Abstract:
Notre étude porte sur deux échantillons de patients Tunisiens : un groupe clinique composé de sujets (N = 41) diagnostiqués trouble de personnalité limite par leur psychiatre en référence aux critères du DSM-IV (APA, 2003) et un groupe témoin composé de patients schizophrènes (N = 27). Nous avons utilisé le test de Rorschach en Système intégré (Exner, 1993) et avons fixé comme premier objectif de dégager les caractéristiques du fonctionnement des patients limites au Rorschach selon les paramètres de l’organisation limite de la personnalité décrits par Kernberg (1997). Notre deuxième objectif est de vérifier si le fonctionnement de ces sujets, tel que traduit dans le Rorschach, permet de les différencier des sujets schizophrènes. Le troisième objectif est d’étudier, par une approche test re-test avec un intervalle de 6 à 9 mois, la stabilité des variables du Rorschach à travers le temps. Les résultats de notre étude montrent que les protocoles des patients limites diffèrent par rapport à certaines variables-clés (7 variables) de ceux des schizophrènes. Ces variables constituent des indicateurs pertinents du fonctionnement limite. Néanmoins, nous avons relevé une hétérogénéité à l’intérieur de notre échantillon de sujets limites. En effet, plusieurs niveaux de fonctionnements ont émergé à l’intérieur de ce groupe. Par ailleurs, il n’y a pas eu de différence significative entre la plupart des variables en T1 et T2 aussi bien chez les sujets limites que les schizophrènes. This study concerns two samples of Tunisian patients: a clinical group (N = 41) with subjects who received a diagnosis of Borderline personality disorder in reference to DSM-IV (APA, 2003) by their psychiatrist and a control group of schizophrenic patients (N = 27). We used the Rorschach comprehensive system (Exner, 1993) in order to identify, as a first purpose, the characteristics of the Rorschach’s borderline functioning based on the Kernberg’s description of the borderline organisation (1997). In parallel, we aimed, to verify whether the Rorschach’s functioning characteristics are able to distinguish our clinical group from the Schizophrenic group. Furthermore, both of groups were tested once in the beginning of our study and again, with an interval of 6 at 9 months in order to study the stability of the Rorschach’s variables. The results indicated that seven (7) variables distinguish our group of Borderline subjects from the schizophrenics. These variables represent highly relevant indicators of borderline functioning. Nevertheless, our clinical group is heterogeneous. In fact, different ranges of functioning have emerged. Elsewhere, there is no significant difference between the most variables in T1 and T2 but the stability may differ depending on the underlying functioning

Le mystère de la maniaco-dépression allie la complexité de la dépression à l’effervescence de la manie qui s’achève sur une période, encore plus troublante ; celle des périodes de rémission dont le statut psychique ne peut être assimilé à la normalité (Jeammet, 1999). Qu’en est-il alors de cette stabilisation provisoire ? Quelles informations peut-elle nous apporter concernant le fonctionnement psychique sous-jacent à la maniaco-dépression ? A l’hôpital RAZI-Manouba, nous avons rencontré 12 patients dont le consentement éclairé nous a permis d’apporter des réponses à la question de l’hétérogénéité dans la maniaco-dépression. Nous avons aussi découvert, au fur et à mesure du dépouillement des projectifs (Rorschach et TAT), la présence d’une dimension paranoïaque, plus ou moins marquée, chez les sujets, sans oublier la coloration culturelle que prend la psychopathologie, dans le contexte tunisien. Dans une perspective psychanalytique, nous interrogeons les différents modèles théoriques afin d’éclairer les processus à l’œuvre dans la mélancolie et dans la manie. L’investigation menée lors de la période de rémission pose la question du fonctionnement limite, de la psychose et de la limite entre les deux entités diagnostiques. En associant la métapsychologie psychanalytique théorique à l’analyse détaillée des outils projectifs, nous tentons de dresser un tableau du fonctionnement psychique sous-jacent à la maniaco-dépression, en Tunisie
The mystery of maniaco-depression is tightly associated with the effervescence of habit taking shape throughout an unstable course marked by episodes of remission where one’s psychological state is far from being considered normal (Jeammet, 1999). So, how can we account for such temporary stability? What sort of information can this psychological mecanisme underlying maniac-depression bring to us? At the RAZI hospital in Manouba, our consented meetings with 12 patients allowed us to collect evidence attendant to the question of heterogeneity in maniac-depression. We also found during the analysis of the data some evidence of paranoia variable in degree among the informants. Equally found was evidence for cultural variance of psychopathology in the Tunisian context. The investigation conducted during the remission period questioned the functioning of psychosis and borderline functioning

Abstract:
This thesis is a metacritical survey of the criticism on Sue Bridehead’s portrayal in Thomas Hardy’s novel Jude the Obscure, from the time of its publication in 1895 to now, and is intended to be a comprehensive overview and analysis of the major critical lines of enquiry about Sue’s characterisation. Since the scope of this thesis is to engage with over one hundred years of literary criticism, I keep the focus concentrated primarily on the critical responses to the depiction of Sue. I discuss the reasons behind the sustained critical interest in her; and show how she has global appeal in unifying as well as differentiating reader-responses, and opening up new modes of theoretical analysis surrounding the complexity of her representation. The objective of this study is to demonstrate how Sue’s enigmatic characterisation effectually serves the purpose of a Rorschach test. I display how analysing her representation makes readers and critics commit to certain positions. This leads to a plurality in the critical responses - a development that is facilitated by Hardy, who leaves deliberate narrative gaps in the novel. I discuss how this creates the space for the readers to fill the textual gaps with their own presuppositions, and cultural and theoretical beliefs, while analysing Sue’s portrayal. This thesis draws on Hardy’s letters, literary notebooks, and biographies to contextualise the portrayal of Sue, as a supplement to the main body of analysis of the critical material on Sue that is available in book, essay and article forms. Finally, I suggest a way forward in critical studies of Hardy’s works using Sue’s portrayal as a case study through the application of the theoretical framework of ‘transculturalism’. This research seeks to contribute to the body of Hardy scholarship by providing an overview of the existing critical commentary on Sue, while emphasising the ongoing contemporaneity of his most controversial characterisation.

En dépit de ses qualités, le Rorschach en Système Intégré présente des problèmes psychométriques substantiels que le nouveau système Rorschach Performance Assessment System (R-PAS) ne permet pas de résoudre. Aussi, l’objectif principal de la thèse que nous défendons est de développer une approche psychométrique du Rorschach qui soit satisfaisante sur les plans statistique et clinique. Une Analyse Parallèle et Une Analyse en Composantes Principales réalisée sur un échantillon normatif de 695 participants Belges, Français et Finlandais permet de définir un modèle du Rorschach en 12 Composantes. Si ces dimensions sont cohérentes avec les principes de cotation et les connaissances empiriques sur le Rorschach, elles font également apparaître certaines difficultés de cotation, des aspects du Rorschach qui ont été négligés dans la recherche, de même qu’elles remettent en question certains indices du Système Intégré. Ce modèle est appliqué à deux problèmes empiriques : l’expression de particularités culturelles au Rorschach et la capacité du test à identifier des stratégies de résolution de problème (qui est un aspect central du Système Intégré). Les normes américaines du Système Intégré ainsi que les normes internationales du R-PAS ne peuvent s’appliquer de manière universelle et il faut donc recourir à des valeurs de références nationales. De plus, le Rorschach ne permet pas d’identifier des stratégies de résolution de problème de manière fiable. Ces études montrent que certains principes fondamentaux du Système Intégré et du R-PAS sont à remettre en question et qu’il est nécessaire de développer un nouveau système d’interprétation du Rorschach selon une approche psychométrique
In spite of its quailties, the Rorschach Comprehensive System (RCS) presents substantial psychometric issues which are not solved by the new Rorschach Performance Assessment System (R-PAS). Thus, the main objective of this dissertation is to develop a satisfying psychometrical approach of the Rorschach test. A Parallel Analysis and a Principal Component Analysis performed on a normative sample of 695 Belgian, French and Fins participants define a 12 Components model of the Rorschach. If these dimensions are coherent with scoring principles and empirical evidences for the Rorschach they also reveal some scoring issues, neglected aspects of the Rorschach in the research field as well as they question the validity of some indices of the RCS. This model was applied to two empirical problems : the cross-cultural study of the Rorschach and its ability to assess problem solving strategies (which is a key feature of the RCS). The american norms of the RCS and the international reference values of the R-PAS cannot be used universally and it is necessary to use national norms. Moreover, the Rorschach does not assess problem solving strategies in a satisfying manner. These studies demonstrate that some fondamental principles of the RCS and the R-PAS must be questionned and the necessity to develop a new interpretation system for the Rorschach based on a psychometrical approach

