L'Hospitalov teorem daje odgovor na pitanje pod kojim uvjetima je limes kvocijenta dviju funkcija kad argument teži nekom elementu c skupa realnih brojeva proširenom s plus i minus beskonačno jednak limesu kvocijenta derivacija promatranih funkcija. U udžbenicima više matematike najčešće se mogu naći samo dokazi za slučaj u kojemu je c realan broj a funkcije su neprekidno derivabilne na nekom intervalu koji sadrži točku c. Prirodno se javlja potreba dokazivanja tog teorema uz slabije uvjete (npr. ako ne zahtijevamo neprekidnost derivacija funkcija) te u svim ostalim varijantama (npr. kada su c ili vrijednost limesa jednaki plus ili minus beskonačno). Ovaj rad praktično daje dokaze svih varijanti tog teorema. Za neke teoreme se lako ustanovi da su u svojim tvrdnjama vrlo slični ili ekvivalentni, pa je dovoljno dokazati da vrijedi jedan (bilo koji) od takvih teorema. Definicije ključnih pojmova te iskazi i dokazi teorema Rollea i Cauchyja mogu se naći u svakom udžbeniku više matematike (matematičke analize), npr. u [1], [2] ili [3], pa im, iz tog razloga, u radu nije posvećena posebna pozornost.

Abstract:
Intelligence is perhaps to be the one of the most logical way to determine how smart people is. That fact has always been a problem at job because there are number of job that attract people but require a high GPA for them. Employee with high GPA doesn’t always fit in his skill and work role. They unable to understand and maintain their performance. This expert system is a necessary for recommend job using Intelligence. This research use a Bayesian theorem calculation to find out probability value and job recommendation. The value of MI (Multiple Intelligences)’s user, MI probability to a job and job probability to previous result without any evidence produce a Calculation Variable.Result of the test shows output recommendation as expert system to 81.25% match with expert recommendation. 100% users statistically states the system running well. Expert system usability test shows 80% users strongly agree, 15.7% users agree and 4.3% users are neutral.Keywords: Multiple Intelligences, Profession, Bayesian theorem

Abstract:
This study aims to determine the role of Guided Inquiry in understanding students' concepts in learning the Pythagorean theorem, through student worksheet-based guided inquiry learning models. This study uses descriptive qualitative research methods, which were carried out in class VIII D at SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Gamping. Data collection techniques used were documentation, observation, and written tests. Data obtained in this study were analyzed using data triangulation techniques. The results showed that the Guided Inquiry had a role in helping students to understand the concept of the Pythagorean theorem formula, through several stages of learning. In learning that uses guided inquiry, students can understand the Pythagorean theorem formula by finding it on their own and being facilitated by the teacher. Also, student learning outcomes indicate that the average value obtained by students is above the Minimum Mastery Criteria score for mathematics subjects of 65.

El objetivo del presente estudio es analizar si el éxito empresarial puede ser explicado a partir del empowerment como herramienta de gestión y un conjunto de variables particulares de cada empresa, tales como: antigüedad, sector, tamaño y nivel de ingresos percibidos. Trabajamos con una base de datos propia que reúne información de 120 empresas de la ciudad de La Ceiba, Honduras. Basados en el marco teórico de referencia de la Teoría de Recursos y Capacidades, se aplicaron modelos econométricos probit y probit ordinal. Los resultados son consistentes y muestran que el empowerment es una variable significativa del éxito empresarial al igual las variables: antigüedad, tamaño y nivel de ingresos percibidos.

Abstract:
Traditionally it is believed that there are two requirements which must be met by a plausible normative theory of morality. It is expected to be sensitive to actual moral beliefs and to guide action. However, it is impossible to satisfy them both within the traditional approach to the tasks of moral theorizing. An alternative theory would have to provide intellectual tools for solution of actual moral problems in a way which would rely on judgment and imagination in practical reasoning. Moral theorizing would then be seen as part of moral practice and the philosopher’s role as that of a critical participant in moral practice rather than of a lawgiver with privileged access to moral truths.

Abstract:
This paper has the purpose of assessing the role of narrativity in Ronald Dworkin’s theory of law. The research question is to know whether Dworkin’s theory of law can be considered a narrative theory of law. By narrative theory, we mean a theory that is based on a heuristic characterization of plots, narrative genres, characters etc. Dworkin introduces six theses in order to link literature and law, in his classic “How law is like literature”: (1) law, as a practice of identifying valid legal propositions, can be better understood when compared to the practice of literature (synechist methodology thesis); (2) the compression of the practice of law always involves a descriptive and valuative dimension (normative theory thesis); (3) every judgment about art presupposes a theory about what art is (aesthetical hypothesis); (4) every judgment about valid legal propositions presupposes the determination of what law is (political hypothesis); (5) the political hypothesis of law depends on understanding the intentionality of the political community (chain novel); and (6) The chain novel depends on understanding the institutional history of the political community (institutional history thesis). This paper’s conclusion is that Dworkin’s theory must be seen as a narrative theory, and that without such narrative aspect, his theory would simply be a legal naturalistic theory, since the purpose or value of the law would thus become absolute.

