Abstract:
Výuka tělesné výchovy je zkoumána z různých úhlů pohledu od poloviny minulého století. Pozornost je nejvíce věnována fyzickému zatížení žáků ve výuce, využití času vyučovací hodiny k aktivnímu pohybu žáků a didaktické interakci učitel–žák (žáci). Významnou roli ve zkoumání výuky tělesné výchovy hrají především interakční výzkumy, které se zabývají nejen kvantitativní, ale i kvalitativní charakteristikou výuky tělesné výchovy. Pro tato zkoumání byly vytvořeny četné metody založené především na pozorování. Mezi nimi hraje významnou roli metoda s názvem Analýza didaktické interakce (ADI), umožňující zdůvodňovat vztahy mezi interakcemi učitel–žák (žáci) a výsledky učení žáků. Zjednodušením metody ADI vznikla metoda Modifikovaná analýza didaktické interakce (MADI), která nachází uplatnění především v přípravě budoucích učitelů tělesné výchovy. Tato metoda poskytuje studentům objektivní zpětné informace o tom, jak učivo žákům předkládali a jak se ve výuce tělesné výchovy chovali. Metody ADI a MADI jsou tedy nejen vhodným nástrojem ke zkoumání výuky tělesné výchovy, ale i prostředkem k jejímu ovlivňování a zkvalitňování.

Abstract:
The thesis deals with CFD solution of flow through mechanical heart valves. The opening part includes a research on the negative impacts of implantation of artificial heart valves and the common approaches used in their modeling. This is followed by a detailed analysis of the dynamic mesh functionality and CFD solution is performed using the open-source library FOAM-extend. Part of the thesis focuses on evaluation of the geometry modifications from the perspective of forming the instabilities of the current and the course of force effects on the valve.

Abstract:
The diploma thesis Body Modifications in Cyberpunk Literature deals with the representation and role of body modifications in selected works of cyberpunk literature. The issue analysis is carried out by means of combination of quantitative and qualitative approaches. The first part of the thesis covers both areas theoretically and provides essential insight into the issue. In addition, the author develops her own definition of body modification and provides its genesis. In the research part, the author first explores a body of selected literary cyberpunk works obtained through a pilot research, namely novels Neuromancer, Snow Crash, Schismatrix and Blade Runner and short stories collections Mirrorshades and Burning Chrome. Furthermore, the author quantitatively evaluates 503 mentions of body modifications in a given sample, using 25 variables. The qualitative analysis, structured in 7 thematic areas, amplifies the quantitative findings and among other things deals with the role of body modifications in the construction of cyberpunk literary texts and their overlapping with reality. Abstract:
This work deals with the phenomenon of tattoo in hardcore subculture. In the theoretical part it reflects the transformation of the concept of subcultures in his historical progress, with an emphasis on the concept of style in the connection of the Center of contemporary culture Studies and post subcultural theory, especially the writing of David Muggleton. The diachronic perspective, this work also deals with the phenomenon of tattoo and its functions and meanings to it in today's society ascribed. An integral part of the theoretical part is to describe hardcore only in terms of its progress in the USA and in Czechoslovakia or Czech Republic, but also in terms of the side of music and shared ideology, which is the main key featuring to this subculture. Concepts described in the theoretical part are then used in actual research, which is conducted by using qualitative methodology. Exploration aims to describe the meanings and functions of the hardcore subculture and determine whether they are content and motivation ascribed to tattoo influenced subcultural ideologies, or whether it is primarily an expression of the contemporary individualistic discourse. Abstract:
The topic of this diploma thesis is body modification culture phenomenon called 'suspension'. It is a voluntary act of suspending a human body from hooks or piercings that have been temporarily pierced through the skin. Suspension is an age-old technique practiced for example by North American Indian Mandan tribe. It has been brought to the modern era and body modification culture by modern primitives. The part of the thesis is a placement of suspension to the broader sociocultural and historical context, there will be also space for development of concept of body, embodiment and pain in the western word and ritual aspect of suspension. The source for this work is mainly accessible literature, internet pages dedicated to body modifications and participant observation completed with interviews with people who had been suspended.

The output of the practical part is based on theoretical knowledge, basic manual should be the final product, which would introduce the issue of deliberate physical transformation of the main points to the general public.

The aim of my diploma thesis is to give an insight into the social reality of lightly tattooed people as well as those, who are just considering tattoo. Of people, for whom is tattoo neither a lifestyle nor only the fashion trend that recently penetrating into the mainstream culture. Presenting attitudes and opinions of these tattooed and potentially tattooed people the thesis tries to elucidate, what does it mean for them to be tattooed, if there are any concrete values and meanings connected with tattoo, how tattooed understand and reflect a possibility of conflict with the social norms and if the risk of this conflict somehow influences the decision of getting a tattoo. Main current approaches to the phenomenon of tattoo, historical development and changes of its situation in western culture are introduced in the theoretical part. The empirical part then draws on data acquired from semi-structured interviews with tattooed and potentially tattooed living in Czech Republic.

Abstract:
The dissertation deals with the issue of physical modifications, especially tattoos, in the environment of Czech male prisons. It is based on ethnographic research conducted between 2013 and 2017 in a total of five Czech men's security prisons. The aim of the thesis is to describe the phenomenon of decorating the body of inmates sentenced to serve prison sentences in Czech male prisons and to present the interpretative and meaningful potential of body treatments, especially tattooing, in relation to the so-called second life of the convicted. As a part of the thesis, the design of ethnographic research in the environment of Czech male prisons, including its limits and pitfalls, is presented, while the specificity of this research field in the field of socio-scientific research is demonstrated. Attention is paid to the issue and importance of body in the prison environment and, in consequence, to body modifications that are used at the prison level to resist against the attempt to discipline convicts' bodies through unified institutional practices. Emphasis is placed primarily on tattooing as the most frequent and the most significant physical modification of the criminal subculture in the Czech prison environment.