Además, se trabajó con los programas académicos de los cursos de Técnicas Proyectivas de 8 Universidades tradicionales y privadas, que fueron dictados entre los años 1969 al 2014, permitiendo de este modo contar con una visión histórica de la relevancia que han adquirido las nociones de normalidad y anormalidad a través de los años. Se presentarán los resultados abordando el plano discursivo y el de la práctica profesional de los psicólogos, permitiendo dilucidar cuál es el lugar que ocupa el test de Rorschach para estos profesionales. La première partie de la thèse (tome 1) s'attache à l'étude d'une démarche méthodologique dans l'utilisation du Rorschach en clinique adulte, selon deux objectifs : le premier vise l'analyse pluridimensionnelle des apports du Rorschach dans l'exploration du fonctionnement psychique humain ; le second tend à établir les articulations entre le modèle théorique offert par la psychanalyse et ses applications possibles dans le domaine des épreuves projectives. Ainsi le cadre de la situation projective est défini, l'analyse du contenu manifeste et du contenu latent du matériel est précisée. Par ailleurs l'étude des facteurs Rorschach est exposée en termes de conduites psychiques ce qui permet d'analyser les caractéristiques de fonctionnement individuel dans une perspective dynamique. La seconde partie de la thèse (tome 2) met à l'épreuve cette démarche d'analyse et d'interprétation en l'appliquant à la psychopathologie, et notamment aux trois grandes entités que constituent la névrose, la pathologie du narcissisme et la psychose. The first part of the thesis (volume I) sets out to expound a methodological approach to the use of the Rorschach in the diagnosis of adult diseases, with two objectives. Firstly, it aims at a pluridimentional analysis of the contribution of the Rorschach to the exploration of the human psychic functioning. Secondly, it attempts to establish the links between the theoretical model provided by psychoanalysis and its possible applications in the field of projective tests. Therefore the framework of the projective situation is defined and the analysis of both manifest content and latent content of the material is specified. Moreover, the study of the Rorschach factors is explained in terms of psychic behaviors, an analysis of the characteristics of the individual functioning in a dynamic perspective is thus made possible. The second part of the thesis (volume 2) tests the analysis and interpretation approach by applying it to psychopathology and particularly to the three main areas of neurosis, pathology of narcissism and psychosis. The research brings out the fundamental constructions which characterize these mental organizations through the Rorschach : in the area of neurosis, the common features of the neurotic systems are examined through the analysis of the intra-psychic conflict and its rendering in terms of the Rorschach ; in the area of narcissism, particular signs (overinvestment in one’s barriers, refusal of the inner source of the pulsion, specular representations of the relations, white anguish) are brought out and interpreted in the light of recent psychoanalytic works; in the area of psychosis, trouble with the process of thought is studied thoroughly, particularly in relation to the representation of the body and the early relations, marked by discontinuity and attacks against the links. Thirty-three children from a community sample, ages 5 to 13, were administered the Rorschach Inkblot Test, along with projective Draw-an-Animal and Draw-a-Person tasks and other psychological measures. Subjects were randomly assigned to one of three test order conditions: Draw-an-Animal followed by the Rorschach, Draw-a-Person followed by the Rorschach, and Rorschach before any other projective test. The number of Human and Animal contents in the test records was examined. Analysis showed no significant differences among the three groups for production of the content variables, suggesting that the Rorschach Inkblot Test is relatively robust with respect to test order effects.

Cent vingt-neuf etudiants philippins ont passe un certain nombre de tests pour verifier l'hypothese selon laquelle l'extraversion en psychologie differentielle et l'extratension au test de rorschach sont liees l'une a l'autre. Pour operationnaliser le modele d'extraversion mettant l'accent sur l'impulsivite au sens large du terme (a savoir, la spontaneite, le caractere aventureux, l'activite) nous avons fait passer le eysenck personality questionnaire-revised ; le questionnaire 17 de h. J. Et s. B. G. Eysenck ; et l'echelle de reflexion de guilford-zimmerman temperament survey. Pour operationnaliser le type de modele mettant plus d'accent sur l'affect positif, nous avons fait passer la version philippine du neo pi-r de costa et mccrae. En faisant les calculs sur l'echantillon entier nous avons obtenu une correlation avec l'extratension de 0,20 (p < 0,05) pour l'echelle de costa et mccrae et de 0,24 (p < 0,05) pour l'echelle de eysenck. Sur les quartiles extremes de l'extratension, cette correlation monte a 0,35 (p < 0,01) pour l'echelle de costa et mccrae et a 0,40 ( p <0,001) pour l'echelle de eysenck. Les aspects de l'extraversion les plus lies a l'extratension semblent etre l'affect positif tourne vers autrui (la chaleur, la gregarite et les emotions positives) et l'activite. Ces aspects de l'extraversion, ainsi que les deux echelles d'extraversion sont tous correles positivement avec les reponses c et negativement avec les reponses k. La formule d'extratension --- sigma c - sigma k --se montre generalement plus fortement correlee avec l'extraversion que ne l'est la note sigma c ou la note sigma k. Nos resultats suggerent des nouvelles possibilites pour conceptualiser la mesure d'extratension, sur le plan structurel ainsi que causal, basees sur son lien avec l'extraversion que nous avons demontre.

Abstract:
The Rorschach ink blot test was first developed by Hermann Rorschach in 1921. This thesis explains the history of the test in Britain throughout the 20th century. This is a history of a test which has power, is able to do things, and has become embedded into popular culture like no other. My approach to this history in this thesis is critical and interdisciplinary: I borrow from Psychology, History, Sociology, Gender Studies and Comic Studies. I use a particular queer feminist lens through which to approach this research and in doing so I aim to tell a more hidden history. I pay particular attention to the marginal, invisible and ‘white spaces’ of the history of the Rorschach. In regards to these ‘white spaces’ I specifically consider where the ink from the blots has metaphorically ‘bled’ in and out of Psychology. Chapter 1 introduces the thesis as a whole and based on this, Chapter 2 provides the theoretical underpinnings of the thesis and situates it within the history of Psychology more generally. Chapter 3 provides the core British history of the Rorschach. This is developed further in Chapter 4, where I pay closer attention to queer women and develop my own form of analysis for the history of Psychology. Chapter 5 provides a specific analysis of the graphic novel Watchmen which I argue exemplifies a significant ‘loop’ of Psychology into popular culture, and Chapter 6 concludes the thesis. In all, I provide an account of the Rorschach in Britain which allows for those who used the Rorschach; those who were tested with it; and the public; to be included. I argue that this interdisciplinary study of the history of the Rorschach test in Britain exemplifies what is possible when the marginal aspects of history are included. Consequentially, this has the power to allow historians of Psychology to re-imagine more normative histories. After all the Rorschach is all about imagination.

Procuramos estabelecer através do processo-resposta Rorschach, o acesso aos mitos pessoais. Para identificar os mitos pessoais no Rorschach propusemos uma metodologia assente na construção de uma grelha que denominamos por grelha psicomítica enquanto estruturadora da narrativa do sujeito testado. Através de uma revisão teórica onde procurámos estabelecer a natureza e essência do mito tal como expresso no estruturalismo, na psicanálise e no índice do presente trabalho, avançámos os pressupostos epistemológicos subjacentes à construção da grelha psicomítica rorschachiana identificadora dos mitos pessoais no aparelho psíquico. O material usado como exercício de demonstração consistiu num protocolo retirado de uma das obras de Chabert (1998/2000), protocolo de um indivíduo de nome Régis, diagnosticado como portador de uma esquizofrenia paranóide. Na aplicação da grelha a este protocolo, o teste Rorschach foi, entendido como um processo semiótico assente numa constante transformação de mitos pessoais entre si. A dinâmica desta transformação foi demonstrada através da fórmula canónica dos psicomitos, de Lévi-Strauss (1955/1970) e do conceito de série complementar ou equação etiológica das neuroses, de Freud (1916-17/1981), enquanto conceitos subjacentes à grelha dos psicomitos. Seguindo as transformações dos psicomitos de Régis determinámos no fim qual o mito pessoal prevalecente que presidia temporariamente ao seu aparelho mental na altura da aplicação do teste. Concluímos com o conceito de «transformações psicomitológicas» enquanto paradigma de análise do Rorschach.

Cette recherche s'appuie sur 24 ans de pratique de psychologue en centre hospitalier psychiatrique. Elle concerne les patients psychotiques hallucines dont l'etude a ete menee dans le cadre d'hospitalisations et de prises en charge therapeutiques extra, hospitalieres. L'analyse phenomene-structurale a servi de methode a l'examen psychologique des patients. L'outil privilegie en a ete le rorschach auquel ont ete joints le reve eveille dirige et l'expression grapho-picturale, completes par l'observation clinique et l'entretien. Apres la presentation du courant theorique de reference, la these developpe l'analyse de huit observations extraites de la population des patients hallucines examines (plus de 200). Cette demarche s'enrichit de la confrontation avec l'oeuvre d'un peintre hallucine: augustin lesage. Les observations croisent une double approche, synchronique et diachronique: elles exploitent la comparaison de donnees recueillies a la meme epoque aux differentes epreuves et prennent en compte la dimension evolutive par le recours aux examens repetes sur plusieurs annees. Les resultats mettent en evidence, chez les hallucines, la specificite d'un type de vision en images caracterise par ce qui a ete denomme le "detaillage" et des modalites expressives singulieres, en rapport avec le detaillage, touchant a l'elaboration et la realisation des productions graphiques, picturales et langagieres. Cette recherche se propose d'elargir son champ de reflexion par l'approfondissement de l'etude du langage en reference a l'approche linguistique de renonciation.

