This study aims to examine the role of profitability as a mediating variable on the effect of company growth on debt policy. The samples were companies of textile and garment sub-sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the 2014-2018 period. The results show that asset growth (AG) did not affect the debt to equity ratio (DER). In addition, return on asset (ROA) was found to have a positive effect on the DER. Meanwhile, the ROA could not mediate the effect of asset growth on the DER.

Three-dimensional printing has already been shown to be beneficial to the fabrication of custom-fit and functional products in different industry sectors such as orthopaedics, implantology and dental technology. Especially in personal protective equipment and sportswear, three-dimensional printing offers opportunities to produce functional garments fitted to body contours by directly printing protective and (posture) supporting elements on textiles. Purpose – The purpose of this paper is to investigate the characteristics of the ex-garment workers that have turned to self-employment either in the formal or informal sector in the wake of the termination of the multi-fibre arrangement, which led to job losses. This move has given rise to a new community of entrepreneurs in the Mauritian landscape. Hence, this paper tells a story of women empowerment to disempowerment and finally the struggle for them to get re-empowered.
