Abstract:
The first part of this thesis deals with the study of linear motors. The introduction of the thesis deals with the brief description of the linear motor, including its accessories. This part explains principle of linear motors, their general advantages and disadvantages. The next section contains an overview and division of the currently used linear motors. The second part deals with the theoretical description of forms of heat transfer. The third part of the thesis deals with the design of an equivalent thermal circuit model of a linear iron-core linear motor with permanent magnet. Hereafter, the proposed design will be used to calculate the temperatures of the individual motor units. The temperatures are later compared with the results obtained with finite element method.

Abstract:
This thesis deals with thermal calculation of asynchronous motor. The theoretical part deals with principles of heat transfer, which are important for thermal calculation. Another theoretical part describes asynchronous motor analysis and its loss. In the practical part, these losses together with the electromagnetic circuit are calculated. Subsequently, two thermal networks are created to calculate the warming of individual machine parts. To ensure the correctness of the result, a bound model of partial calculations of the asynchronous machine is created. The next step is to compare the calculated electrical quantities and the calculated temperatures with respect to the measured values.

Abstract:

Abstract:
This diploma thesis deals with the influence of long term thermal load on the stability of high-viscous resins used for dental composites matrix. The process of polymerization was also investigated in connection with type and ratio of monomer units, mass content of the initiator system and the presence of nanosilica filler. Prepared resins were characterized by differential compensation photocalorimetry (DPC) and dynamic mechanical analysis (DMA). The dependence of the heat flow on time was measured by DPC. Based on the experimental data, the dependence of conversion on time and the dependence of polymerization rate on conversion were determined. Viscoelastic properties of the cured resins were determined by DMA. Experimentally measured data implies that by the influence of elevated temperature both the degree of conversion and the polymerization rate decreased. With a higher content of the initiator system incorporated in resin the decrease was more significant. Therefore, we can conclude that when the resin was exposed to the elevated temperature one of the components of the initiator system was inactivated. For the photopolymerized resins presence of two glass transition temperatures is typical due to the inhomogenous morphology of the cured resin. There are two types of domains with varying relative composition. However, after the degradation only one glass transition temperature was detected. That was caused by reducing the resin viscosity due to the increased temperature. Higher mobility of the initiator system molecules and monomers itself resulted in more homogenous structure of the cured resin. In case of elevated temperature exposed resins more significant decrease of the elastic modulus was observed. The curing process is considerably influenced by the type and ratio of the monomer units and by the presence of filler.

Abstract:
This thesis is focused on creating an iterative model for thermal and hydraulic calculation of heating net in Visual Basic of Application. Flowing medium considered is hot water. Although data for heating network in Brno are recorded in this model, its use for any other heating network is possible. This model allows also calculation of minimal temperature of the source and calculation of heat loss of every consumer. This is very useful when considering, if supplying some of the consumers with the heat from a local source would not be more effective. The second part of this text is aimed to evaluation of different ways how to reduce the heat loss in heat network for source Červený mlýn. Both current situation and possibilities for the future are considered.

Abstract:
This master´s thesis deals with ventilation of synchronous generators with a cylindrical rotor. For the design of ventilation we apply basic physical laws in the field of hydromechanics and thermomechanics. Therefore the first chapters are devoted to these subjects. They are followed by the description of ventilation systems and a thermal net is created and solved for one of them consisting of the thermal resistance and sources. The final part deals with a program, which I developed in Visual Basic 2008 Express Edition. This program enables to calculate the ventilation and heating of individual parts of the machine after entering basic machine dimensions and losses.