Abstract:
Discussion in the process of teaching refers to a more sophisticated form of conversation, which is more frequently applied working with senior school learners. Problems rather than facts or phenomena are discussed. The question rises if the method of discussion is relevant in lessons of surrounding world learn-ing and whether it enables school learners to acquire knowledge, facilitates its memorisation or allows to ar-rive at solutions to urgent problems. The research involved 18 second formers, 15 school learners of fourth form and 13 students. All the groups of respondents discussed the same problem. Different roles were assigned to the participants in the discussion (a number of respondents represented heads of waste management company, whereas the rest assumed roles of residents of area where waste dump was being set up) and they involved in discussions of issues related to waste management and waste dump establishment. A considerable difference in the results of questionnaires provided to the participants before and after the discussion was observed. It is obvious that the respondents not only gained knowledge but also acquired a different perception and understanding of the problems analysed in the discussion. However, the compari-son of all the results of the survey revealed a stronger educational role of the discussion teaching fourth for-mers. This confirms theoretical statements that this method is more effective with senior school learners. The group of students also found the discussion useful. Alguns problemes clàssics sobre teoria analítica de polinomis estan relacionats amb un problema més general: determinar com estan ordenades les arrels reals d'un polinomi a coeficients reals i les arrels reals de totes les seves derivades.
Si ens restringim a l'ordenació entre arrels de derivades consecutives d'un polinomi, aquest problema pot formular-se de la següent manera. Sigui n un nombre natural no nul. Per a cada j=0,1,.,n-1 considerem variables indeterminades xj,1,xj,2,...,xj,m(j), que anomenarem variables de derivació j, i que considerarem lligades per les desigualtats xj,1xj+1,s. Llavors, el problema consisteix en determinar per a quines ordenacions entre variables de derivacions consecutives existeix un polinomi P(x), de grau n, de manera que si les arrels reals de cada derivada P(j), 0≤j≤n-1, són els nombres yj,1xj+1,s, aleshores s'ha de complir (a) yj,kyj+1,s respectivament. Si tal polinomi existeix aleshores es diu que l'ordenació proposada és representable per un polinomi.
El teorema de Rolle imposa restriccions a l'ordenació de les variables en el cas que aquesta ordenació sigui representable per polinomis. Concretament, si xj,kEn aquest sentit, ens proposem assolir els tres objectius següents:
(1) Caracteritzar les ordenacions entre variables de derivacions consecutives que són representables per polinomis.
(2) Classificar els polinomis en base a l'ordenació de les arrels de derivades consecutives i trobar certs nombres d'interès relacionats amb aquesta classificació, com per exemple el nombre de classes en que queden classificats els polinomis de grau n i el nombre de classes obertes de grau n (classes estables per pertorbacions).
(3) Estudiar què succeeix quan es consideren ordenacions que inclouen lligams entre variables de derivacions no consecutives.
L'objectiu (1) s'ha assolit establint que les ordenacions entre variables de derivacions consecutives representables per polinomis coincideixen amb les ordenacions que satisfan les restriccions imposades per un resultat que generalitza el teorema de Rolle. Essencialment, s'ha obtingut el recíproc del teorema que diu que entre cada dues arrels reals consecutives d'un polinomi hi ha un nombre senar d'arrels de la derivada comptant multiplicitats.
L'objectiu (2) s'ha assolit classificant els polinomis segons l'ordenació que presenten les arrels de les seves derivades consecutives. Els nombres d'interès relacionats amb aquesta classificació s'han obtingut a partir de fórmules recurrents.
L'objectiu (3) s'ha assolit determinant els nombres n per als quals la mencionada generalització del teorema de Rolle és suficient per a que una ordenació de les variables que inclogui lligams entre variables de derivacions no consecutives sigui representable per un polinomi.
Some classical problems in analytic theory of polynomials are related to a more general one that consists in determining how the real roots of a real polynomial and the roots of all its derivatives are ordered.
If we restrict our attention to the ordering amongst the roots of consecutive derivatives of a polynomial, this problem can be stated as follows: Let n be a nonzero natural number. For each j=0,1,.,n-1 we consider some indeterminate variables xj,1,xj,2,...,xj,m(j), called variables of derivative j, which will be linked by the inequalities xj,1xj+1,s. Then, the problem consists in determining for which of those orderings amongst variables of consecutive derivatives there exists a polynomial of degree n, say P(x), so that if the real roots of each derivative P(j), 0≤j≤n-1, are the numbers yj,1xj+1,s, then (a) yj,kyj+1,s must hold respectively. If such a polynomial exists, then we say that the suggested ordering is represented by a polynomial.
Rolle's theorem sets up restrictions to the ordering of the variables in the case when this ordering is represented by polynomials. More precisely, if xj,kIn this sense, we intend to achieve the following goals:
(1) To characterize the orderings amongst variables of consecutive derivatives that are represented by polynomials.
(2) To classify the polynomials according to the ordering of the roots of consecutive derivatives and to find certain numbers of interest related to this classification, such as the number of classes of equivalence in which polynomials of degree n are classified and the number of classes of equivalence which are open as subsets of the space of polynomials of degree at most n.
(3) To study what happens when we consider orderings that include connections between variables of non-consecutive derivatives.
Goal (1) has been achieved by showing that the orderings amongst variables of consecutive derivatives that are represented by polynomials coincide with the orderings that satisfy the restrictions imposed by a result which generalizes Rolle's theorem. Essentially, we have obtained the inverse of the theorem that states that between every two consecutive real roots of a polynomial, there is an odd number of roots of its derivative counting their multiplicities.
Goal (2) has been attained by classifying the polynomials according to the ordering of the roots of their consecutive derivatives. The numbers of interest related to this classification have been obtained by means of recurrent formulae.
Goal (3) has been attained by determining all numbers n for which Rolle's theorem generalization, mentioned above, is sufficient to ensure that an ordering of the variables that include connections between variables of non-consecutive derivatives, be represented by a polynomial.