El presente estudio se centró en el análisis de la relación entre personalidad y elección vocacional en jóvenes universitarios del último año de estudios de una universidad particular de Lima. El objetivo fue describir y comparar las características de personalidad más saltantes en cuatro facultades distintas: ingeniería, economía, derecho y educación, de donde se obtuvo un total de 120 participantes. Para ello se utilizó el Psicodiagnóstico de Rorschach, codificado e interpretado de acuerdo al Sistema Comprehensivo de Exner. Los resultados indicaron tendencias o estilos de respuesta distintos en los cuatro grupos, además de características comunes en todos ellos. Destacó el grupo de ingeniería, con un estilo cognitivo particularmente diferente al de los otros grupos.

Os transtornos psicoticos, de um modo geral, e em especial a esquizofrenia, exercem um impacto patente na qualidade de vida do individuo com estes sintomas, afetando seu bemestar, sua ocupacao profissional e sua relacao com a comunidade. Quanto mais cedo se inicia o tratamento, mais breve pode ocorrer a reintegracao dessa pessoa na sociedade, porem sua eficacia depende do diagnostico precoce para que seja possivel a intervencao caso a caso. O estudo do Rorschach, como instrumento de investigacao da personalidade, pode auxiliar neste processo devido ao seu amplo escopo de aplicacoes. A maior parte dos estudos sobre as pessoas com sintomas psicoticos trata da esquizofrenia, porem poucas publicacoes pesquisaram os pacientes ainda proximos ao surto e com efeito minimo da medicacao, alem de poucos estudos estabelecerem a comparacao com um grupo de individuos normais. A presente pesquisa propos-se a enfocar estes dois aspectos: o estudo de individuos proximos ao surto psicotico que os levou a procurar pela primeira vez uma instituicao de saude e sua comparacao com um grupo controle. Assim, o grupo experimental foi composto de vinte pessoas que procuraram uma instituicao de saude entre maio de 2004 e marco de 2005 e que moravam ha pelo menos 6 meses na area delimitada pelo projeto. Os participantes do grupo controle foram pareados individualmente por vizinhanca, faixa etaria e sexo; desta forma concentrando-os em regioes geograficas relevantes e demograficamente representativas para a comparacao. A coleta de dados foi realizada em duas entrevistas, a primeira para familiarizacao do participante com a pesquisadora e a segunda para a aplicacao do Rorschach. A analise dos dados se deu quantitativamente, segundo o Sistema Frances. O Metodo de Rorschach mostrou-se sensivel a diferencas entre os dois grupos estudados. Os resultados obtidos com os sujeitos do grupo experimental, em relacao ao grupo controle, foram significativos quanto ao menor percentual de respostas de forma bem vista, menor quantidade de respostas de tonalidade e menor percentual de respostas de conteudo animal. A analise destes indices em conjunto com outros fatores do Rorschach sugeriu uma dificuldade maior das pessoas com sintomas psicoticos no contato com os outros decorrente da introjecao inadequada de estereotipos sociais, da nao diferenciacao entre realidade interna e externa e de um processo de identificacao fragilizado permeado pela angustia de desintegracao. Este projeto esta associado a um projeto maior intitulado Estudos de Casos Incidentes (Primeiro Contato com Servicos de Saude) de Psicoses Funcionais no Brasil, que esta sendo realizado por equipe do Hospital das Clinicas da Faculdade de Medicina da Universidade de Sao Paulo (HC FMUSP), na tentativa de caracterizar, acompanhar e comparar os casos de transtornos psicoticos na cidade de Sao Paulo com um estudo semelhante feito em Londres, Reino Unido
The psychotic disorders, as a whole, and specially schizophrenia, inflict an evident impact upon one\'s life quality with such symptoms, affecting his well-being, professional affairs and relationship with the community. The earlier treatment starts, the sooner this person can be reintegrated into society, albeit it\'s effectiveness depends upon early diagnosis for intervention to be possible on a case by case basis. The study of Rorschach as an instrument for personality assessment can help on this process due to its wide scope of applications. Most researches about individuals with psychotic symptoms are about schizophrenia, however only few publishings have studied patients still near the psychotic episode and under minimal medication, and few researches established a comparative study between afflicted population and healthy one. The current research aim was twofold in the study of individuals near the psychotic episode which resulted in his first-admission in a mental health care facility and comparison with control group. Thus, experimental group consisted of twenty individuals that were first admitted to a mental health care service between may (2004) and march (2005), that have lived in the research delimited area for at least 6 months. Control group participants were likened by neighborhood, age range and gender; this way concentrating them on both demographically representative and relevant geographic regions for comparison. Data was obtained by means of two interviews, being the first one in order to familiarize participant and researcher, and the second one to administer Rorschach test. Only quantitative analysis was performed, scored according to the French System. Rorschach Method presented sensibility to discrepancies among both researched groups. There was statistically significant differences between experimental group and comparison group with regard to lower percentage of good quality form responses, lower scores of shading responses, lower percentage of animal responses. The analisys of those three items along with other Rorschach scores suggests that people with psychotic symptoms present greater difficulties to relate with others due to introjection of inadequate social stereotypes, no differentiation from internal and external reality, and weakened identification process permeated by desintegration anguish. This project is associated to a larger project entitled Estudos de Casos Incidentes (Primeiro Contato com Servicos de Saude) de Psicoses Funcionais no Brasil, which is being conducted by the Hospital das Clinicas da Faculdade de Medicina da Universidade de Sao Paulo (HC FMUSP) research team, in an attempt to profile, study and compare psychosis affliction cases in Sao Paulo city with similar studies being carried in London, United Kingdom

Avec l'objectif d'une comparaison interne au handicap moteur, l'administration du test de rorschach -selon le modèle intégré de J. Exner- a un groupe de patients dont le handicap est la conséquence d'un traumatisme physique (exogène) et a un autre groupe, dont le handicap est la conséquence d'un dysfonctionnement somatique interne (endogène), met en évidence, d'un cote des difficultés de mentalisation, un indice de dépression fréquent, un vécu de bizarrerie dans l'expérience humaine et un sentiment de rupture. De l'autre cote on observe en terme de différence, en faveur du groupe exogène, une rage intérieure plus importante, une difficulté a intégrer les aspects émotionnels, un recours à l'abstraction plus fréquent, ainsi qu'une perte d'estime de soi. Ces résultats généraux nous permettons de discuter du concept de dissociation. Nous centrerons ensuite notre attention sur les images mentales de mouvement. On observe à ce propos, que le questionnaire abrégé de Bett indique une mise en échec de certains patients confrontes a une sollicitation kinesthésique. Il est néanmoins possible que la représentation mentale de mouvement ait une valeur défensive. Les résultats suggèrent: que l'absence de réponse "m" dans un protocole est inversement proportionnelle a l'intensité de l'anxiété, sans doute à mettre en relation avec le contenu humain et (ii) que la kinesthésie d'objets (m), en tant que représentant possible d'un vécu de dévitalisation, puisse servir de support au processus d'appréhension perceptive. De plus, quand on examine la variable "rêve traumatique", on s'aperçoit que le rêve d'angoisse n'est pas exempt d'une fonction d'élaboration. Ce résultat garde toute son importance dans la perspective psychothérapeutique; perspective que nous aborderons dans une deuxième étude
With the purpose of an internal comparison concerning the motor handicap, the Rorschach test applied, according to J. Exner's comprehensive system, to a group of patients whose disability derives both from a physical trauma (exogenous) and from an internal somatic dysfunction (endogenous), shows on one side difficult mental working a frequent depression index, a strange living of human experience, and a sense of rupture. On the other side, we observe, a more furious internal rage for exogenous group, difficulty to integrate the emotional aspects, a more frequent use of abstraction and the loss of self-esteem, always for the exogenous. These general results will enable us to discuss the concept of dissociation. We after focus on motion mental images. Bett's shorter questionnaire mentions the failure of some patients confro9nted with kinesthetic solicitation. Besides the mental motion representation may have a defensive value. The results of Rorschach tests suggested in this connection: (i) the absence of "m" responses in inversely proportional to the intensity of anxiety,(ii) the "m"< in so far as they represent a process of devitalisation, can support the processes of perceptive apprehension. Furthermore, when we examine the variable "traumatic dream", chosen for its pathognomonic character, on realizes always through the Rorschach test, that the dream of anguish thoroughly confirmed by this perceptive-projective test, is not free for mental working. This result preserves all its importance in the psychotherapic perspectives; perspectives which will be evaluated in a second study

