Abstract:
Barevné vrstvy uměleckých děl stejně jako všechny materiály jsou rovněž předmětem přirozeného stárnutí. Vliv vnějších faktorů na tyto vrstevnaté systémy uměleckých děl ale dosud nebyl systematicky studován. Hlavním cílem této práce bylo sledování chování akvarelů, jako vybraného zástupce malířské techniky na papíře, v podmínkách umělého stárnutí běžně používaných při studiu degradace papíru (umělé stárnutí v přítomnosti NO2, umělé stárnutí vlhkým teplem a termické stárnutí). Testovány byly vzorky akvarelů na ručním papíře a dřevitém balicím papíře připravené z pigmentu (pruská modř, francouzský okr, ultramarín, brazilské dřevo a řešetlák) a arabské gumy. U připravených vzorků akvarelů byly po expozici podmínkám umělého stárnutí vyhodnoceny změny jejich optických vlastností (celková barevná diference, UV-VIS reflexní křivky, elektronová mikroskopie) a chemického složení (změny hodnot pH, rentgenová difrakční analýza, ATR-FTIR spektroskopie a Ramanova spektroskopie). Významné změny byly detekovány ve vzorcích akvarelů s pigmentem měděnka vůči všem testovaným podmínkám umělého stárnutí související s detekovanými změnami chemického složení. Experimentálně byl také prokázán významný vliv atmosféry NO2 u vzorků akvarelů s organickými laky.

Abstract:
The article presents an experimental model of a modular structure system for the production of thermal energy and the results of conducting specific tests. The experimental model uses two renewable energy sources - solar energy and energy generated by burning biomass - to provide thermal energy for an increased duration, regardless of the atmospheric factors. Properly sized, the system can be designed as a series product, in a variety of powers, to be used by heat suppliers, and also by individuals, especially the ones from remote areas, who want to ensure their thermal energy independence by using renewable energy.

Abstract:
Este artigo trata o problema de controle de conforto térmico para ocupantes de edificações. Conforto térmico e um conceito de difícil definição e neste trabalho, utilisa-ze índice PMV (Predicted Mean Vote) para sua avaliação. Através deste índice, duas estratégias de controle preditivo caracterizadas por ter restrições terminais, denominadas aqui de PMV-MBPC (PMV Model Based Predictive Controller), são apresentadas. Na primeira estratégia, a gestão do conforto termico é realizada através da geração de sinais de referêsencia para o controlador, que otimiza o valor de PMV dentro de uma zona térmica da edificação. Na segunda, o modelo de PMV está incluso nos cálculos de previsão do controlador, gerando um modelo não-linear com estrutura Wiener. Resultados relacionados com a garantia de estabilidade do sistema em malha fechada são propostos. Neste contexto, um ambiente para testes (célula-teste) de sistemas de controle é descrita e a primeira abordagem é então implementada em tempo real neste ambiente usando um aquecedor a óleo. Resultados experimentais ilustram o desempenho do sistema controle para conforto térmico. Adicionalmente, resultados de simulação, conduzidos com dados climáticos horários, ilustram também o desempenho dos algoritmos de controle.

Abstract:
The Caçapava do Sul region, State of Rio Grande do Sul, is characterized by the occurrence of a granitic batholith (Caçapava Granite) that is surrounded by a belt of metamorphites belonging to the Porongos Group, assigned to Upper Precanbrian by RIBEIRO et alii (1966). Among the metamorphites occur a carbonatic rock body, lens shaped, with clear contacts, interpenetrated by granitic apophises and with an outcrop of about 17 km2. The study of the metamorphism showed that these rocks were affected termically by the Caçapava Granite and its apophises, as become evident by the metamorphic zoneation in rocks belonging to a Piroxene Hornfels Facies, near the contact, and Albita-Epidoto Hornfels Facies, placed farther away. The structure generaly isotropic, the preservation of the polimorphous orthoclase, the contemporariness of the granitic body and its wall rocks (Brazilian Cicle) and having in view hat the wall rocks belong to a Green Schists Facies (BITENCOURT, 1983), make evident the shallow emplacement of the Caçapava Granite and allow to estimate the highest metamorphic temperatures at about 560°C. The total pressure and the pressure of fluid phase were estimated at 1.000 bars, which also conforms to the shallow emplacement (3 - 4 km) of the granitic body. The analyses of the metamorphism of these rocks, based on T – XCO2 diagrams for the CaO-MgO-SiO2-CO2-H2O system, maked evidente equilibrium and disequilibrium paragenesis which conforms to the Caçapava granitic magma that didn't favour an homogeneous termic distribution and of long duration.

Abstract:
This thesis describes utilisation of test reference year for design and evaluation of solar thermal system. The evaluation was performed on a solar thermal system of a single-family house in Rapotice, Czechia. Long-term monitoring of the system as well as indoor and outdoor climate were performed there. Measured data were compared with test reference year and data in Meteonorm database. Selected boundary conditions of the solar thermal system were compared with numerical simulations in Polysun. The results of the comparison were statistically analysed. Results of the simulations utilizing test reference year were closer to the on-site measurements than dates from Meteonorm. Therefore it could be concluded that test reference year is the best database of climate data for design of solar thermal system in Czechia.