O tema central desta pesquisa consiste no estudo da importância da teoria dos papéis, de Jacob Levy Moreno, para o bibliodrama. Considerado como a arte de interpretar textos sagrados, o bibliodrama é abordado a partir das concepções teóricas da autora Anete Roese, sendo complementadas com as contribuições de Esly Carvalho e Pitzele. Iniciando com a delimitação de seu conceito, seguem-se a abordagem de sua origem no psicodrama, sua metodologia e sua função hermenêutica, enfatizando-se o papel do bibliodramatista como diretor, coordenador e facilitador de todo o processo. Em função da importância da teoria de papéis para o bibliodrama, em seguida, serão explicitados temas específicos do psicodrama que revelam os conceitos antropológicos morenianos: a concepção de sujeito como um ser cósmico, seu desenvolvimento psicológico e a construção da sua personalidade. Tais conceitos auxiliarão na forma de compreender a ação hermenêutica bibliodramática, ou seja, aquela que emerge da dramatização. Essa hermenêutica encontrase em ressonância com a hermenêutica bíblica proposta por Ricoeur, retomando a hermenêutica de Schleiermarcher, cujo foco de interpretação fundamenta-se na compreensão psicológica do sujeito, tal como hoje é recomendado por Drewermann. Ao revelar a importância da teoria de papéis como contribuição ao bibliodrama, fundamentada na antropologia psicodramática, esta pesquisa, além de inserir o bibliodrama na psicologia da religião, também constrói outra possibilidade: ela permite ao bibliodrama contribuições à teoria do psicodrama, por meio de uma série de reflexões sobre sua origem filosófica, ou seja, sobre a relação direta com Deus. Enfim, essa relação dialógica do sujeito, por meio dos papéis bibliodramáticos, com a Bíblia torna-se agente de transformação, instrumento da mensagem bíblica, em busca de crescimento, tanto pessoal quanto profissional, possibilitando o resgate da fé, facilitadora do encontro com Deus e consigo mesmo.
The central theme of this research is to study the importance of Jacob Levy Moreno’s role theory to the bibliodrama. Considered as the art of interpreting sacred texts, the bibliodrama is approached from the theoretical conceptions of the author Anete Roese, being complemented with contributions from Esly Carvalho and Pitzele. Beginning with the delimitation of its concept, following the approach of its origin in psychodrama, its methodology and its hermeneutic function, emphasizing the role of bibliodramatist as director, coordinator and facilitator of the whole process. Because of the importance of role theory to the bibliodrama, specific topics of psychodrama that reveal the Morenian anthropological concepts will be explained: the conception of the subject as a cosmic being, his psychological development and the construction of his personality. These concepts will assist in the way of understanding bibliodramatic hermeneutic action, i.e., one that emerges from the drama. This hermeneutics is in resonance with the biblical hermeneutics proposed by Ricoeur, resuming the hermeneutics of Schleiermarcher, whose focus of interpretation is based on the psychological understanding of the subject, as it is recommended by Drewermann today. By revealing the importance of role theory as a contribution to bibliodrama, based on psychodramatic anthropology, this research, in addition to inserting the bibliodrama in the psychology of religion, also builds another possibility: it allows the bibliodrama contributions to the theory of psychodrama, through a series of reflections on its philosophical origin, i.e., a direct relationship with God. In short, this dialogical relationship of the subject, through bibliodramatc roles, with the Bible becomes an agent of transformation, instrument of the biblical message, in search of growth, both personal and professional, allowing the rescue of faith, facilitator of the encounter with God and himself.

The main objective in this research was to create a therapeutic technique based on the Role Playing Games. In order to encompass the main objective, it was relevant to outline the following specific goals as to: understand if the Role Playing Games are therapeutic resources for the psychological intervention in groups; verify which conscious and unconscious psychic contents arise from the proposed technique and verify if it contributed to the perception of the unconscious aspects from those who had experienced it. The Analytical Psychology was used as theoretical reference because it encompasses the main objectives of this present research through its concepts and the possibility of the symbolic analysis in the phenomenon studied. The participants in this research were a group of six R.P.G players, who experienced two campaigns (stories), with seven adventures (games) each. On the first one, the participants role played the characters they would like to interpret and on the second one, they played the characters they would not like to interpret. After two set of games, there were two interviews, structured with each participant. One after the role playing as the character they would like to interpret and the other one after the experience playing the character they would not like to interpret. The interviews were conducted by the researcher, aiming to be fostering instruments for the reflection on the R.P.G.´s game experiences. The analysis on the collected data was performed based on the qualitative methodology, adapting Bardin´s (2011) content analysis technique in Faria (2003). The analysis process took place for each participant, in the R.P.G. adventures taped on video, as well as the structured interviews that were audio recorded. The researcher elaborated an analysis for each participant and then there was a discussion on the experience of the proposed therapeutic technique. The analysis suggested that a therapeutic technique was created, based on Role Playing Games, and they were a therapeutic resource for the psychological intervention in groups. Emerging contents were also perceived, referring to the persona, the ego, the affective complexes, the archetypal manifestation, the shadow, the ideal ego, the elements of the conscious and unconscious dimensions. In addition to that, the proposed technique seemed to get conscience and unconscious closer, as well as foster the acknowledgement of contents that so far have been unconscious to the participants. The procedure of the therapeutic technique, named as spontaneous role play game had as a result the following stages: a group gathering or intervention in an existing group; the creation of character 1, who the participants would like to role play; the experience in four R.P.G. games; intervention interview performed; the creation of character 2, who the participants would not like to role play; the experience in four R.P.G. games; intervention interview performed
Esta pesquisa teve como objetivo principal criar uma técnica terapêutica, baseada em Role Playing Games. A fim de contemplar o objetivo principal, concebeu-se como relevante delinear como objetivos específicos: buscar compreender se os Role Playing Games se constituíam como recurso terapêutico para a intervenção psicológica em grupos; verificar quais conteúdos psíquicos, conscientes e inconscientes, emergiam em decorrência da técnica proposta; e verificar se esta contribuía para a percepção de aspectos inconscientes, por parte daqueles que a vivenciavam. Utilizou-se o referencial teórico da Psicologia Analítica por contemplar os objetivos da presente pesquisa através de seus conceitos e pela possibilidade de análise simbólica do fenômeno estudado. Os participantes de pesquisa constituíram um grupo de seis jogadores de R.P.G. e vivenciaram duas campanhas (estórias), com sete aventuras (jogos) cada. Na primeira, os participantes representaram personagens que gostariam de interpretar e, na segunda, representaram personagens que não gostariam de interpretar. Após as duas séries de jogos, foram realizadas duas entrevistas semi-estruturadas com cada participante, uma após a representação do(a) personagem que gostaria de interpretar e outra após a vivência daquele que não gostaria de interpretar. As entrevistas foram conduzidas pela pesquisadora e propuseram-se a serem instrumentos propiciadores de reflexão acerca das vivências nos jogos de R.P.G.. A análise dos dados coletados foi realizada com base na metodologia qualitativa, por meio de adaptação da técnica de análise de conteúdo, de Bardin (2011), por Faria (2003). Este processo de análise ocorreu para cada participante, tanto em relação às aventuras de R.P.G., gravadas em vídeo, quanto ao concernente às entrevistas semi-estruturadas, gravadas em áudio. A pesquisadora elaborou análise para cada participante em particular e, posteriormente, realizou discussão referente à vivência da técnica terapêutica proposta. A análise sugeriu que foi criada uma técnica terapêutica, baseada em Role Playing Games, bem como que estes se constituíram como um recurso terapêutico para a intervenção psicológica em grupos. Percebeu-se, ainda, a emergência de conteúdos referentes à persona, ao ego, a complexos afetivos, a manifestações arquetípicas, à sombra, ao ego ideal, a elementos das dimensões conscientes e inconscientes. Ademais, a técnica proposta pareceu aproximar a consciência e o inconsciente, bem como promover o reconhecimento de conteúdos, até então, inconscientes pelos participantes. O procedimento da técnica terapêutica, nomeada jogo de interpretação espontânea, resultou como constituído das seguintes etapas: reunião de um grupo ou intervenção em um grupo já existente; criação dos personagens 1, os quais os participantes gostariam de interpretar; vivência de quatro jogos de R.P.G..; realização de entrevista interventiva; criação dos personagens 2, os quais os participantes não gostariam de interpretar; vivência de quatro jogos de R.P.G.; realização de entrevista interventiva

