Terrace farming is one of the most important phenomena of Armenian culture. The function of agricultural terraces is to prevent soil erosion. Thanks to them, are appropriated the steep slopes of the mountains. Terracing is important to manage water flow, slowing runoff. Abstract Terraces, as agricultural heritage, reflect a value system related to both nature and humanity. The Zhuang ethnic villages in China hold significant representativeness and research value concerning minority villages and agricultural heritage. Currently, research on the spatial forms of these terraced minority villages is extremely limited, and they encounter challenges related to inheritance and sustainable development. Currently, integrated design emphasises natural ventilation as the primary building design element. In India, the idea of terraced housing is resurfacing in metropolitan areas. Stone wall terraces are a largely investigated topic in research for both their landscape and cultural/historical value. Terraces are anthropogenic landforms that interact with natural processes and need permanent maintenance to preserve their functionality. In the Mediterranean region, ground effects related to intense rain events often involve terraced slopes that, in some situations, are directly sourced areas of debris/mud flow. Starting from the 1950s, the changing socio-economic conditions caused the abandonment of large portions of rural areas. Nowadays, at the catchment scale, it is fr

With the introduction of mechanization in agriculture, the area of terraced slopes has increased. However, in most cases, the planning of terracing in practice remains experience-based, which is no longer effective from an agricultural, geological, and hydrological point of view. The usual method of building terraces, especially terraces with earth risers, is therefore outdated, and a new method must be found for planning and building terraced areas. As the risk factors used features such as the relative position of the epicenters of tsunamigenic earthquakes and the coast, the underwater terrain coast, the degree of closeness of the studied bays, the presence or absence of wide beach and the first marine terraces, flowing into the characteristics of the studied coast estuaries. The factors subjected to expert estimates, taking into account their influence on the formation of the risk of a tsunami. The characteristics of

Abstract:
Geochemical and temporal characterization of magmatic rocks is an effective way to test terrane definitions and to evaluate tectonic models. In the northern Cordillera, magmatic episodes are mostly interpreted as products of continental arc and back-arc settings. Re-evaluation of Paleozoic and Late Mesozoic magmatic episodes presented herein highlights fundamental gaps in the understanding of the tectonic framework of the northern Cordillera. In many cases, the character of magmatism and temporal relationships between various magma types do not support existing tectonic models. The present re-
