As did Greek and Roman temples, Egyptian temples preserved collections of valuable objects or nouophores, i.e. ‘bearers of meaning’ (I). Two main types of nouophores can be distinguished in Egyptian temples (II): statues displayed in the temple (III), and ritual objects of costly materials stored in special chambers (IV). This thesis contends that the Chronicler includes many episodes of war in his retelling of Israel’s monarchic history to demonstrate the benefits and consequences of temple faithfulness. Several scholars have long pointed out the Chronicler’s reworking of texts in Samuel-Kings to show that Yahweh rewards the good and punishes the wicked (i.e. retribution theology). Some recent scholars, however, have put forward several exceptions to this rule. Abstract After 39 years of operation, the orifice plate in a black liquor incinerator reactor has seen over 250,000 hours of exposure to operating temperatures in the range of 480-595°C (900-1100°F), and has cracked in numerous locations. The data on the social status, class, occupation and place of registration / residence of parents, whose children were baptized in this temple in Yekaterinburg, were used. The Epiphany parish united the urbanized business and administrative elite of a large regional city, as well as rural migrants looking for work and a better life.
