traps to avoid, create consciousness that the development of the technology is achievable despite comprehensive and significant challenges, and raise awareness about different ethical issues that may be associated with this technology. We have compiled our experience with deploying conversational systems for daily use in multicultural, multilingual, and intergenerational settings. Additionally, we will give insight on how to scale the proposed solutions.

Abstract:
The subject of this research is the online and offline mechanisms of sociopolitical mobilization of youth, namely digital grouping and formation of digital communities, as well as the opposition-mobilization model of information distribution developed by E. V. Brodovskaya and A. Y. Dombrovskaya. This model was tested on the open statistical databases provided by “Telegram Analytics” and “Google Trends”, which revealed the key patterns and differences in the protest events that unfolded in Moscow (July 14 – September 29, 2019), Minsk (August 9 – November 19, 2020), and Hong Kong (June 12, 2019 – July 1, 2020). The novelty of this research lies in the following: 1) application of the model of information distribution developed by E. V. Brodovskaya and A. Y. Dombrovskaya to the data array obtained by the author from the statistical database of “Telegram Analytics” and “Google Trends” regarding the protest events in Moscow, Minsk, and Hong Kong; compilation of weekly charts of the activity of protest Telegram channels and building histograms based on them, with visualization of their peak mentioning in other Telegram channels during the indicated periods. The author formulates recommendations on how to avoid the escalation of conflict during protest actions, taking into account mobilization mechanisms on the basis of Telegram channels.

Abstract:
This article examines the use of Telegram as a means of political communication by the ruling political elite in Russia (both external, i.e., communication with the society and other political forces, and internal, i.e., between different, often rival, groups within the elite itself). While Telegram is illegal at the official level, and attempts have been made to block it in Russia since April 2018, unofficially the Russian authorities continue to actively use Telegram channels for political communication and influencing public opinion as well as for monitoring the mood of the public. What is the reason for this ambivalent attitude toward Telegram? What makes it so attractive for the Russian establishment? How are the authorities using Telegram for their own purposes? Answering these questions is the main goal of this study.

Abstract:
Abstract Background Breast cancer-related lymphedema (BCRL) and its associated symptoms harm the quality of life (QoL) of cancer survivors and can stimulate fear of cancer recurrence (FCR). Self-management education for lymphedema has been introduced as an effective method in controlling FCR. This study investigates the effect of lymphedema group-based education compared to the social network-based and control group on QoL and FCR in breast cancer patients. Methods This three-arm clinical trial studied 105 patients with breast cancer-related lymphedema referred to Seyed_Khandan rehabilitation center. Sampling was done by random allocation method in blocks of 3 with 35 subjects in each group. All subjects received routine lymphedema treatments. The group-based education (GE) and social network-based education (SNE) groups received self-management education in the clinic and Telegram™ messenger channel, respectively. Impairment in QoL and mean score of FCR were assessed before, immediately after, and three months after the intervention by using the Persian version of Lymphedema Life Impact Scale (LLIS) and Fear of Progression Questionnaire-Short Form (FoPQ-SF), respectively. Mixed-model ANOVA was applied for statistical analysis. Results There was a significant time effect on total LLIS (P = 0.007), psychosocial (P = 0.038) and functional (P = 0.024) subscale changes in three groups of study. Interaction between the main effect of group and time on psychosocial subscale changes was statistically significant (P = 0.017). The multicomparison results illustrated that the main effect of time, the main effect of group, and interaction of them on the mean score of FCR were P = 0.084, P = 0.380, and P = 0.568, respectively. Conclusion Despite no significant reduction in the FCR score, results showed the improvement of most QoL aspects after three months of intervention. Although the social network-based education method was effective, the group-based education method was more beneficial. Applying these educational methods in lymphedema treatment protocols needs cost-effectiveness studies. Trial registration This study was registered at the Iranian Registry of Clinical Trials (IRCT2017052834176N1).

Abstract:
The article examines Internet channels as new communicative functional systems in Telegram Messenger as it often happens that there are some anonymous channels that refuse to disclose their authorship. The analysis of anonymity in Telegram shows that there is a special communicative strategy that can be a verbal provocation aimed at activating the communicative interest of readers on the one hand and, on the other hand, it is a way of avoiding responsibility for the reliability of the reported news. It is possible to confirm that the new trend appears that includes the mixture of mass media and interpersonal communications.