Bien que le Rorschach soit aujourd’hui l’un des tests psychologiques les plus utilisés et étudiés, la compréhension des qualités du stimulus du test et leur influence sur les réponses, reste toujours incomplète. Partant d’une approche perceptivo-cognitive au Rorschach, l’objectif de cette recherche consiste à étudier des caractéristiques des planches qui composent ce test et à analyser la manière dont les propriétés distales de la planche influencent les éléments structuraux de la réponse. La recherche est composée de trois études. Dans la première étude, nous analysons l’influence de la planche par l’analyse des données normatives issues d’un échantillon non-consultants français (n = 247). Notre deuxième étude vise à examiner l’influence de la propriété distale de la couleur chromatique sur les réponses. Nous avons mené, dans ce but, une expérimentation avec une série achromatique des planches de Rorschach, identiques aux planches originales à l’exception de l’absence de la couleur. Cette série a été administrée aux 37 sujets adultes non-consultants par la méthode du système intégré. Dans la troisième étude, nous avons analysé une catégorie spécifique de réponses au Rorschach, les réponses visage, en montrant l’apport possible de différents domaines de la psychologie, et en particulier de la recherche sur la perception. Les résultats de ces trois études sont discutés en référence à la compréhension du processus de la réponse au Rorschach, et en soulignant la dialectique entre les facteurs émanant du stimulus et des facteurs personnels du sujet. De plus, les implications sur la manière dont la spécificité des planches pourrait être prise en compte sont proposées
Although the Rorschach test is one of the most widely used and studied psychological tests, our understanding of the qualities of the stimulus of the test and their influence on the responses, rests incomplete. Emanating from a perceptual cognitive approach to the Rorschach, the objective of this research is to study the characteristics of the Rorschach cards, and to analyze how their properties affect the structural elements of the response. Our research consists of three studies. In the first study we analyze the influence of the cards by analyzing normative data from a French non-patients sample (n = 247). The second study examines the influence of the chromatic color on the responses. To this end, we conducted an experiment with an achromatic version of the cards, which are identical to the original ones with the exception of the lack of color. These cards were administered in the standardized way of the Comprehensive System to 37 non-patient participants. In the third study we analyze a specific category of Rorschach responses, namely face responses, showing the relevance of different fields of psychology, and in particular research in perception. The results of the three studies are discussed in reference to the response process, while emphasizing the interplay between the features of the stimulus and the personality of the subject. In addition, suggestions are made as how to use knowledge on the cards to improve the diagnostic power of the test

Anxiety in a child is something really difficult to approach. It's not easy to identify such anxiety through its different disguises, in the child's behaviour, in its very symptoms, etc. . . And specific techniques (such as questionnaires, anxiety scales) used to estimate it, haven't always got the requested efficiency. So this research work tries to draw the concept of anxiety from closely linked concepts like fright, fear, etc. . . , to determine some of its characteristics, to show this anxiety at work in the individual, both in its clinical forms and its contents. For this purpose, our work advocates the use of projective techniques and suggests a new way of dealing with anxiety, a scale of anxious contents set up from the answers given by children to rorschach's test

The purpose of the present investigation was to gather data on the performance of nonpatient elderly subjects on the Rorschach Psychodiagnostic Test. The Comprehensive System (Exner, 1985, 1986) was used for administering, scoring, and interpreting the Rorschach because it is a research-based form with demonstrated reliability and validity and it has become the most widely used approach to the Rorschach in the past 13 years. However, the norms were based upon an adult sample, ages 18 to 64. Therefore, the present study addressed the following problems: What are the normative data for the Rorschach of a nonpatient group of elderly? How do these normative data of the elderly compare with the normative data for younger adults?Method The study used 60 men and women, ages 65 to 94, all active, nonpatient volunteers with no psychiatric history. They lived independently of any institutional supervision or care.Results Means of Rorschach variables for elderly subjects were compared with the means for a younger adult population. The elderly had significantly lower means for R, P, W, D, S, DQ+, DQ v/+, FQo, M, Ma, Mp, a (active), FC, CF, Wgt Sum C, FC'+C'F+C', FY+YF+Y, Sum Shading, (2), FD, Zd, EA, D score, ADJ D, Blends, Col-Sh B1, X+%, F+%, Pure H, ALL H Cont, DV, DR, INCOM, SUM6 SP SC, and SUM 6 SP SC.The aged subjects produced significantly higher means for the following indices: Dd, FQ-, M-, FM, C+Cn, Lambda, Z-%, S-Constell, SCZI, DEPRI, PER, and PSV.The older adults performed neither significantly higher or lower for these variables: DQo, DQv, FQ+, FQu, m, p (passive), FT+TF+T, FV+VF+V, Fr + rF, F, Zf, es, 3r+(2)/R, FABCOM, ALOG, CONTAM, AG, CONFAB, CP, and MOR.These results indicate that the elderly in this study give responses which are less embellished, complex, synthesized, and conventional and to have percepts that are of poorer quality and are more distorted than those of younger adults.The following nine percentages for the elderly group were significantly higher than for the younger adult group with whom they were compared: M - WSUM C = +1.5 to -1.5, D SCORE < 0, ADJ D SCORE < 0, Zd SCORE < -3.0, X+% < .70, F+% < .70, X-% > .15, Afr < .55, and Pure H < 2.These percentages show that the aged had no preferred problem-solving style, had more stressors than skills to cope with them, are somewhat negligent and less accurate in processing information, avoid emotion, and have less interest in the social environment.

The Contents are an indicator that helps to understand the basic characteristics of personality (self-perception,interpersonal relations, cognitive mediation and ideation). This descriptive study used an accidental-probabilistic sample. The variables were age, gender, schooling, The descriptive statistic was used to analyze demographic contents and variables, and the non-parametric statistic (Kruskall-Wallis) to compare data. The results stresses the absence of religious contents (R 1) and the importance of anatomic contents (An) across the variables. The variable gender shows differences: men are interested in culture and show achievement motivation. Women are interested in home. With regarded lo schooling, the group including superior educated and complete secondary educated students shows solidarity signs, interest in socialization and ahigh cognitive level.
Se investigó el área de Contenidos Rorschach en 237 habitantes de Lima. Los Contenidos constituyen un indicador para la comprensión de características básicas de la personalidad (auto-percepción, relaciones interpersonales, mediación cognitiva e ideación). El estudio fue descriptivo con muestreo probabilístico accidental. Las variables fueron edad, género, nivel de escolaridad. Se utilizó estadística descriptiva para analizar contenidos y variables demográficas, y no paramétrica (Kruskall-Wallis) para comparar datos. Los resultados destacan la ausencia de contenidos religiosos (Rl) y la importancia de contenidos anatómicos (An) entodas las variables. Los géneros difieren significativamente: los hombres interesados en lacultura y afán de logros y las mujeres, en el hogar. En cuanto a nivel de escolaridad, el grupo de educación superior y secundaria completa obtiene signos de solidaridad, interés en la socialización y mayor riqueza cognitiva.

Sexual abuse of children has profound negative effects on psychological development. This study examined the effects of sexual abuse on object relations functioning by using the Mutuality of Autonomy Scale (MAS, Urist, 1977) to score Rorschach protocols of 63 abused children and 60 non-abused clinical controls. The hypothesis that abused children would have less developed object relations than their non-abused counterparts was not supported. Neither was the hypothesis that children who experienced greater severity of sexual abuse would exhibit more malevolent object relations. The hypothesis that mean and modal MAS scores would be highly intercorrelated and interchangeable as research variables was supported. Comparisons of this sample to a normative sample are discussed.

Using a clinical sample of 63 girls aged 5 - 16 years, the Psychoanalytic Rorschach Profile (PRP; Burke et al., 1988), a measure of drive, ego, and object relations functioning, was examined for differences between sexual abuse (SA) victims and distressed but nonabused (NA) peers. The hypothesis that the SA group would evidence more pathological, less developed levels of drive, ego, and object relations functioning than the NA group was not supported. Limitations of the use of archival data are discussed. The effects of controlling for the number of responses (R) in Rorschach research were examined by comparing entire protocols of a clinical sample of girls from 5 - 16 years of age to shortened versions which included only the first one (N = 89; R = 10) or two (N = 17; R = 20) responses to each blot. Of 12 PRP scales compared, differences between the R = 10 and entire protocols were found on 5 variables, but when R was increased to 20, only 2 differences remained. Support was given for the notion of uniform Rorschach administration in which 2 responses per card are solicited.

This study attempted to provide validation for Lerner and Lerner's Rorschach Defense Scale by investigating the relationship between primitive defenses as measured by the Rorschach Defense Scale, level of object relations as measured by the Developmental Analysis of the Concept of the Object Scale, and characteristic defensive operations as assessed by the Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory. One hundred and twenty undergraduates completed the Rorschach and MMPI, and the RDS and DACOS were applied to their Rorschach responses. The results show a significant positive correlation between use of primitive defenses and level of object relations development -and a significant negative correlation between the defense Projective Identification and MMPI scale 6 (Paranoia) elevation. Overall, these results did not support the validity of the RDS.

