Abstract:
Polykrystalická diamantová vrstva (PCD) se jeví jako vhodná ochrana pro snížení chemické reaktivity zirkoniových slitin. Její aplikací by mohlo dojít k výraznému zvýšení odolnosti zirkonia proti vysokoteplotní korozi a rovněž vůči navodíkování. V této práci jsou zkoumány vzorky slitiny zirkonia Zry-2, které byly pokryty 300 nm tenkou vrstvou PCD a pre-exponovány v páře o teplotách 950 a 1150 °C. Pomocí ex-situ elektrochemické impedanční spektroskopie jsou studovány přenosové parametry a morfologie PCD vrstvy. Výsledky ukazují, že vzorky slitiny zirkonia Zry-2, které byly pokryty PCD vrstvou, korodují za vysokých teplot s nižší korozní rychlostí.

Abstract:
CZ: Přítomnost reziduí plastů v životním prostředí je v poslední době diskutována napříč společností kvůli zamořování oceánů a nedostatečné recyklaci plastových výrobků. Okem nepostřehnutelné mikroplasty, které se do vody dostávají užíváním produktů osobní péče a rozkladem syntetických polymerů nejsou v současnosti dostatečně odstraňovány při úpravě vody a mohou se dostávat do trávicího traktu konzumentů. Zdravotní rizika pro člověka nejsou doposud známá, přesto lze předpokládat, že bude výskyt mikroplastů ve vodách monitorován. Naším cílem bylo vypracování finančně dostupné a dostatečně přesné metody pro následnou analýzu mikroplastů ve vodách, jež by mohla být rutinně prováděna v kontrolních laboratořích. Vzorky vláken byly podrobeny předúpravě sloužící k izolaci syntetických mikrovláken od ostatních materiálů, které mohou způsobit zkreslení kvantitativní analýzy mikroplastů. Byla sledována reakce dvou testovaných materiálů na jejich expozici různým teplotním a oxidačním podmínkám s využitím peroxidu vodíku jako oxidačního činidla a změna barvy vláken. Jako optimální se jeví osmihodinová expozice vzorku v 30% roztoku peroxidu vodíku při teplotě 60 °C s následnou analýzou mikroplastů infračervenou spektroskopií (ATR-IR). Naše výsledky by mohly být využity při vytváření komplexní metodiky kvalitativního a kvantitativního hodnocení mikroplastů. EN: Occurrence of plastics in the natural environment is one of the hot topics in the area of environmental studies due to the ocean contamination and insufficient amount of plastics' recycling. Microplastics which cannot be seen by the naked eye are not effectively removed from the water during drinking water treatment and afterwards they enter the human body through the digestive tract. Even though there is no evidence of harmful effects on health, it is assumed that the presence of microplastics in water will be monitored. Our work was aimed on the development of a methodology for the pretreatment of synthetic microfibers based microplastics followed by their subsequent infrared analysis, which can be routine performed in laboratories. Microfibers were subjected to various thermal and oxidative conditions, where hydrogen peroxide was used as an oxidizing agent. Effects of the exposure on changes in chemical structure and colour of fibres were analysed. Optimal exposure conditions for plastic microfibers' pretreatment concerns the exposure in 30% solution of hydrogen peroxide at 60 °C for 8 hours followed by infrared spectroscopy (ATR-IR). We believe that our results can be utilized for the creating complex methodology of qualitative and quantitative microplastics' evaluation.

Abstract:
Numerical simulation is a scientific method used to describe characteristics of examined system by means of experiments on its mathematical model. This thesis uses this method to elucidate the processes taking place in two different systems. Firstly it deals with the design of air conditioning systems for buildings, focusing on the mixing chambers. It focuses on the formation of condensation of water vapor in mixing chambers under conditions where the final temperature of the mixture does not drop below the saturation curve. Second prepared topic falls within the field of thermodynamics applied in food production. In order to assess the sufficiency of air-cooling method examines the thermal field in the product and evaluates the application of air-cooling assembly line in practice.

Abstract:
Lead –acid batteries are the most common type of secondary cells used in automotive industry. This diploma thesis deals with the influence of temperature on their lifetime. In the preamble of this work is shortly described their history, division, construction and processes during battery operation. There are noted unfavorable phenomena which have an impact on increasing the temperature inside the battery. The first experimental part is devoted to evaluation the effects of addition on the temperature rise during charging. The second part is focused on conditions simulation in hot areas at the temperature above 30 °C and effects of this temperature on the function of lead – acid batteries.

