O metilfenidato vem sendo utilizado com a finalidade de melhorar o rendimento nos estudos. O objetivo deste trabalho foi avaliar a prevalência de uso e o perfil dos estudantes que consomem metilfenidato em uma instituição de ensino superior. Trata-se de um estudo observacional transversal, realizado na Faculdade de Medicina de Campos- FMC, com questionário online aplicado aos alunos dos cursos de graduação em farmácia e medicina. Os dados foram avaliados e apresentados em gráficos e tabelas, considerando as variáveis significativas, sendo que 368 atenderam ao critério de inclusão da pesquisa.