Dentre outras questões em saúde pública, o tabagismo e a depressão se constituem em situações que ocupam os profissionais de saúde que buscam elaborar medidas preventivas auxiliares no tratamento destas. O tempo de duração, as recaídas e os problemas, físicos e mentais, que sofrem as pessoas, portadoras destes transtornos mentais, constituem um grande desafio no tratamento dos mesmos. Buscar instrumentos de avaliação psicológica que auxiliem neste processo é o principal objetivo. Este trabalho verificou indicadores de depressão em pessoas portadoras de dependência de nicotina (tabagistas), por meio do Teste de Bender e do Método de Rorschach, que podem mensurar traços do funcionamento da personalidade, contribuindo para o entendimento destas características de personalidade, auxiliando na compreensão dos processos psíquicos do indivíduo tabagista, informações que podem auxiliar nos processos preventivos. Os participantes são tabagistas e não tabagistas que estavam cursando algum curso superior e sem histórico de tratamento de depressão ou outro transtorno mental. A coleta de dados foi realizada individualmente com cada um dos participantes (n=60). Os instrumentos utilizados foram entrevista preliminar; a Adaptação Hutt do Teste de Bender e o Método de Rorschach. Os principais resultados se referem ao Teste de Bender e ao Método de Rorschach pelo Sistema Compreensivo de Exner. No Bender são relevantes os dados relativos à análise configuracional da Depressão da Escala de Psicopatologia; no Rorschach são ressaltados os itens que compõe o Índice de Depressão. Concluiu-se que o Teste de Bender, com a escala de avaliação de aspectos psicopatológicos, e o Método de Rorschach, no Sistema Compreensivo, podem auxiliar nos trabalhos preventivos, trazendo indicadores do funcionamento psíquico do indivíduo tabagista. Por outro lado, também se verificou a necessidade de aprofundamento dos estudos nesta área, ampliando o número de participantes e realizando estudos longitudinais
Among other public health issues, smoking and depression are situations that worry health professionals. Thus, they try to take measures to provide against them and help in their treatment. The duration, relapses, and the mental and physical problems of people who present these mental disorders go through present a big challenge to the treatment. Searching for ways to evaluate psychologically and, therefore, help in this process is the main goal. This work detected depression symptoms in people addicted to nicotine (tobacco users) by using the Bender Test and the Rorschach Method, which can measure aspects of the personality, contributing to the understanding of these personality traits. It can help us understand the psychological processes of the tobacco users, helping in the prevention processes. The participants were smokers and non smokers; they were college students and had never undergone any depression or mental disorder treatment. The data collection was carried out individually with each one of the participants (n=60). Preliminary interviews, the Hutt Adaptation of the Bender Test, and the Rorschach Method, Comprehensive System were used. The main results refer to the Bender Test and the Rorschach Method. In the Bender Test, the data related to the configuration in the analysis of depression from the psychopathology; in the Rorschach Method the items that comprise the Depression Index. It was concluded that the Bender Test, with the scale of evaluation of psychopathologic aspects, and the Rorschach Method can help in the prevention procedures, showing how the psychological functioning of smokers work. On the other hand, it became clear that a deep study in this area is necessary, increasing the number of participants and carrying out longitudinal studies

Ce travail de recherche repond a un questionnement sur la mise en evidence de modes de gestion du mal etre chez des soignants et chez des soignes. Nous avons mis au point un dispositif experimental appele "epreuve de classement d'images". Cette epreuve testee aupres d'une population controle s'organise autour de trois themes qui comporte la "maladiede-la-medecine", la "maladie-du-malade" et la "souffrance". Les donnees fournies, par l'appariement systematique de l'epreuve de classement d'images et du rorschach a vingt sujets alcooliques et a une population temoin, suggerent que l'alcoolisme se presente comme un symptome secondaire de defense et se rencontre dans toutes les structures de personnalite. Le toxique conduit a construire une fausse personnalite, un faux self, sans lien de verite avec ce qui touche le sujet et l'affecte. Le sujet, moins sensible a la souffrance, pare a la difficulte de la vie quotidienne par la prise du toxique sorte de reponse adaptative. Les identifications de type narcissique prevalent et invitent a penser que l'arrimage de l'image a la parole, donnee par l'identification signifiante, ferait defaut. Cette recherche, par une exploration plus poussee dela perception du mal etre chez les sujets alcooliques pourrait etre doublee par une etude epidemiologique et metapsychologique d'autres types de conduites addictives.

A adição a drogas psicoativas é um fenômeno que atinge todas as sociedades, causando sérios danos nos mais diversos contextos sociais. Avanços significativos no conhecimento sobre aspectos psicofarmacológicos e epidemiológicos da drogadição na atualidade, contudo, investigações relativas ao dinamismo psíquico dos usuários de drogas não se apresentam na mesma proporção. Mediante a gravidade e complexidade desta problemática, faz-se importante reunir indícios técnicos referentes à psicodinâmica destes indivíduos drogaditos, no intuito de compreender melhor o fenômeno. Diante destas considerações, objetivou-se avaliar as características psicológicas de usuários de drogas focalizando-se sua história de vida, desenvolvimento neuropsicomotor e dinâmica da personalidade. Foram avaliados 20 homens de 18 a 35 anos, sendo 10 usuários de drogas psicoativas (G1) há pelo menos um ano, que se encontravam em fase de busca de tratamento, recém ingressos em contextos de internação institucional, e outros 10 indivíduos não usuários de drogas (G2) que fizeram parte do grupo controle. Como recursos técnicos para a avaliação psicológica foram utilizados a entrevista semi-dirigida, o teste INV- forma C, as Figuras Complexas de Rey e o Psicodiagnóstico de Rorschach. A aplicação dos métodos avaliativos foi feita em duas sessões, realizadas na própria instituição ou no consultório particular do pesquisador. O INV indicou normalidade intelectual em todos os participantes. As Figuras de Rey evidenciaram normalidade neuropsicomotora, porém com déficit de desempenho de G1 em relação a G2, em virtude da tensão e impulsividade deste grupo na realização da tarefa. Verbalizaram vivências de intenso sentimento de desespero e de perda total do controle da vida, gerando grande inquietação e ansiedade. O Rorschach evidenciou uso maciço da racionalidade e controle da afetividade em G1 e G2; semelhanças na sensibilidade afetiva (fórmulas vivenciais) e controle ineficaz do afeto em G1, associado à imaturidade afetiva e dificuldades na adaptação social em G1 (aumento do H%). A vivência do sentimento de angústia e de impotência perante a dramaticidade do contexto familiar foi mencionada como principal causadora da drogadição. Angústia, morte e acidentes traumáticos associados ao contexto familiar foram temas recorrentes na história de vida do G1. A maioria destes indivíduos relatou enfrentamento de situações dramáticas durante o desenvolvimento infantil e que o correspondente sentimento de impotência perante o fato foi proeminente para o ingresso na drogadição. A problemática familiar evidenciou-se nas percepções do contexto hostil e violento da relação com a figura paterna: falta de entendimento com o pai; ausência, mágoa ou violência associados à figura paterna. A análise simbólica da prancha IV do Rorschach, também evidenciou, freqüentemente, sensação disfórica e ameaçadora, diante da figura masculina percebida sob a forma de figuras fantásticas ou pára-humanas. No entanto, os usuários de drogas apresentaram bom potencial intelectivo, parcialmente aproveitado, acompanhado por ansiedade e tensão constante.
The addition of the psychoactive drugs is a phenomenon that reaches all the societies, causing serious damages in the most diverse social contexts. Significant advances in the knowledge on psychopharmacological and epidemiologists aspects of the drogadiction in the present time, however, relative inquiries to the psychodynamism of the of drug users are not presented in the same ratio. By means of the gravity and complexity of this problematic, its important to congregate technicians indications referring to the psychodynamism of these individuals drogadictions, in intention to understand the phenomenon deeply. Ahead of these considerations, it was objectified to evaluate the psychological characteristics of users of drugs being focused their histories of life, their neuropsicomotor development and their personality dynamic. Twenty men of 18 35 years old was available, 10 users of psychoactive drugs (G1) in treatment search, newly-ingressed in contexts of institucional internment and others 10 not users of drugs (G2), the last, the control group. As technician resources for the psychological evaluation they had been used the semi-structured interview, the INV- Test form-C, the Complex Figures of Rey and the Rorschach Method. The application of the methods was made in two sessions, carried through in the own institution or in the particular doctor\'s office of the researcher. The INV indicated intellectual normality in all the participants. The Figures of Rey had evidenced neuropsychomotor normality, however with deficit of performance of G1 in relation to G2, in virtue of the tension and impulsiveness of this group in the accomplishment of the task. The subjects have related experiences of intense feeling of desperation and total loss of life control, generating great inquietude and anxiety. The Rorschach evidenced massive use of the rationality and control of the affectivity in G1 and G2; similarities in affective sensitivity (existential formulas) and inefficacious control of the affection in G1, associated with the affective immaturity and difficulties in the social adaptation in G1 (increase of H%). The experience of the feeling of anguish and impotence in front of the dramaticity of the familiar context was mentioned as the main causer of the drogadiction. Anguish, death and traumatic accidents associates to the familiar context had been recurrent themes in the history of life of the G1. The majority of them has told confrontation of dramatical situations during the childish development and the corresponding feeling of impotence in front of the fact was prominent for the ingression in the drogadiction. The familiar problematic was proven in the perceptions of the hostile and violent context of the relation with the paternal figure: lack of agreement with the father; absence, sorrow or violence associated to the paternal figure. The symbolic analysis of Rorschachs plate IV, also evidenced, frequently, disforical and threatening sensation, ahead of the masculine figure perceived under the form of fantastic figures or pára-humans. However, the users of drugs had presented good intelective potential, partially utilized, joint for anxiety and constant tension.