Abstract:
The authors of the article investigate the texts of the opposition Telegram channel “Belarus of the Brain” in order to identify the precedent phenomena (hereinafter PF) functioning in them. Political discourse is at the core of contemporary discourse research with the problem of strategies and tactics for manipulating public opinion occupying an important place among other aspects of its studies. PFs provide the basis for these strategies, which determines the relevance of the research being conducted. The article presents an analysis of the functional characteristics of PFs of two groups: 1) PFs representing the Belarusian national culture and society; 2) PFs exhibiting foreign cultural space. Based on the theory of precedence developed by V.P. Moskvin, V.I. Karasik and G.G. Slyshkin, the authors resort to the contextological and structural methods, elements of discourse analysis, in order to outline obvious accents in the functional differentiation of these PF groups. While national PFs have a positive connotation and participate in the creation of the national identity of Belarus and the Belarusians, PFs of foreign cultural spaces are marked by negative connotations and are used to discredit the existing political regime. The authors highlight common functions of the PFs of both groups such as creating vivid images and communicating credibility and authority to the information provided. PFs actualizing foreign cultural space show a tendency to participate in the didactic function of teaching the average reader the peaceful mechanisms of a democratic society. The study of structural features allows us to come to the conclusion about the word combination as the major form of PFs’ realization. The structural complexity and predominance of proper names in the morphology of PF signal their multidimensional semantic nature as well as their social essence. The authors also point out the formation of the PF corpus within political discourse with such dominant source spheres as history and culture. The research proves that PFs of our days are used as actively as PFs referring to the past. By and large PFs act as a means of analyzing, interpreting and categorizing the phenomena of public life in the political discourse.

Abstract:
This article analyses the role of Telegram in orienting, amplifying, and normalizing the non-consensual diffusion of intimate images (NCII). We focus on the sense of anonymity, the platform’s weak regulation, and the possibility of creating large male communities, arguing that these affordances are “gendered affordances” as they orient male participants’ harassment behaviors and, in concert with an established misogynist culture, contribute to the reinstatement of hegemonic masculinity. The research draws on data collected through an online covert ethnography of Italian Telegram channels and groups.

Abstract:
The results of our research over the past ten years in the field of search engine optimization on the Internet indicate the creation of a new information technology - virtual promotion. The main goal of virtual promotion is to increase the level of sales of goods or services due to technologies that exist in cyberspace. His main idea is to form a so-called market map. This is a new online sales scheme based on the customer's travel map in cyberspace. This scheme is based on the principle that you earn when you attract a new customer. Then the costs are paid by attracting new customers. That is, the more customers your web content attracts, the more you earn. Therefore, to generate income you need to use WEB services to attract potential customers. Existing product promotion techniques are constantly being improved or new ones are emerging. Therefore, the purpose of the new technology is the formation of new designs from WEB services that ensure maximum efficiency of the process of attracting new customers and retaining existing ones. At the same time it is necessary to consider classical structures of formation of marketing sales channels. We will assume that virtual promotion is an information environment where there are two channels. The first channel has the function of distributing knowledge about the product. The second is product marketing. The first channel forms the technology of information transfer (knowledge) about the product in cyberspace. It concentrates actions on transportation, storage and retrieval of information about a product or service depending on the needs of a potential buyer. Another channel is a network of websites, channel telegrams, marketplaces and video blogs. In other words, the marketing channel is formed by real firms that buy and sell information or knowledge about goods or services in cyberspace. Thus, the task is to form a map of virtual promotion, which describes the structure of the marketing channel of the product through the virtual space.

Abstract:
The article analyzes views among clerics of the ROC (MP) on coronavirus and its spread broadcasted in Telegram channels from March 1 to June 30, 2020, during the first wave of the Coronavirus in Russia. Psycholinguistic and content analysis of 166 posts devoted to one or another aspect of the pandemic in the agenda of six analyzed popular Telegram channels allows to define the main themes that to varying degrees reflect the existing opinions in church on the origins of COVID-19, the risks of being infected, as well as the restrictions introduced by governmental and medical authorities to prevent the disease from spreading. The results obtained from two different kinds of analysis reveal the problematic situation among official church representatives towards the pandemic. Due to the lack of a clear position of the hierarchy they act in accordance with their personal reasons and understandings which often may cause real harm to the audience relying on clerics’ opinions. What is interesting, such views encompass both the sentiments of COVID-dissidents denying the very existence of the virus and its risks that leads to their disregard of safety precautions as well as the views of ‘undecided’ who prefer to confine themselves to cautionary statements without taking any additional actions.