The oldest and also most used type of secondary cells is lead-acid accumulator. Basic functional principle stayed same as in foundation time, only operation parameters are still improving (for example one of the most important is lifetime). Significant technical problem is temperature of lead-acid battery and her influence on functionality and running reactions. Master thesis is focused on this section, when is necessary to evaluate new pieces of knowledge in development. The work deals with description existing types of accumulators, further deals with theory of temperature balance and in the end by measured datas and theirs analyzing.

Presented work deals with heat transfer and its methods. At the beginning thesis describes the theory and the ways of heat transfer with connected quantities and equations. Then it explains the stack effect and impact of temperature on electro technical device. In work is also described ABB driver ACS line and calculation of heat transfer according to IEC 60890 standard. In the practical part there is the calculation of heat transfer in Flow Simulation simulating CFD program solved and finite element method is mentioned. Important part of work is devoted to setting and optimization of simulation. In conclusion are made some changes of construction of driver, dependence on heat transfer is inspected.

Abstract:
The introduction of this paper describes three thermoeletrical effects and their properties. It also deals with thermoelectrical cells, which are using Seebeck´s and Peltrier´s effects. The paper decribes principles how the Peltier´s cells work, their mathematical model, construction and practical use. The paper shows what kinds, shapes and output we can meet at the market and which kinds of parameters regulate their selection. The paper suggests the possibility to measure characteristic behaviour and quantity during laboratories tasks and their evaluations. At the conclusion is adduced the suggestion of laboratory task together with theoretically made pilot protocol.

Abstract:
The doctoral thesis discusses the measurement of parameters of piezoelectric (PZT) materials and the influence of temperature on their stability. In the introductory sections, the author briefly explains the piezoelectric effect and its use; simultaneously, methods for the preparation of piezoelectric materials and the measurement of their properties are presented to illustrate the analyzed problem. The experimental part of the thesis describes the procedure of measuring and calculating the complete matrix of material coefficients from samples of PZT ceramics. The applied set of piezoelectric samples complying with relevant European and world standards was made in the form of thin plates, thin discs and cylinders, via gradual modification of the large disc. The NCE51 and/or the older PCM51 ceramics obtained from the company Noliac Ceramics were used in determining the complete matrix and describing the measurement method. Both these types are soft piezoceramics composed from a solid solution of lead zirconate and lead titanate with the general chemical formula of Pb(Zr1-x,Tix)O3. The real crystallographic structure and chemical composition of the samples were confirmed by X-ray diffraction spectroscopy and energy dispersive spectroscopy (EDS), respectively. The frequency method was used for the measurement and calculation of all material coefficients. An Agilent 4294A impedance analyzer and a set of measuring tweezers marketed as “Tweezers Contact Test Fixture 16334A” were used in the process. Fast determination of the entire matrix of coefficients without any special requirement for the preparation of the samples to be measured was tested and verified. The charge coefficients of the piezoelectric material were confirmed by direct methods including the laser interferometer technique, the vibrometric method, and the procedure utilizing changes of the force applied to the sample. The advantages and disadvantages of the methods were compared and defined based on measurements and their results. The main part of thesis was focused on the behavior of piezoelectric material at high temperatures near the Curie point. Depolarization performed by means of a high temperature approaching the Curie point constitutes a significant yet hardly measurable material property of PZT ceramics. Commonly available vibrometric methods (d33-meters) do not appear to be suitable for the measurement of temperature dependencies, and for that reason the frequency technique was used. The piezoelectric charge coefficient, whose value can be effectively measured via the above-discussed frequency method, was selected as the indicator showing the depolarization state in the applied piezoelectric ceramics. The accuracy of the procedure was verified via comparison of the vibrometric method in cylinders of the NCE51 ceramics with different sizes, which are designed for the longitudinal length mode. The result is an optimized measurement methodology which facilitates accurate determination of the Curie temperature, namely phase transition to the cubic crystallographic structure. The experiment also proved the applicability of progressive, controlled depolarization of PZT ceramics via high temperature, and it also enabled us to define the temperature limits at which there occur irreversible changes of the piezoelectric properties of piezoceramics. In the measured NCE51 and PCM51 materials, the limit for the irreversible changes was equal to 95% of the Curie temperature.

The submitted thesis describes characteristics and use of ferroelectric materials which find their utilization in electrotechnical and electronics industry. The thesis is mainly aimed at their behaviour in the electrical field at various intensity. The method using an osciloscope is selected for measuring. For the main measuring in part of this thesis was produced experimental wafer with five samples which were subsequently mesuared. The VEE PRO program was used for creating of collecting datas for histeresis loop and it’s functionality was checked on wafer with five examples in measuring. During this measuring was also measured electric tension dependence of components of complex permittivity.