Os métodos projetivos de avaliação psicológica são classicamente reconhecidos, pela literatura científica nacional e internacional, como úteis, válidos e adequados instrumentos para se compreender o funcionamento afetivo e cognitivo dos indivíduos. Ainda assim exigem contínuo aperfeiçoamento técnico-científico no tocante a suas evidências psicométricas. Nesse contexto, o presente estudo examinou indicadores de validade e de precisão relativos ao Psicodiagnóstico do Rorschach e ao Teste das Pirâmides Coloridas do Pfister, centrando-se na etapa da adolescência, pouco investigada até o momento por esses métodos avaliativos no Brasil. Procurou-se identificar convergências de indicadores técnicos (relativos ao funcionamento afetivo e cognitivo) do Método de Rorschach (Escola Francesa) com aqueles do Teste das Pirâmides Coloridas de Pfister. Foram examinados dados de 97 adolescentes na faixa etária de 12 a 14 anos de idade, de ambos os sexos e estudantes de escolas públicas e particulares do interior do Estado de São Paulo, voluntários devidamente autorizados a participar do estudo, com indicadores de desenvolvimento típico para sua faixa etária e com adequado nível cognitivo (avaliado especificamente pelo Teste Não Verbal de Inteligência - INV, forma C). Os testes psicológicos foram individualmente aplicados e avaliados conforme seus respectivos manuais técnicos, sistematizando-se suas principais variáveis específicas. Realizaram-se análises descritivas e inferenciais dos dados, examinando-se possível efeito da procedência escolar sobre os resultados dos testes psicológicos. As evidências encontradas apontaram que a origem escolar pareceu não influenciar significativamente o padrão de respostas dos adolescentes, caracterizando-se um único grupo geral de marcadores de personalidade para a faixa etária avaliada. As análises correlacionais, de variância e de regressão logística entre indicadores quantitativos do INV, Rorschach e Pfister apontaram poucas associações significativas entre os sinais dos testes utilizados, embora existindo convergências informativas entre variáveis do mesmo instrumento de avaliação psicológica, sugerindo consistência interna nos testes. Houve associações significativas entre indicadores que avaliam: a) potencialidade cognitiva; b) maturidade afetiva e cognitiva; c) controle afetivo; d) controle da angústia; e) estilo predominante de interação afetiva com o ambiente; f) grau de investimento psíquico no ambiente. Foi possível confirmar, embora de forma modesta, associações entre indicadores desses métodos projetivos de avaliação psicológica, voltados ao exame da personalidade, aplicados em adolescentes, fortalecendo seus achados de evidências de validade clínica (CAPES).
Projective methods of psychological assessment are classically recognized by national and international scientific literature as useful, valid and appropriate tools to understand the affective and cognitive functioning of individuals. Still require continuous technical and scientific improvements regarding its psychometric evidence. In this context, the present study examined indicators of validity and accuracy relative to the Rorschach psychodiagnostic and the Color Pyramid Test of Pfister, focusing on the stage of adolescence, yet little investigated by these evaluation methods in Brazil. We sought to identify convergences of technical indicators (related to affective and cognitive functioning) Rorschach Method (French Approach) with those of the Color Pyramid Test Pfister. Data from a total of 97 adolescents were examined in age group 12-14 years of age, of both sexes and students from public and private schools in the state of São Paulo, with indicators of typical development for their age and appropriate cognitive level (specifically assessed by Verbal Intelligence Test - INV, form C). Psychological tests were applied individually and assessed according to their respective technical manuals, systematizing their most important specific variables. The descriptive and inferential statistical analysis examined the possible effect of school provenance on the results of psychological tests. The evidence indicated that the school did not seem to rise significantly influence the pattern of responses of adolescents, characterizing one general group of personality markers for the age range studied. The correlational analyzes of variance and logistic regression between quantitative indicators of INV, Rorschach and Pfister showed few significant differences between the signs of the tests used, although there were informative convergences between variables of the same instrument for psychological evaluation, suggesting internal consistency tests. There were significant associations between indicators that assess: a) cognitive capability; b) affective and cognitive maturity; c) emotional control; d) control of anxiety; e) predominant style of affective interaction with the environment; f) degree of psychological investment in the environment. It was confirmed, albeit modestly, associations between these projective methods indicators of psychological assessment, aimed at the examination of personality applied to adolescents, fortifying their finding evidence of clinical validity (CAPES).

Este trabalho debruça-se sobre o Conflito Estético na Adolescência, através da análise do processo resposta Rorschach. Guiados pelos conceitos de Klein, Bion e Meltzer, entre outros, procuramos aceder ao processo de pensar subjacente à procura do Belo e da Verdade de dois sujeitos de diferentes géneros, em duas idades distintas (aos treze e aos dezasseis anos), o que viabiliza a análise do processo transformacional em curso, da puberdade à adolescência. Para tal, seguimos as referências habituais de análise do processo resposta Rorschach e o seu alargamento teórico, sob influência do paradigma do Conflito Estético. O balanceamento entre estes dois registos decorre da necessidade de introduzir alterações e criar novos elementos de análise no instrumento, por forma a ele poder aceder mais profundamente aos processos em causa e permitir um melhor acesso ao objecto de estudo - o Conflito Estético do sujeito psicológico adolescente - sem no entanto descurar o processo adolescente tal como ele já foi abordado noutros estudos. Assim, com este trabalho, através da atribuição de novas e renovadas qualidades de análise ao Rorschach, visa aceder-se à articulação entre o Conflito Estético - o pensamento do Belo, do desconhecido e da Verdade - e os modelos teóricos que explicitam o processo transformacional adolescente.

Tendo em vista a importância da família para o adolescente, especialmente das figuras parentais, este estudo buscou compreender o processo de identificação de adolescentes em risco social, participantes de um programa de promoção social de Organização não governamental - ONG. A escolha dos sujeitos se deu através de critérios de inclusão que seguiram as referências existentes na literatura acerca das situações de risco social. O grupo de sujeitos é composto de dez adolescentes com idade entre 15 e 18 anos de idade, cinco do sexo feminino e cinco do sexo masculino. Foram utilizadas entrevistas e o Método de Rorschach como instrumentos de investigação psicológica. Utilizamos entrevistas semi-dirigidas com os adolescentes e seus pais ou responsáveis, e entrevistas livres com os educadores e coordenadores da ONG. A análise dos dados, quantitativa e qualitativa, seguiu as referências teóricas do sistema francês do Rorschach. Os resultados evidenciam uma defasagem entre os grupos de gênero no que se refere aos processos de identificação: enquanto a maioria dos adolescentes do sexo masculino apresenta falhas no processo de individuação, com uma imaturidade em seu desenvolvimento afetivo e sexual, as adolescentes demonstram ter consolidado o processo de identificação primária, vivenciando mais efetivamente as questões relativas à problemática de identificação sexual, em concordância com o momento evolutivo da adolescência. O grupo de adolescentes como um todo tem em comum as situações familiares e sociais adversas, mas os resultados do Rorschach evidenciam que estas situações repercutiram de formas diversas sobre a constituição psíquica, de acordo com as relações internas estabelecidas com as figuras parentais, que servem de suporte aos processos identificatórios. Isto confirma que apesar dos adolescentes estarem inseridos em condições externas ou ambientais de risco, é a configuração familiar que determina os processos internos e produz diferentes estruturações de personalidade, corroborando a importância do núcleo familiar na constituição do sujeito. Esperamos que os resultados alcançados através desta investigação favoreça a compreensão da dinâmica psicológica de adolescentes em situação de risco social, no sentido de contribuir para a elaboração de estratégias de intervenção clínica preventivas, envolvendo o adolescente, a família e a comunidade.
Having in mind the family\'s importance for the teenager, and especially the role of their of their parental figures, this study aimed at understanding the identification process in teenagers at social risk, who are part of a social program within a non-governmental organization (NGO). The subjects\' choice was based on inclusion criteria following references in existing literature on social risk. The group was made of ten teenagers aged between 15 and 18 years old, of which five where male and five were female. Interviews and the Rorschach method were the psychological investigation tools used. Teenagers and their parents (or carers) were subject to semi-driven interviews, while educators and the NGO\'s coordinators went through free interviews. Rorschach qualitative and quantitative data was analyzed based on Rorschach\'s French theory system. Results show a disparity between the gender groups in what refers to the identification process: while most male teenagers show gaps in the individuation process, having an immature sexual and emotional development, female teenagers show to have consolidated the primary identification process, experiencing more effectively the questions related to sexual identification, in agreement with adolescence\'s evolution process. The group as a whole has a common background of familial and social adverse, but Rorschach\'s results show that these situations affected their mental foundation in different ways, in accordance with the relationship with their parental figures, who serve as a support in the identification process. This confirms that that despite the fact that these teenagers were inserted in external or environmental risk situations, it is the family nucleus in its early relations with the subject that determines the subject\'s constitution. We hope that the results achieved in this investigation will help understanding teenagers at social risk\'s psychological dynamic, contributing at the development of preventive clinical intervention strategies involving the teenager, the family and the community.

