Abstract:
A surgery patient is a unique medical patient due to its requirements, not in the treatment itself but its prevention of post-operative complications affecting the user's close circle experience. Indeed, the patient journey is a crucial cross-functional business process because of the action and information flow between stakeholders and medical systems. Poor patient flow can reduce productivity, increase the risk of harming patients, and reduce the level of quality perceived by patients. Thus, hospitals can enhance the quality of the processes by understanding this roadmap. Consequently, this

Abstract:
Large Language Models (LLMs) are increasingly recognized for their potential to alleviate administrative burdens in healthcare, enabling medical professionals to focus more on patient care rather than time-consuming administrative tasks. This paper explores how local LLMs can support healthcare settings by automating and streamlining routine administrative duties, improving workflow efficiency, and ultimately enhancing patient care. One of the key applications of LLMs is in the management of medical documentation. Healthcare professionals often spend significant time on tasks such as transcribi

This paper presents some of the background research that contributed to the discussions within the Inter-American Development Bank's policy and strategy regarding indigenous health issues. The paper's conceptual approach and good practice research helped focus the discussion on the importance of intercultural health practices to promote indigenous peoples' access to allopathic health as well as to strengthen those traditional health practices based on indigenous peoples' own knowledge, culture, social networks, institutions and ways of life, that have shown their effectiveness. Abstract:
Introduction: My project was a continuation of the Vascular Research Lab’s (VRL) ongoing research at the University of Tennessee Medical Center Knoxville (UTMCK) aimed at optimizing liposomal encapsulation efficiency of small interfering RNA (siRNA) which can be used to silence genes to prevent a variety of disease pathologies. Methods: Assay siRNA loading capacity of liposomes based on lipid concentration Development of a method for liposome purification: HPLC & HiTRAP Column Results & Conclusion: siRNA loading capacity Higher lipid:siRNA resulted in increased encapsulation efficiency

This paper investigates the speed of price discovery when information becomes publicly available but requires costly processing to become common knowledge. We exploit the unique institutional setting of hacks on decentralized finance (DeFi) protocols. Public blockchain data provides the precise time a hack’s transactions are recorded—becoming public information—while subsequent social media disclosures mark the transition to common knowledge. This empirical design allows us to isolate the price impact occurring during the interval characterized by information asymmetry driven purely by differe

Abstract:
Internationalisation is known to contribute to higher education development, particularly through the integration of international, inter-cultural or global dimensions into the purpose, functions, or delivery of higher education institutions (Knight 2004). Within this inter-connected world, higher education institutions are pressured to produce quality human resources with global citizenship characteristics. Students have benefited greatly from this process as they can have access to international/regional standards of education services and the opportunity to be exposed to other countries, pe