Abstract:
This thesis is a collection of three principal chapters split into two parts. The first part presents chapter 1 on network design when effort decisions are global substitutes but communication through network links creates local complementarities and the network is subject to policing. Although it is motivated as a study of criminal networks, the model is general enough to encompass situations of collaborative R&D, employee poaching and peer effects. The second part presents chapters 2 and 3 on R&D collaboration. Chapter 2 empirically assesses the reasons that induce firms to collaborate in R&D projects and finds a strong reason in financial constraints. Chapter 3, firstly studies how firms within collaborative agreements protect their innovations. A comparison with non-collaborators unveils a systematic preference for strategic mechanisms such as secrecy. Chapter 3 then provides a theoretical rationale for this difference and offers additional predictions that are matched by the data.
Aquesta tesi és una recopilació de tres capítols principals, separada en dues parts. La primera part presenta el capítol 1 relatiu al disseny en xarxa quan les decisions sota esforç són substitutius globals. Però, en aquest context, la comunicació a través de les connexions de la xarxa crea complementarietats locals i la xarxa està subjecte a vigilància. Encara que aquest capítol està motivat com un estudi sobre les xarxes criminals, el model és bastant general i abasta situacions de R&D col·laboratiu, fuga de talents i efectes paritaris. La segona part presenta els capítols 2 i 3 relatius a la col·laboració en matèria de R&D. El capítol 2 avalua empíricament les raons que indueixen a les empreses a col·laborar entre elles en projectes de R&D, destacant sobre les altres raons les restriccions financeres. El capítol 3 estudia, en primer lloc, de quina manera les empreses que operen sota acords de col·laboració protegeixen les seves innovacions. Una comparació amb empreses no col·laboradores desvetlla una preferència sistemàtica per mecanismes estratègics com el secretisme. Seguidament, el capítol 3 proporciona una base teòrica que explica aquesta diferència i ofereix prediccions addicionals que s'ajusten a les dades.

Esta tese trata da não realização do objeto direto correferencial, um fenômeno denominado objeto nulo (ON), no português rural baiano (PBR), a partir do quadro teórico da gramática gerativa. Secundariamente, analisa-se o uso do pronome ELE, levando em conta a alternância desse pronome com o ON. São investigados os contextos em que uma e outra estratégia são requeridas e os fatores que as condicionam. Tem-se considerado o traço de animacidade do DP antecedente o fator mais relevante na escolha dessas estratégias: quando o traço do antecedente é [-animado], o ON é licenciado; quando o traço é [+animado], o objeto direto é realizado (cf.Bianchi e Figueiredo Silva, 1994; Cyrino, 1997; Kato, 1993; entre outros). Contudo, neste trabalho, procura-se desmistificar a relevância desse traço, visto que não tem representação na estrutura da sentença do português brasileiro (PB). Os resultados da análise quantitativa dos dados apontaram que o ON não é licenciado quando o DP antecedente se encontra na posição de sujeito básico, de objeto indireto, de complemento nominal, de adjunto adnominal e adverbial; mas apenas nas posições internas ao verbo e com papéis temáticos semelhantes, tema/paciente: objeto direto, complemento oblíquo e sujeito derivado; bem como de tópico, tema do discurso. Esses resultados revelam que DP antecedente e ON devem manter uma relação de identidade: serem gerados na posição interna ao verbo e compartilharem o mesmo papel temático, o que é compatível com os requerimentos das operações de elipse. Assim, assume-se, neste trabalho, que o ON é uma elipse de DP (cf. Cyrino, 1997), cuja recuperação se dá através de identidade estrutural e temática, descartando a possibilidade de ser interpretada como pro ou variável. A retomada de um DP nas posições em que o ON é bloqueado ocorre através do pronome ELE ou da repetição do DP. Contudo, o ELE está disponível também nos demais contextos em que o ON é licenciado, inclusive para retomar DPs com traço [-animado]. Foram investigados, também, dados do português rural europeu (PER) e comparados com os do PBR e o resultado dessa comparação revelou comportamento semelhante entre essas duas variedades linguísticas, embora a ocorrência de ON em ilhas seja restrita às adverbiais no PER. O estatuto de elipse, assumido nesta tese, dá conta dos dados do PBR e do PER.

Den här uppsatsen avser undersöka hur Försvarsmaktens roll inom den civila krisberedskapen uppfattas av de civila aktörerna som ingår i krisberedskapsorganisationen (kommuner, landsting, bevakningsansvariga myndigheter, samt länsstyrelser) samt vilken formell roll Försvarsmakten ska spela, utifrån hur myndigheten styrts politiskt genom undersökning av Försvarsbeslutet 2015 samt efterföljande regleringsbrev och direktiv, under perioden 2015 - 2017. Uppsatsen avser endast undersöka Försvarsmaktens stöd till civila (icke-beväpnade) insatser, och således är ex. stöd till Polisen i samband med terrorismbekämpning inte undersökt.
This bachelor thesis examines the role of the Swedish Armed Forces (SAF) in civilian crisis management. The Swedish crisis management system is based upon the principle of responsibility (Ansvarsprincipen), which means that an actor responsible for a certain function of society during a normal state also is responsible for maintaining this function during disturbance or crisis. This gives each actor a clear role to plays in times of crisis. The SAF has no clear peacetime role within the frame of national defense except for maintaining readiness to face an armed assault or violation of Swedish territory by foreign powers. The SAF is also supposed to give support to other parts of society when needed, but this support is to be given within already existing abilities and resources. The task is also non-dimensional, which means the SAF is not expected to organize itself primarily for this task.  The analysis will focus only on the role of the SAF, and not on the roles of other actors within civilian crisis management, and only on unarmed operations. A consequence of this demarcation is that the SAF's role within anti-terrorist operations will be left out. Demarcation in time is the period of 2015 - 2017.

