To reproduce colors in one system which differs from another system in terms of the color gamut, it is necessary to use a color gamut mapping process. This color gamut mapping is a method to translate a specific color from a medium (screen, digital camera, scanner, digital file, etc) into another system having a difference in gamut volume. There are different rendering intent options defined by the International Color Consortium [5] to use the different reproduction goals of the user [19]. Improved understanding of the pathogenesis of infection and the availability of newer tests are changing the approach to screening and diagnosis. Molecular tests to detect DNA from the most common high-risk HPVs are FDA approved for use in conjunction with cytology in cervical cancer screening programs. More-specific tests that detect RNA from high-risk HPV types are now also available. The use of molecular tests as the primar

This study investigates whether a single research paradigm can dominate knowledge acquisition across empirical and interpretive domains or if a multi-paradigm approach is essential for achieving a holistic understanding. Twelve paradigms, including Positivism, Pragmatism, Hermeneutics, and Feminism, were evaluated across six domains: Science, Philosophy, History, Art, Religion, and Culture. The methodology employed comparative analysis, factor analysis, sensitivity testing, and inter-rater reliability assessment to quantify paradigm performance. Previous research studies on musical performance constructs, musical achievement, musical expression, and scale construction were examined to identify the factors that influence assessments of performance quality. A total of eight factors were identified: tone, intonation, rhythmic accuracy, articulation, tempo, dynamics, timbre, and interpretation. These factors were categorized as either technique or musical expression factors

The purpose of this study was to test the hypothesis that acute alcohol consumption facilitates aggression through the reduction of adaptive anxiety/fear responses to danger/threat. Participants were 80 healthy male social drinkers between 21 and 33 years of age. They were randomly assigned to one of four groups: 1) Alcohol/anxiety induction (n=20), 2) Placebo/anxiety induction (n=20), 3) Alcohol only (n=20), and 4) Placebo only (n=20). Anxiety was induced by informing participants that they had to deliver a speech about what they liked and disliked about their body in front of a video camera.

Integrated Urban Water Management (IUWM) is often proposed as a framework for comprehensively managing the water cycle in urban areas. One of the tenets of IUWM is that, due to increased impervious area, stormwater runoff in excess of the natural flow could be captured and used to supplement the water supply, while mitigating the environmental impact. This thesis tests that theory through an inter-disciplinary case study utilising legacy data for the regional city of Ballarat, Australia. AbstractConstant-time algorithms are powerful tools, since they run by reading only a constant-sized part of each input. Property testing is the most popular research framework for constant-time algorithms. In property testing, an algorithm determines whether a given instance satisfies some predetermined property or is far from satisfying the property with high probability by reading a constant-sized part of the input. A property is said to be testable if there is a constant-time testing algorithm for the property. This chapter covers property testing on graphs and games. The fields of graph a
