Abstract:
It is clear that the modern role of both the physicians, in general, and psychiatrists, in particular, requires intensive decision-making which is helped by management principles. Psychiatrists, in addition to their clinical qualifications and skills are asked to occupy positions and undertake responsibilities as clinical executives, directors of health care facilities, administrators of Academic units and even Mental Health Commissioners, all of them requiring managerial knowledge and leadership qualities. Increased pressure by patients for improved quality of services and access to new and innovative treatments needs to be balanced against the expectation of the health care system of the physician to act ‘economically’, following cost containment guidelines and staying within expenditure ceilings. Such decisions require specialized knowledge and a deep understanding of the principles and the functions of management and health economics. Such knowledge is only gained through specialized training by introducing management teaching, either at the undergraduate level or preferably at the residency level, as part of the core curriculum or as an elective which may include items such as administration principles, quality assurance, budgeting, resource allocation, accreditation procedures and what is close to the psychiatrist's clinical background the personnel management. This may be extended to ongoing professional education programmes for psychiatrists who are already active in the field.

Abstract:
From the core of its inception, the American school system has been plagued with multiple facets of systemic oppression, ranging from the inequitable distribution of funds and resources, lack of authentic and relatable curricula programs, lack of quality teachers well versed in culturally relevant pedagogy to the development and implementation of disciplinary measures that quite frankly mimic the nation's incarceration system. The purpose of this chapter is to explore the multi-faceted definitions of equity and equality in depth, along with a comparison as to how the terms converge with another. The chapter then shifts to current inequities in education including an exploration of funding formulas, core standards, the increased use of negative associations, teacher qualifications, as well as school culture and disciplinary climate. The chapter concludes with various recommendations to remedy these issues in an innovative manner that will ultimately benefit students.

Abstract:
This chapter covers Murtaḍā’s changes to the doctrine of Imama, which proved to be permanent. Understood as an expression of divine assistance, the Imama is studied in its theoretical aspects: definition, justification, charismatic qualifications and relation to political philosophy. This establishes the theory’s two core principles: the necessity of the Imama and infallibility of the Imam. The discussion then turns to an examination of applications of the theory to particular Imams, introducing a sacred-historical outlook that starts with Muhammad’s designation of ʿAli as his successor. The last part treats two major challenges arising from inopportune historical developments, i.e. the Imami view of Muhammad’s companions and the occultation of the Twelfth Imam. The chapter is divided into three sub-headings: Theoretical Model; The Test of History; Inconvenient Outcomes.

Abstract:
Knowledge management theories emphasize the role of knowledge work and knowledge workers in knowledge-intensive organizations. However, technologization has changed the knowledge work environment. Many knowledge workers create, process, and share simplified information in digitalized networks. This complicates the profession-based definitions of knowledge workers. This chapter contributes to the emerging concern about the future trends of knowledge management. First, the chapter suggests that knowledge management models ignore a large group of professionals possessing practical knowledge. These vocational professionals are considered a new target group for knowledge management. Vocational professionals’ practical knowledge is worth managing since they operate with organizational core functions. Second, this chapter presents an alternative education-based categorization of workers. The different functions of KM are manifest in the three categories: a diminishing group of workers without professional qualifications, a large group of vocational professionals, and a group of workers with higher education.

Abstract:
The establishment of myriad Customer service Centers, or as colloquially known, Call Centers have become a much accepted reality now in India. The country known for its assimilative nature has also painfully adopted it, though not quite got adapted to its demands. This much appreciated system by the parents of young students leaves them agape at the amount of salary it promises in comparison to their children’s educational qualifications. Call Centers have become a major hub for any intermediate passed out youngster, with dreamy eyes, full of ambitions, and passions to win the world at any cost. In the present chapter an attempt is made to interrogate the relative benefits and weigh them with the demerits that it has accumulated on the loyal workers. The key theme of the chapter is the analysis of subtle politics in the engagement of these young souls which steals their youthful charisma, vivacious spirit, zeal and vigor in return of some rupees which neither the beneficiary can enjoy nor utilize. A cultural interpretation of modernization, progress and development with a focus on the sustained core-periphery relation in a theoretically imagined world economy finds its place into the rubric of chapter. It interrogates the motives of western countries (or at least the cause behind such accusation) to sustain their monopolistic cultural imperialism through multifarious means, as evidenced in the case of Call centers in India.

Abstract:
The purpose of the article is to determine the theoretical and organizational principles of application of accounting outsourcing by business entities. Methodology. Methods of analysis and synthesis were used to determine the characteristics and features of the organization of accounting outsourcing. The generalization of the existing experience of application of accounting outsourcing is carried out by a monographic method. On the basis of economic analysis and comparison, trends in the development of accounting outsourcing are identified. Methodology. The development of outsourcing is explained by its ability to increase the competitiveness of products, to promote the introduction of the latest advances in scientific and technological progress, to optimize costs. The application of knowledge and experience of specialists specializing in solving certain issues allows to focus the resources of companies on the development of strengths and promising areas and not to spend extra effort and money on the development of new non-core activities. The generalization of statistics on the current state of outsourcing in Ukraine shows that its effective application is hampered by the lack of free financial resources to invest in new management technologies, lack of awareness of business entities about the experience of outsourcing and the market of outsourcing services, lack of legal mechanisms. Generalization of functionally-oriented, cooperative, managerial, instrumental, integrated, situational, complex approaches gives grounds for outsourcing to understand the management tool, which allows to concentrate the resources of the business entity on the main activity, provides profit growth and increase competitiveness through contractual transfer, non-core functions of specialists or companies that specialize in their implementation and perform more efficiently than the entity. Among the advantages of outsourcing there are reducing the cost of accounting, improving service quality, accountability, confidentiality, tax optimization, reducing the likelihood of fraud by employees, ensuring impartiality and objectivity of accounting, access to additional resources in the field of finance, accounting and tax calculations. However, outsourcing has certain disadvantages, namely the risk of information leakage, possible lack of efficiency, formal performance of duties, liquidation of the outsourcing company, loss of control over own resources and part of the case may be lost, additional time to agree on the terms of the contract. Minimize the disadvantages of outsourcing allows careful and reasonable choice of outsourcing company, which should take into account: data privacy guarantee, staff qualifications, cost of services, reputation, popularity, experience of the outsourcer in the market, flexibility in organizing services, application of the latest technical solutions, outsourcing it has standards of interaction and internal procedures.