Abstract:
Esta dissertação é o resultado da pesquisa que realizamos acerca das crenças subjacentes à teoria metodológica e suas relações com a prática, no âmbito do ensino e aprendizagem de língua estrangeira (LE). Partimos dos questionamentos elaborados por nós desde a Licenciatura, como estudante, até o labor atual como professora de espanhol como língua estrangeira (ELE). No que se refere aos objetivos de nossa pesquisa, procuramos: 1) investigar como a teoria relaciona-se à prática docente, 2) averiguar quais são as crenças mais comuns de professores sobre atuação, papel do docente, materiais didáticos e desenvolvimento da aula, 3) analisar como os procedimentos aplicados revelam as crenças a respeito da teoria e da prática. Justificamos a relevância de nosso estudo ao investigar as representações, crenças ou percepções que tanto os professores quanto os alunos criam sobre uma boa atuação pedagógica e os componentes a ela referidos. Consideramos alguns aspectos filosóficos apresentados por Dewey (1959) referentes à importância da reflexão sobre teoria e prática didática, acerca do fundamento teórico-metodológico relacionado à competência comunicativa, abordagens e métodos expostos por Almeida Filho (2005, 2010) e Richards e Rodgers (2001) bem como as crenças no ensino e aprendizagem explanadas por Barcelos (2004, 2006). As contribuições teóricas apontadas por Barcelos e Vieira Abrahão (2006); Cortés Cárdenas, Cárdenas Beltrán e Nieto Cruz (2013); Eres Fernández (2000, 2009); Figueiredo (2012); Sánchez Pérez (1997, 2009); Sánchez Lobato e Santos Gargallo (2004) embasam nosso estudo. Centramos nossa análise nas características qualitativas e adotamos uma perspectiva etnográfica de estudo de caso. Para a pesquisa de campo foram realizadas entrevistas com questões abertas direcionadas às professoras e aos seus alunos na rede pública de ensino, em Centros de Estudos de Línguas do estado de São Paulo (CEL) e também observamos aulas nesse mesmo espaço educacional. As informações coletadas relacionam-se ao contexto em que se insere a pesquisa e a ida a campo teve o intuito de conhecer em que momento(s) a teoria, a prática e as crenças subjacentes dialogam. Os dados obtidos e analisados por nós revelam as competências docentes esperadas no profissional, entre as quais ressaltamos a competência comunicativa que se refere à capacidade de utilizar a LE e de promovê-la nos aprendizes, além da competência pedagógica, que está relacionada ao contexto educativo, aos métodos, às reflexões sobre a atuação docente. As considerações finais ressaltam a importância dos estudos sobre abordagens, métodos, aspectos emocionais, análise de materiais didáticos e em especial a reflexão sobre a atuação didática na formação inicial ou continuada do docente, pois a partir da conscientização é possível melhorar a prática pedagógica, para facilitar o ensino e a aprendizagem. Ao conhecer as crenças no ensino, o professor pode promover uma (re)significação da atuação docente, em busca da formação pedagógica integral.
This dissertation is the result of the research that we have made about the intrinsic beliefs related to the methodological theory and its correlation to the practice, as far as the learning/teaching of a foreign language (FL) is concerned. We have started with enquiries which have been carried on from the time we were finishing our Bachelors Degree up to present as Spanish as a foreign language (SFL) teacher. Concerning the objectives of our research, we have attempted: 1) to investigate how the theory connects to the teaching practice; 2) to verify which are the most common teachers beliefs about their acting, the role of the educators, the didactic materials and the development of the classes; 3) to analyze how the applied procedures reveal these beliefs about the theory and the practice. We justify the relevance of our study through the investigation of representations, beliefs or perceptions that both teachers and students create about a good pedagogical action and its components. We have considered some philosophical aspects presented by Dewey (1959), linked to the importance of the thinking about the theory and the didactical practice, regarding the theoretical - methodological fundaments associated to the communicative competence, approaches and methods exposed by Almeida Filho (2005, 2010) and Richards and Rogers (2001) as well as the teaching/learning beliefs elucidated by Barcelos (2004, 2006). The theoretical contributions pointed by Barcelos and Vieira Abrahão (2006); Cortés Cárdenas, Cárdenas Beltrán and Nieto Cruz (2013); Eres Fernández (2000, 2009); Figueiredo (2012); Sánchez Pérez (1997, 2009); Sánchez Lobato and Santos Gargallo (2004) support our study. Our analysis is centered in qualitative characteristics and we adopted an ethnographic perspective in our case. For the field research were provided interviews with open questions directed to the teachers and their public schools students in the Language Study Centers of the State of São Paulo (CEL), as well as classes observation at the same educational centers. The collected information is related to the context in which the investigation is inserted and the field study had the objective of showing the moment that the theory, the practice and the fundamental beliefs interact. The obtained and analyzed data revealed the educational competences expected to be developed by the teachers, among which we emphasize the communicative competence that refers to the ability of using the FL. We also promote it to the learners, along with a pedagogical aptness that is connected to the educational context and with the methods and the reflection on the educators actions. The final considerations focus the attention on the importance of academic studies about different approaches, methods, emotional aspects and analysis of didactic material. They especially consider the initial and continual formation of the educators, because from their consciousness it is possible to improve the pedagogical practice in order to make the learning/teaching process easier. Being aware of the learning beliefs, the teachers are able to promote a new connotation to their actions, searching for an intrinsic pedagogical formation.