This paper analyzes the interpretation of human movement (M) that appear in the m Rorschach Inkblot and the Projectives Inkblots. In this sense the Projectives Jnkblots of Dr. Rodrigues Isidoro are one of the most effective measures to discriminate and analyze the mental activity related to movement that appears in the m. Rorschach Inkblot. A eomparative study of two groups of subjects (150 adolescents and 150 adults), without pathological evidence, was carried out. Measures of human movement on the Rorschach Inkblot Test and the Projectives Inkblots were obtained. Comparison of results showed some significant differences in the human contents with movement. Differences were systematically in the M answers in the Rorschach and in the Projectives Inkblots.
El presente artículo pretende analizar las interpretaciones de Movimiento Humano (M) que se perciben en la Lámina m del test de Rorschach y en las "Láminas Proyectivas". En este sentido las Láminas Proyectivas del Dr. Rodríguez Isidoro constituyen una de las medidas más efectivas para discriminar y analizar la actividad mental expresada con las interpretaciones de movimiento cuando éste aparece en la Lámina m de Rorschach. Los autores han elaborado un diseño con una muestra de 300 sujetos aleatoriamente elegidos. Se llevó a cabo un estudio con dos grupos de sujetos, 150 adolescentes y 150 adultos, sin evidencia de características patológicas. Se han obtenido las diferentes medidas del movimiento humano en las láminas de Rorschach y en las Proyectivas. Comparando los resultados muestran algunas diferencias significativas en los contenidos humanos con movimiento. Se encontraron sistemáticamente diferencias en las respuestas "M" tanto en Rorschach contó en las Láminas Proyectivas 1 y 11.

Abstract:
Cette recherche se propose de mettre à l'épreuve un nouvel outil que j'ai créé et élaboré lorsque j'étais psychologue scolaire et que j'utilise maintenant en tant que psychothérapeute: le jeu de la maison de bois. Ce jeu offre la possibilité à l'enfant, âgé entre 3 et 11 ans, de projeter le sujet incarné qu'il est, en tant qu'être imaginaire. Il consiste à aménager une maison avec ses meubles et les objets qui la composent, à choisir des personnages et à inventer une histoire. Ce jeu est un "équivalent de rêve" selon Sami-Ali (1997) car il se fonde sur une activité projective qui établit une équivalence entre le monde interne et le monde externe. Cet outil permet la réalisation d'un travail d'élaboration mentales, psychique et imaginaire. Ce jeu peut être utilisé soit comme outil diagnostique complémentaire aux épreuves projectives classiques lors d'un examen, soit comme support projectif lors d'un suivi thérapeutique. Si ce jeu est bien une surface projective, les résultats obtenus lors de l'analyse clinique seront identiques à ceux obtenus lors des épreuves projectives classiques (Rorschach, T. A. T. Ou C. A. T). Etant donné que le corps est porteur de différences- différence de génération, de sexe, de l'âge et de l'appartenance culturelle des enfants. Pour expérimenter cet outil, j'ai comparé les résultats qu'il fournit, à ceux des épreuves projectives classiques chez seize enfants - huit garçons et huit filles - tous volontaires, âgés de 5 à 10 ans, appartenant à quatre cultures différentes: Afrique de l'Ouest, France, Inde et Maghreb. Ces enfants ont été rencontrés dans leur école située en région parisienne. Dans une visée thérapeutique, j'ai tenté de montrer l'aide que ce matériel m'avait apporté lors du suivi psychothérapeutique. Cette étude m'a appris, dans ma pratique, à éviter de mettre du pathologique sur ce qui révèlerait du culturel. Il serait utile de développer cette recherche sur une population d'enfants plus importante et davantage diversifiée culturellement
This study has for soul to demonstrate a new tool that I have created and elaborated when I was psychologist which is using daily as psychotherapist: the play of wood house. This play gives children between the age of 3 and 11 the possibility to project oneself as an imaginary person. It consists in organizing a house with the furniture and the objects that compose it, choosing characters and inventing a story. This tool is an "equivalent to dream" according to Sami Ali (1997) because it's founded on a projective activtity which establish an equivalence between internal and external world. This tool allows availment of traditional projective tests or as a projective support during a therapeutic follow-up. If this play is a well projective area, the results of clinical analysis will be the same than a classic projective tests (Rorschach, T. A. T, or C. A. T). As the body carries differences - generation, sex and cultural - I wished to prove the impact of cultural roots on children of the sex and age, in the elaboration of the elaboration of the inconscient image of the body. To experiment this tool, I have compared the results of the "wood-house" with the projective tests (Rorschach, T. A. T, or C. A. T) on sixteen children - eight boys and eight girls - all volunteers, between the age of 5 and 10, belong to four differents cultures: western Africa, France, southern India and northern Africa. In therapeutic goal, I tried to show the help that this game had brought me during a therapeutic follow-up 6 years old girls suffering from dwarfism. The conclusions of this study highlight that the play of the "wood-house" can be used either as transcultural projective test, or as projective support during a psychotherapeutic follow-up. These same conclusion lead up to me to ask myself on the cultural involvement in the clinical practise to not pathologist behavior culturally established. It would be useful to develop this study on a more important and more culturally diversified population of children

Abstract:
Research on child sexual abuse has been largely retrospective and anecdotal in nature, focusing on broad self-report measures of adjustment rather than on more explicit measures of psychopathology. Although there is general agreement that there are harmful effects, there is a lack of consistent empirical evidence. More specific measures, control groups, and larger Ns are needed to gain a clearer understanding. The present study examined Rorschach responses of sexually abused female children as associated with abuse characteristics. Rorschach responses of the sexually abused group were also compared with responses of female clinic controls. None of the a priori hypotheses predicting differences between the groups were supported.

L'auteur tente de valider le concept de personnalité criminelle de Jean Pinatel au moyen de l'épreuve de H. Rorschach et envisage son opérationnalisation clinique. Il met en relation les résultats de cette épreuve avec le devenir criminologique dans un échantillon de 808 garçons ayant séjourné en institution. Il réalise également trois études cliniques fines. Les résultats n'invalident pas la théorie de Jean Pinatel, mais font apparaitre, au moyen de l'analyse factorielle, trois composantes de "violence", "inhibition" et de "socialisation banale", liées au devenir délinquant. Sur le plan clinique l'auteur vérifie l'utilisation possible de ces trois composantes et souligne l'intérêt des concepts de représentation de soi de N. Rausch de Traubenberg et de l'élaboration symbolique de L. Cassiers. Il termine en proposant l'expression de "configuration crimino-sensible" de la personnalité et prône le développement d'une clinique intégrative
The author tries to validate Jean Pinatel's concept of criminal personality through the rorschach test and considers its clinical operationalization. He relates the results of this test to the criminological evolution in a sample of 808 subjects having stayed in institutions. He also carries out three sharp clinical studies. The results do not invalidate Jean Pinatel's theory, but they show, through a factor analysis, three indicators of "violence", "inhibition" and "banal socialization" which are linked to the delinquent evolution. On the clinical level, the author checks the possible use of these three indicators and emphasizes the interest of the concepts of N. Rausch de Traubenberg's self-image scale and L. Cassiers's symbolic elaboration indicator. He concludes by proposing the expression of a "criminal-sensitive configuration" of the personality and advocates the development of an integrative clinic

