Local injection of glucocorticosteroid (GCS) is an effective treatment of painful conditions in the temporomandibular joint (TMJ). GCS can be administered using anatomical landmarks for orientation or by the use of simultaneous radiographic imaging. O objetivo deste trabalho foi determinar um intervalo de pressão capaz de estimular resposta dolorosa em pacientes com sinais e sintomas compatíveis com Disfunção Temporomandibular (DTM), quando comparado a um grupo controle.