Resumo: Apresenta-se um novo método efetivo para analisar um sistema de Deputados usando o formalismo da teoria de redes. Construiu-se uma matriz com os resultados anuais da votação nominal da Câmara dos Deputados do Brasil desde 2007 até 2015. Através da medida do coeficiente de correlação entre os conjuntos anuais de votação nominal, calculou-se uma rede de Deputados. Encontrando a Árvore Geradora Mínima da rede de Deputados características generais do sistema podem visualiza-se. Especificamente, expõe-se a postura de concordância - oposição, as conexões individuais entre os Deputados, a fidelidade partidária e uma nova maneira de observar os projetos de lei aprovados ou rejeitados, assim como sua evolução no tempo. Devido ao bom comportamento de correlação observado entre os Deputados, prova-se que cinco ou seis partidos políticos são suficientes para capturar toda a diversidade política existente na Câmara dos Deputados do Brasil. Além disso, propõe-se que a distribuição de probabilidade dos valores de correlação da Câmara dos Deputados do Brasil é uma combinação de distribuições logísticas. Enuncia-se também, um novo método de ordenar matrizes de correlação baseado no resultado da Árvore Geradora Mínima
Abstract: A new effective method for analysing a Representatives¿ system from the network formalism is presented. A matrix with the annual results of roll - call vote of the Brazilian House of Representatives from 2007 to 2015 was constructed. By measuring the correlation coefficient between each pair of annual roll - call vote sets a Representatives¿ network was computed. For extracting the Minimal Spanning Tree of the Representatives' network general features of this system arises. Specifically, the concordance - opposition stance, the individual connections among Representatives, the partisan fidelity and a new way to identify the approved and disapproved draft bills, as well as, its time evolution are disclosed. A well-define correlation behaviour among Representatives is observed, in fact, we prove that five or six political parties are sufficient to encapsulate all political diversity in the Brazilian House of Representatives. In addition, we propose that the probability distribution of correlation values in the Brazilian House of Representatives is a combination of logistic distributions. Besides that, a new method for re-ordering correlation matrices based on the result of the Minimal Spanning Tree is enunciated

Abstract:
El objetivo de esta investigación es analizar cómo se adopta el rol materno en mujeres que tienen hijos con habilidades diferentes de acuerdo a su entorno familiar y social. Para este fin, se desarrolló un estudio cualitativo utilizando la técnica de la entrevista semiestructurada en ocho mujeres de nivel socioeconómico alto, entre 45 y 55 años de edad, madres de jóvenes adultos con habilidades diferentes. Los principales resultados indican que la identidad materna es construida en distintos estadios a lo largo de la interacción madre-hijo y que el apoyo familiar y social cumplen un papel importante en la consolidación de dicho vínculo. Se concluye que para que las mujeres con las características de esta muestra construyan y adopten un rol materno equilibrado y saludable, necesitan de la participación activa de su entorno inmediato, es decir, de un microsistema comprometido y promotor de asistencia abocada al bienestar tanto de la madre como del hijo.
The objective of this research is to analyze how the maternal role is attained in women who have children with different abilities according to their family and social environment. For this purpose, a qualitative study was developed using the semi-structured interview technique in eight women of high socioeconomic status, between 45 and 55 years of age, mothers of young adults with different abilities. The main results indicate that maternal identity is constructed at different stages throughout the mother-child interaction and that the family and social support play an important role in the consolidation of this bond. It is concluded that for women with the characteristics of this sample to build and attain a balanced and healthy maternal role, they need the active participation of their immediate environment, a committed microsystem and promoter of assistance aiming the well-being of both the mother and son.

El marc d'aquesta tesi són els objectes invariants hiperbòlics (tors amb bigotis, cicles límit, NHIM,. . .), que constitueixen, per aquesta tesi, els objectes essencials per a l'estudi de diversos problemes des de la difusió d'Arnold fins als rellotges biològics. Treballem en tres temes diferents des d'un enfocament tant teòric com numèric, amb una especial atenció per a les aplicacions, especialment en neurobiologia:
· Existència de difusió d'Arnold per a sistemes Hamiltonians a priori inestables
· Algorismes numèrics ràpids per al càlcul de tors invariants i els "bigotis" associats, per a sistemes Hamiltonians utilitzant el mètode de la parametrització.
· Càlcul d'isòcrones i corbes de resposta de fase (PRC) en sistemes neurobiològics usant el mètode de la parametrització.
En la primera part de la tesi, hem considerat el cas d'un sistema Hamiltonià a priori inestable amb 2+1/2 graus de llibertat sotmès a una pertorbació de tipus general. "A priori inestable" significa que el sistema no pertorbat presenta un punt d'equilibri hiperbòlic amb una òrbita homoclínica associada. El resultat principal d'aquesta part de la tesi és que per a un conjunt genèric de pertorbacions prou regulars, el sistema presenta el fenòmen de la difusió d'Arnold, és a dir, existeixen trajectòries la variable acció de les quals experimenta un canvi d'ordre 1. La demostració es basa en un estudi detallat de les zones ressonants i els objectes invariants generats en elles, i ofereix una descripció completa de la geografia de les ressonàncies generades per una pertorbació genèrica.
En la segona part d'aquest memòria, desenvolupem mètodes numèrics eficients que requereixen poca memòria i operacions per al càlcul de tors invariants i els "bigotis" associats en sistemes Hamiltonians (aplicacions simplèctiques i camps vectorials Hamiltonians).
En particular, això inclou els objectes invariants involucrats en el mecanisme de la difusió d'Arnold, estudiat en el capítol anterior. Els algorismes es basen en el mètode de la parametrització i segueixen de prop demostracions recents del teorema KAM que no usen variables acció-angle. Donem detalls de la implementació numèrica que hem dut a terme i mostrem alguns exemples.
En la darrera part de la tesi relacionem problemes de temps en sistemes biològics amb algunes eines conegudes de sistemes dinàmics. En particular, usem el mètode de la parametrització i les simetries de Lie per a calcular numèricament les isòcrones i les corbes de resposta de fase (PRC) associades a oscil·ladors i ho apliquem a diversos models biològics ben coneguts. A més a més, aconseguim estendre el càlcul de PRCs en un entorn de l'oscil·lador. Les PRCs són útils per a l'estudi de la sincronització d'oscil·ladors acoblats i una eina bàsica en biologia experimental (ritmes circadians, acoblament sinàptic i elèctric de neurones,. . . ).