Abstract:
The master’s thesis deals with technologies for energy utilisation of waste with annual treatment capacity approximately from 10 to 50 kt/year and their application in regions of the Czech Republic. In the first part of the thesis the results of heat consumption analysis in seven regions of the CR are introduced while in two selected regions a production of waste was analyzed too. The main part deals with the design of technological solution of waste-to-energy plant with medium capacity and its integration to specific conditions of the two selected regions. Alternatives of combined heat supply were assessed from waste-to-energy plant as well. A basic economic analysis that contains the estimates of incomes and capital expenditures and operating expense is a part of this thesis too.

Abstract:
Stárnutí teplonosných kapalin na organické bázi je dlouhodobým problémem, který je znám od počátku jejich používání. První část této disertační práce je tak věnována případové studii funkčního experimentálního systému, který byl jako nový naplněn teplonosnou kapalinou na bázi propan-1,2-diol a pozorován po období 7 let. Pro analýzu stárnutí kapaliny v tomto systému byly sledovány základní provozní vlastnosti kapaliny jako jsou hustota, viskozita, teplota tuhnutí, pH a obsah kovů. Skrze tyto vlastnosti tak bylo sledováno stárnutí kapaliny nepřímo. Přímé sledování stárnutí bylo posléze provedeno analýzou degradačních produktů, jako jsou organické kyseliny a změny ve složení směsi pomocí izotachoforézy a hmotnostní spektrometrie. Pro srovnání byly taktéž analyzovány vybrané vzorky z několik dalších systémů plněných identickou kapalinou s prokazatelně pokročilou formou degradace. V druhé části práce jsou představeny základní fyzikálně-chemické vlastnosti směsí propan-1,3-diolu s vodou a jejich analytické hodnocení a matematické modelování pro universální použití jakožto nového základu pro nemrznoucí teplonosné kapaliny. Na základě dostupných informací je pak hodnocena použitelnost této směsi. Výhoda propan-1,3-diolu je spatřována především ve výrobě z obnovitelných zdrojů a v některých fyzikálních a chemických vlastnostech, které dle dosavadních poznatků předčívají doposud používané glykolové směsi.

The diploma thesis deals with elaboration of project solar thermal and photovoltaic solar systems for all-season service. The theoretical part focuses on the general description of the solar thermal and photovoltaic systems, legislation of renewable sources in the Czech Republic and the status of photovoltaics in the Czech Republic. The experimental part deals with the design of measures for energy saving by using solar energy systems. These measures are proposed for construction of houses in Podolí u Brna, especially on extra-family house. The aim of the work is to make a proportioning, choosing the right parts and calculating the economic and ecologic balance. Finally, thesis gives recommendations for further action in saving energy in houses in Podolí u Brna.

Abstract:
Batteries play an important role in a sustainable future. As the development for better andsmarter batteries continues, new areas of use emerge boosting its demand. Controlling thetemperature of a battery cell is a vital objective to ensure its longevity and performance. Bothcooling and heating methods can be applied to keep the temperature within a certain rangedepending on its need. This study will review the technical aspects of lithium-ion batteries,observe the different thermal management systems and cooling methods, and lastly examinethe required cooling flow needed for a battery cell to prevent its temperature from rising tocritical levels during its discharge. Using CFD ANSYS Fluent as a simulation tool, the resultsshow that different charging rates, in terms of C-rate, require different rates of mass flow tocontrol the temperature. Simulating the cell with natural convection, the cell peaks at hightemperatures even at lower C-rates, reaching up to 36,4°C and 48,8°C for 1C and 2C,respectively. Applying the cooling method with a flow rate of 0,0077kg/s reduces thetemperature significantly, resulting in temperatures of 26,95°C and 31,27°C for 1C and 2C,respectively.

The theoretical part focuses on the formation, transport of solar radiation and its availability in the Czech Republic. There are also discussed solar thermal systems and components of these systems, including their use. Project part addresses two design options of heating the hotel building. The first version is aimed at the common solution in the form of heating radiators with the source in the form of gas boiler and solar hot water. The second option solves superior solutions in the form of heating and cooling ceilings in the form of heat source heat pumps and solar heating support. Experimental solutions are focused on monitoring the operational status of the experimental solar devices and evaluation of operating characteristics of the device.

Abstract:
The dissertation thesis is focused on the issue of energy recovery of waste. It contributes to optimization models developed in the author's workplace in the long term, which serve to simulate material flows in waste management and to search for an optimal waste management strategy. The main objective is to assess the potential for the use of heat produced in waste-to-energy plants as a key factor for the economy of these facilities. The thesis therefore represents an activity on the border of the fields of waste management and heating. Partial mathematical models were developed within the scope, for which it was necessary to collect input data, especially in relation with district heating networks. These models were then used in a comprehensive optimization model describing the integration of waste-to-energy plants with other heat sources. This main model was extended to include the environmental aspect.

This thesis evaluates the connection of solar collectors with heat pump. The work demonstrates meaningful use of solar collector to increase cooling efficiency of the heat pump. Introduction The work introduces the reader to the issue and describes basic principles of the two main sources of energy used in the system - the heat pump and solar system. Next session is dedicated to analysis and evaluation of the data that was measured during system operation. A comparison of measured COP of the heat pump at two different modes of operation was used for the evaluation - with the help of the solar system and without using the solar system.