Este trabalho de investigação dedicou-se especialmente ao apuramento dos processos psicológicos que insinuam o funcionamento intra- e inter- psíquico do sujeito adolescente por meio do Método Rorschach (objectivo geral), em função de um objectivo específico: a compreensão dos processos psicológicos implicados nas expressões do Risco no processo de desenvolvimento adolescente, nos protocolos Rorschach, tendo-se exigido, para o efeito, a reunião de um conjunto de procedimentos dotados de especificidade conceptual e metodológica. Motivo pelo qual se definiu o sujeito psicológico enquanto objecto de estudo, dada a sintonização com as lógicas relativas à Psicologia Clínica. Neste sentido, constituiu-se: 1. um Referencial Teórico, resenha conceptual de autores, centrados no Processo de Desenvolvimento Adolescente, salientando-se aqueles que maior solidez exprimiram, abrindo caminho à sua reunião, numa composição unificada e dinâmica, que congregou um Olhar significado sobre o processo de desenvolvimento adolescente, processo de criatividade, transformação e consolidação, no e para o crescimento e o desenvolvimento do sujeito; 2. um alargado Conceito de Risco, que foi explorado teórica e conceptualmente, desmistificando e correlacionando o risco com o processo de desenvolvimento adolescente, atestando a participação do risco na totalidade do Ser e do Fazer psicológico do adolescente; 3. um conjunto de nove Parâmetros de Risco, fundamentados nos organizadores do processo de desenvolvimento adolescente, previamente examinado, em complementaridade com o Risco, também antecedentemente estudado; 4. um Método dominante, o Método Rorschach, subjugado ao Modelo de Transformações (Bion) e a uma lógica de (re)ligação, (re)criação e (re)simbolização, que convergiram a teoria e a técnica, a par de procedimentos de análise e de significação específicos, utilizados no estudo dos processos psicológicos do adolescente e dos parâmetros de risco inerentes ao mesmo, expressos no protocolo Rorschach. Momento em que se procedeu à análise, discussão e síntese dos resultados obtidos nos dois protocolos Rorschach de adolescentes (um feminino - a Sofia, e outro masculino - o Nuno, candidatos à licença de condução de motociclos), os quais integraram esta tese. No final, apresentou-se um Olhar definido e normativo deste Processo de Processos Adolescente e uma Grelha de Análise dos Protocolos Rorschach dos Adolescentes, especializada na expressão dos Parâmetros de Risco inerentes ao funcionamento intra- e inter- psíquico do adolescente.

L’objectif de cette recherche est : 1) de contribuer à la réduction du retard diagnostique quicaractérise le trouble bipolaire ; 2) identifier les marqueurs infra cliniques de la dépressionbipolaire ; 3) créer une constellation de différenciation de l’épisode dépressif majeur bipolaireet unipolaire au test de Rorschach (système intégratif).Méthode : Dans un premier temps, nous avons développé une constellation provisoire avec unpré-test auprès de 41 patients (20 bipolaires et 21 unipolaires). Dans un second temps, nousavons testé cette constellation sur un nouvel échantillon de 141 patients (71 bipolaires et 70unipolaires). La symptomatologie dépressive est contrôlée avec la MADRS, l’absence desymptomatologie maniaque et / ou hypomaniaque est contrôlée avec la MAS.Résultats : Il existe des différences infra cliniques, mises en avant par le test de Rorschach,entre les dépressions bipolaires et les dépressions unipolaires. 7 variables du test deRorschach diffèrent dans nos 2 groupes, nous les avons regroupées en un index. Ceregroupement en une constellation permet d’augmenter significativement sensibilité et laspécificité de cette distinction
The aims of this study are 1) to contribute to reduce the diagnostic delay of bipolar disorder ; 2) identify infraclinical psychological markers of bipolar depression ; 3) build a bipolar depressive index in Rorschach test (comprehensive system).Method : A preliminary Rorschach index has been developed from a pre-test with 41 patients(20 bipolar and 21 unipolar). This preliminary index has been tested on another sample of 141 patients (71 bipolar and 70 unipolar). We used MADRS to rate the depressive symptomaticintensity and the MAS to rate the manic and / or hypomanic symptomatic intensity.Results : Some infraclinical dimensions of depressive episodes, assessed with the Rorschachtest, are different in unipolar and bipolar patients. 7 variables are different in the 2 groups. We put them together in an index. Grouping these variables in a constellation increases specificityand sensitivity of the differential diagnosis

This Master's thesis is organized in three articles and its objective is to study aspects of the personality of sex offenders (SO) against children and adolescents. The first article consists of a literature review of national and international publications that investigate the personality of the SO through the Rorschach test. A total of nine publications were found, through which it was possible to detect impairment in the psychological maturity of the SO, especially in the cognitive, affective aspects, in the self-perception and tendency to respond impulsively. The second article deals with an empirical study, whose objective was to investigate whether SO against children and adolescents with and without psychopathy differs in relation to the capacity to manage stress and distress and the psychological maturity (ID). 30 re-educators participating in the study were serving a closed sentence for sexual crimes against children and adolescents, and they were divided into two groups: G1, composed of SO considered without psychopathy (N= 20; Psychopathy Checklist Revised - PCL-R <30); and G2, composed of the SO with psychopathy (N= 10; PCL-R≥30). In this study, a data collection protocol was used in the criminal process, the Rorschach test in the Perfomance Evaluation System (RPAS) considering the variables of the stress and distress domain and the psychological maturity (ID), and the Psychopathy Checklist Revised (PCL-R) for identifying the traits of psychopathy. The data were analyzed by Student's t test and linear regression analysis. The results showed that 16% of SO psychopathy was explained by lower level of stress and distress. Regarding psychological maturity, there was no statistical difference between the SO groups. However, considering the results of other groups investigated in the scientific literature, the indices of psychological maturity (ID) found in the participants were similar to those of people with diverse psychological disorders or people in therapeutic communities by judicial order. The third article aimed at analyzing the dangerousness and personality characteristics of sex offender (SO) against children and adolescents, through the Rorschach test in the Performance Evaluation System (R-PAS). 69 SO participating in the study were serving a closed sentence for sexual crimes, and they were divided into two groups: G1, victimized only children (N= 41); and G2, victimized adolescents and adults (N= 28). A data collection protocol was used for data collection in the criminal process and the Rorschach in the Performance Evaluation System (R-PAS) and a variable known as hazard, which was constructed through the factorial analysis of the main component (FAMC), using variables of the criminal profile. Data were analyzed using Pearson's correlation, student t, chi-square and Pearson's or Fisher's exact, and Cohen's d. The results showed that the greater the use of intellectualization, as a defense mechanism to avoid contact with crime, the greater the danger; and as for the differences between groups, G1 presented more aggressive intentions, while G2 revealed a low level of stress.
A presente dissertação de Mestrado está organizada em três artigos, que têm como objetivo estudar aspectos da personalidade de autores de violência sexual (AVS) contra crianças e adolescentes. O primeiro artigo consiste em uma revisão da literatura de publicações nacionais e internacionais que investigam a personalidade do AVS por meio do teste de Rorschach. Foi encontrado um total de nove publicações, por meio das quais foi possível detectar comprometimento na maturidade psicológica dos AVS, especialmente nos aspectos cognitivos, afetivos, na autopercepção e na tendência a responder de modo impulsivo. O segundo artigo trata de um estudo empírico, cujo objetivo foi investigar se AVS contra crianças e adolescentes com e sem psicopatia se diferenciam em relação à capacidade de administrar o estresse, o distresse e a maturidade psicológica (ID). Participaram do estudo 30 reeducandos cumprindo pena em regime fechado por crimes sexuais contra crianças e adolescentes, que foram divididos em dois grupos: G1, composto pelos AVS considerados sem psicopatia (N=20; Psychopathy Checklist Revised - PCL-R< 30); e G2, composto pelos AVS com psicopatia (N=10; PCL-R≥ 30). Neste estudo foram utilizados para a coleta de dados um protocolo de coleta de informações no processo criminal, o teste de Rorschach no Sistema de Avaliação por Perfomance (R-PAS) considerando as variáveis do domínio estresse e distresse e a maturidade psicológica (ID) e o Psychopathy Checklist Revised (PCL-R) para identificação dos traços de psicopatia. Os dados foram analisados por meio do teste t de student e análise de regressão linear. Os resultados evidenciaram que 16% da psicopatia em AVS foi explicada por menor nível de estresse e distresse. Quanto à maturidade psicológica, não houve diferença estatística entre os grupos de AVS. Contudo, considerando os resultados de outros grupos investigados na literatura científica, os índices de maturidade psicológica (ID) encontrados nos participantes foram semelhantes aos de pessoas com transtornos psicológicos diversos ou de pessoas em comunidades terapêuticas por ordem judicial. O terceiro artigo teve como objetivo analisar a periculosidade e as características de personalidade de autores de violência sexual (AVS) contra crianças e adolescentes. Participaram do estudo 69 AVS divididos em dois grupos: G1, vitimizaram apenas crianças (N= 41); e G2, vitimizaram adolescentes e adultos (N= 28). Foram utilizados para a coleta de dados um protocolo de coleta de informações no processo criminal, e o Rorschach pelo sistema R-PAS. Para análise dos dados, foi criada uma variável denominada periculosidade por meio da análise fatorial de componente principal (AFCP), mediante variáveis do perfil criminal para verificar a correlação entre as variáveis do R-PAS e a periculosidade dos participantes, bem como foi realizada a comparação entre os grupos. Os dados foram analisados utilizando correlação de Pearson, t de student, qui-quadrado e Pearson ou exato de Fisher, e d de Cohen. Os resultados apontaram que quanto maior é a periculosidade maior é o uso da intelectualização como mecanismo de defesa para não lidar de modo direto e realista com aspectos que geram angústia emocional ou social. Além disso, o G1 apresentou mais perturbações e sentimentos aflitivos (PPD), estresse emocional crônico e situacional (YTVC’, Y), ideações e ações de agressividade (AGM e AGC) do que o G2. Contudo, o G2 revelou maior grau de periculosidade.