It was Federico Chabod who recognized in Jean Bodin's theory of climate the merging, in the middle of the sixteenth century, of the «scattered seeds» of an essentially naturalistic idea of nation, still far from the modern conception of the nation as «a spiritual fact». Bodin (1529-1596) was one of the greatest exponents of French legal humanism. Reworking and updateing in his major works (Methodus, 1566; République, 1576-1586; Universae naturae theatrum, 1596) a long dating back theme, Bodin presented the characters of nations as dependent on climatic situations: the cold north with the torpid ingenuity of the inhabitants, the hot south with subtle ingenuity, and the middle zone of temperate nations. That theory, which soon became a stereotype until its reworking in Montesquieu's Esprit des lois, actually played a more decisive role in the genesis of the modern concept of nation, made visible for the first time, albeit in a symbolic and imaginary way.

The paper presents the dynamic theory proposed by La Volpe in 1936. This analysis has been innovative in many ways: general equilibrium is defined as temporary, the presence and the role of expectations are introduced, the intertemporal choice of the agents is determined in such a way as to anticipate the life-cycle theory, and some important problems that emerge in the dynamic analysis are addressed. The relevance of La Volpe’s book led Michio Morishima to publish its English translation.

Catalan Studies are basically focused on national/linguistic identity, but recent debate on Catalan identity triggered by the current pro-independent process in Catalonia, may help reshape this academic field. A more diverse approach to Catalan culture should consider sexuality, which has traditionally been banished from literary analysis as a ‘private’ matter. Here, we discussed how queer theory can reframe Catalan Studies mainly by building a specific LGBT literary tradition, identifying queer episodes and characters in the canon, questioning received meanings, promoting interdisciplinary analysis of Catalan culture and exploring the role of queer subjectivity in history.

A roller coaster is a permutation \pi that maximizes the sum $\t(\pi) = \sum_{\tau\in X(\pi)}\id(\tau)$, where \(X(\pi)\) denotes the set of subsequences of \(\pi\) with cardinality at least \(3\); and \(\id(\tau)\) denotes the number of maximal increasing or decreasing subsequences of contiguous numbers of \(\tau\). We denote by \(\t_{\max}(n)\) the value \(\t(\pi)\), where \(\pi\) is a roller coaster of \(\{1,\ldots,n\}\), for \(n\geq 3\). Precise values of \(\t_{\max}(n)\) for \(n\leq 13\) were presented in \cite{AhmedTanbir}. In this paper, we explore the problem of computing lower bounds for \(\t_{\max}(n)\). More specifically, we present a cubic algorithm to compute $\t(\pi)$ for any given permutation $\pi$; and an Integer Linear Programming model to obtain roller coasters. As a result, we improve known lower bounds found in the literature for $n \leq 40$.

The `0-sampling problem plays an important role in streaming graph algorithms. In this paper, we revisit a near-optimal `0-sampling algorithm, proposing a variant that allows proving a tighter upper bound for the probability of failure. We compare experimental results of both variants, providing empirical evidence of their applicability in real-case scenarios. The `0-sampling problem consists in sampling a nonzero coordinate from a dynamic vector a = (a1, . . . , an) with uniform probability. This vector is defined in a turnstile model, which consists of a stream of updates S = hs1, s2, . . . , sti on a (initially 0), where si = (ui, i) 2 { 1, . . . , n} ⇥ R for all 1  i  t, meaning an increment of i units to aui . It is desirable that such sample be produced in a single pass through the stream with sublinear space complexity. The challenge arises from the fact that, since i can be negative and hence some updates in the stream may cancel others, directly sampling the stream may lead to incorrect results.

La comprensión del funcionamiento de los mercados eléctricos en las aulas requiere el uso de simuladores informáticos dada la imposibilidad de participar en mercados reales, por lo que resulta necesaria la incorporación de entornos virtuales que simulen aquello que ocurre en los mercados reales. Sin embargo, a la hora de diseñar estos simuladores, suelen obviarse aquellos escenarios que no cumplen la teoría económica, lo que elimina una gran mayor parte de los casos donde los fallos de mercado no se tienen en cuenta. En particular, en este artículo se describe y analiza la metodología de role playing en simuladores del mercado eléctrico con condiciones de poder de mercado. Los resultados y opiniones de los estudiantes son presentados para validar la idoneidad y la utilidad de este tipo de metodologías.

