This research investigated the issues behind the slow intake of electronic tendering in construction. The study found that organisations are not ready for certain aspects that affect their readiness for electronic tendering. The researchers developed model includes a new hypothesis that could improve the organisation's readiness. The model has been empirically tested in Saudi Arabia.