The multifunctional role of neighbourhoodscale parks is vital within the urban system. They are not neutral spaces in terms of the functions attributed to them by the social collectivity. This causes them to be analyzed, evaluated and projected in interdependence with the physical and social environment where they are located or can be located. València parcs de barri is a web platform that arises from a teaching project developed by the Teaching and Research Group TUR (urban planning workshop), within the studies of Degree in Architecture at the Universitat Politècnica de València. It is born worried about the improvement in the project decisions of the neighbourhood parks.It considers that these public spaces have not been designed with sensitivity towards the social function that they fulfil. This social function is established by the daily uses that the population makes and what the park means to them. Among the objectives of this platform are to open the University to society, involve students in a social project and listen to the user. In addition, it is necessary to diagnose and design the parks with and for the subject-user, because this is the true protagonist of the public space. This paper collects the need to establish a plan to be followed by València Parcs de Barri in the coming years. The plan is a road map that defines the strategic lines and phases to be followed in a community based research project, applying the methodologies of participatory action. Abstract: The aim of this investigation is to present an approach to the notion of a global architect, the universality of his theory and legacy. The investigation is composed in two main stages whose goals are the following: 1) to address the notion of global architect; 2) to demonstrate the role of Le Corbusier to perform the idea of global architect and his influence in others architects, such as Fernando Távora (1923-2005), a portuguese architect recognized as the master of Álvaro Siza. The first stage, we seek to formulate a definition of global architect from the point of view of Le Corbusier’s works. During the second stage we analyse and compare the positions of Le Corbusier and Távora and their projects: Ronchamp, Chandigarh and Market at Vila da Feira and Ofir Summer House. Thus, we attempt to analyse the role of Le Corbusier as a global architect and his impact on others colleagues, such as Távora who seeks to achieve the same ideal of global architect and perform a universal vision of architecture. Resumen: El propósito de esta investigación consiste en presentar una aproximación a la idea de arquitecto global, la universalidad de su teoría y su legado. El artículo se compone en dos partes principales cuyos objetivos son los siguientes: 1) hacer una reflexión acerca de el concepto de arquitecto global; 2) aclarar el papel de Le Corbusier como un personaje que personificó el ideal de arquitecto global y mostrar como ha influenciado a muchos arquitectos, como es el ejemplo de Fernando Távora (1923-2005), un arquitecto portugués reconocido como el maestro de Álvaro Siza. En primer lugar, se procura formular una definición de arquitecto global desde el punto de vista de Le Corbusier y sus obras. Durante la segunda parte se analizan y comparan las posiciones de Le Corbusier y Fernando Távora así como sus proyectos: Ronchamp, Chandigarh, Mercado de Vila da Feira y la Casa de Verano en Ofir. Résumé: Je m'intéresse, depuis le territoire du design, à l'intérêt que Le Corbusier porta pour le vêtement moderne, à partir d'une conférence de 1929 où la réforme du vêtement l'emporte à fonder son concept d' « équipement domestique » pour la « machine à habiter ». La richesse du modèle renvoie vers des écrits préalables, notamment sa théorie des "objets-membres artificiels" qui s'est trouvée soutenir une nouvelle définition « prothétique » du design, et par ailleurs des témoignages vécus plus intimes qui amènent un point de vue alternatif et dynamique sur la relation corporelle aux artefacts modernes. Au cœur des débats sur la place et le rôle de la machine industrielle, la position de Le Corbusier révèle sa complexité et sa singularité, qui s'éclaire grâce à des travaux et des concepts propres à l'époque, telle que la Rythmique et la phénoménologie du mouvement, les notions d'œuvre vivante, de sensation et de mesure. Cela emporte à esquisser une conception prothétique corbuséenne, paradoxale, offrant en retour d'enrichir la compréhension de cette idéologie encore très active, et aussi de contribuer à une théorie du vêtement en design, si frêle sur le sujet. Resumen: Me interesa, desde el territorio del diseño, el interés que Le Corbusier trajo a la prenda moderna, desde una conferencia de 1929 en que la reforma de la prenda le lleva a instaurar su concepto de "equipo del hogar" por la "máquina para vivir". La riqueza del modelo se refiere a los escritos anteriores, especialmente su teoría de la "extremidades objetos artificiales”, que se encontró sostener una nueva definición "prótesis" del diseño , y por otro lado, testimonios vividos más íntimos que conducen a un punto de vista alternativo y dinámico sobre relación cuerpo a los artefactos modernos. En el centro del debate sobre el lugar y el papel de la máquina industrial, la posición de Le Corbusier revela su complejidad y singularidad, que se ilumina gracias a las obras y los conceptos específicos de la época, tal como la Rítmica y la fenomenología de movimiento, las nociones de obras vivas, de sensación y de medida. Esto lleva a esbozar un diseño protésico corbuseano, paradójico, permitiendo a cambio enriquecer la comprensión de esta ideología que aun sigue muy activa, y también para contribuir a una teoría de la vestimenta en diseño, tan frágil sobre este tema. Abstract: I focus, from the territory of design, on the interest Le Corbusier brought to the modern garment, from a 1929 conference where the dressreform leads him to develop his concept of "équipement domestique" for the "machine à habiter". Richness of the model refers to prior writings, especially his theory of "objets-membres artificiels", which occured supporting a new "prosthetic" definition of design, and besides that, intimate testimonies that develop an alternative point of view, more dynamic, about body relationship to modern artefacts. At the heart of debates of the time about the place and role of industrial machinery, the position Le Corbusier holds reveals its complexity and uniqueness, which can be clarify through works and concepts specific of that time such as Eurythmics and the phenomenology of movement, notions of living work of art, sensation and measure. This encourages suggest a Corbusean, paradoxical, prosthetic design, allowing in return enrich the understanding of this ideology still very active, and also to contribute to a theory of dress in design, so slight on this subject. Resumen: Pedro Vieira de Almeida (Lisboa, 1933 – Matosinhos, 2011) es uno de los más importantes críticos y teóricos de la arquitectura en la segunda mitad del siglo XX en Portugal. En 1963, presenta en la Escuela de Bellas Artes de Oporto una tesis titulada “Ensayo sobre el espacio de la arquitectura”, influida por el pensamiento de Bruno Zevi. Hasta la Revolución de los Claveles (1974), va a compaginar su práctica profesional como arquitecto con una intensa actividad crítica ejercida sobre todo en periódicos y revistas culturales. Desde sus primeros trabajos se evidencia una notable capacidad de utilizar conceptos críticos innovadores en el análisis de obras de arquitectura, lo que será fundamental en sus estudios historicos desarrollados a lo largo de su vida, dados a conocer en publicaciones y exposiciones retrospectivas sobre arquitectos clave. Este ensayo propone una reflexión sobre el legado de Le Corbusier poniendo el aciento en algunos artículos de Vieira de Almeida escritos entre 1965 y 1970, así como en la investigación que ha llevado a cabo en los últimos años de su vida. Esta lectura diacrónica pone de relieve el papel central del maestro franco-suizo en la lectura crítica de Vieira de Almeida del racionalismo, a través de las nociones por él manejadas: “estructura crítica como condición base de la creación”, las vertientes poético-simbólica y mítica de la arquitectura o el concepto de carácter más instrumental de la “espesura”. Abstract: Pedro Vieira de Almeida (Lisbon, 1933 – Matosinhos, 2011) is one of the most prominent critics and theorists of architecture in the second half of the 20th century in Portugal. In 1963, he presented at the Oporto School of Fine Arts a thesis entitled “Essay on architectural space”, clearly influenced by the thoughts of Bruno Zevi. Until the Carnation Revolution (1974), he will combine his professional practice as an architect with an intense critical activity, developed mainly in newspapers and cultural magazines. Since his early work, a remarkable ability to use innovative concepts in the critical analysis of buildings have been put forth, with major consequences in his historiographical studies, developed throughout his life through publications or retrospective exhibitions on key architects. The following paper proposes a reflection on the legacy of Le Corbusier based on Vieira de Almeida’s theoretical work, linking some texts written between 1965 and 1970 with his research carried out in his last years of life. This diachronic study highlights the central role of Le Corbusier in Vieira de Almeida’s critical approach to rationalism, by means of notions as: “criticism as a basic condition of creation”, poetic-symbolic and mythical aspects of architecture, or the more instrumental concept of “thickness”.
