Abstract:

The thesis discusses the possibilities of project management and analysis and it is focused on solving project analysis using the network analysis. The text describes chosen used methods of analysis. This text together with other findings in the theoretical part is used in the solution of practice part. The aim of this thesis was to create a functional Microsoft Project-based add-in of Microsoft Excel to ensure planning and management of simple projects. This created add-in can manage the project, manage project resources, allocate these resources to individual project activities and carry out simple analysis of the project, including a Gantt chart.

The master thesis aims to design, implement, and compare algorithms that optimize processes in logistics, mainly in the planning phase. Heuristics and approximation genetic algorithms will find an near-optimal solution to NP-hard problem, such as the traveling salesman problem, with a delay less than several hours. The role of this algorithm is to plan an efficient route for garbage trucks that collect and distribute large-scale waste to waste yards in a specific city. The goal of the optimization is to minimize the shipping costs.

This diploma thesis deals with creating a project proposal of the research center construction according to the required specifications by SEDOX Company Ltd. The theoretical part describes the basic knowledge and tools of a project management – analytical tools for evaluating the financial and time project costs, also risk analysis relating to competitiveness and maintaining on top of the market. The third part is devoted to the current situation of the development application market. There is the complete proposal of the research centre construction, using the tools according to the IPMA (International Project Management Association) that were described in the theoretical part. Abstract:

A nivel mundial se sabe que, con el transcurrir de los años la industria del sector plástico se mueve en un nivel de crecimiento que está relacionado principalmente a su amplia capacidad de transformación, combinación, durabilidad y otras aplicaciones que si son correctamente empleados contribuyen a mejorar la capacidad de competitividad de las organizaciones haciendo frente a otros convertidores. Sin embargo, esta situación creciente genera que los procesos productivos se encuentren más saturado generando mayores registros de pérdidas en tiempo que impacta en el incumplimiento de la demanda, y ya que las fábricas de producción plástica venden tiempo de máquina esta situación afecta la rentabilidad de la misma. Para poder mitigar estas situaciones se han realizado diversos esfuerzos surgiendo filosofías y metodologías que permitan encontrar la solución a estos problemas, debido a la gran importancia que tiene para las empresas trabajar con la mayor eficiencia en sus procesos y con ello buscar incrementar su disponibilidad productiva para incrementar el volumen de ventas. En tal sentido, se aborda la implementación de la metodología Lean Manufacturing aplicada bajo el soporte del ciclo Deming y cuyo objetivo principal será desarrollar una estrategia en base al ciclo PHVA que permitirá incrementar la eficiencia de máquina de manera sostenida. Su aporte se desarrolla en torno a la aplicación exitosa de la combinación de las herramientas Lean seleccionadas bajo el esquema Deming y desarrolladas bajo un cronograma de Gantt para la solución del caso y que se desarrollan en este artículo pudiendo servir de guía inicial a otros técnicos que buscan incrementar la productividad de sus procesos en otras fábricas del sector.
Worldwide, it is known that, over the years, the industry of the plastic sector is moving at a level of growth that is mainly related to its broad capacity for transformation, combination, durability and other applications that, if correctly used, contribute to improving the capacity of competitiveness of organizations facing other converters. However, this growing situation means that production processes are more saturated, generating higher losses in time that impact on non-compliance with demand, and since plastic production plants sell machine time, this situation affects the profitability of the same In order to mitigate these situations, various efforts have been made to come up with philosophies and methodologies that allow finding the solution to these problems, due to the great importance for companies to work with the highest efficiency in their processes and thus seek to increase their productive availability to increase sales volume In this regard, the implementation of the Lean Manufacturing methodology applied under the support of the Deming cycle whose main objective will be to develop a strategy based on the PHVA cycle that will increase machine efficiency in a sustained manner is approached. Its contribution is developed around the successful application of the combination of the Lean tools selected under the Deming scheme and developed under a Gantt timetable for the solution of the case and that are developed in this article, being able to serve as an initial guide to other technicians who They seek to increase the productivity of their processes in other factories in the sector.

A avaliação de uma interface de usuário pode ser feita em diferentes fases do ciclo de desenvolvimento de um software. Avaliações formativas são aquelas feitas ao longo do processo de design, antes do sistema estar concluído, e muitas vezes, antes de uma única linha de código estar escrita. No âmbito da engenharia semiótica, a linguagem de modelagem MoLIC (Modeling Language for Interaction as Conversation) visa apoiar a reflexão do designer durante o design de IHC. No entanto, não há um método específico para avaliar soluções de interação elaboradas com a MoLIC. Visando apoiar o processo de avaliação de uma solução representada em MoLIC, este trabalho apresenta a MoLIC WOz, uma ferramenta computacional que permite emular a interação usuário-sistema representada em um diagrama de interação MoLIC. A ferramenta torna possível essa interação através da técnica Wizard of Oz (WOz), onde um usuário interage com o sistema sendo operado por uma outra pessoa (o Wizard). O objetivo desse trabalho foi verificar de que maneira a MoLIC WOz promove reflexão ao seu usuário, aquele que interage com a emulação da interação do sistema em avaliação. Para avaliar essa proposta, foi realizado um estudo com doze participantes interagindo com a ferramenta. Os resultados do estudo indicam que a MoLIC WOz tem potencial para ajudar na avaliação da comunicabilidade de diagramas de interação por promover e motivar reflexão. Novos estudos com a ferramenta são sugeridos para verificar outras formas de apoio à avaliação formativa desse modelo.
A user interface can be evaluated at different stages of the software development cycle. Formative evaluations are those that are made throughout the design process, before the system is finished, and often before a single line of code is written. Within semiotic engineering, the modeling language MoLIC (Modeling Language for Interaction as Conversation) aims to support the reflection of the designer during the HCI design. However, there is no specific method to evaluate interaction solutions prepared with MoLIC. Aiming to support the evaluation process of a solution represented in MoLIC, this work presents MoLIC WOz, a computational tool that emulates the user-system interaction represented in a MoLIC interaction diagram. The tool makes this interaction through the Wizard of Oz (WOz) technique, where a user interacts with the system being operated by another person (the Wizard). The goal of this work was to analyze how MoLIC WOz promotes reflection to its user, who plays the role of experiencing the emulation of system’s interaction. To assess this proposal, we conducted a study with twelve participants interacting with the tool. The results of this study indicate that MoLIC WOz has potential to support the communicability evaluation of MoLIC interaction diagrams through induced reflection. Further studies with the tool are suggested to verify other ways that support formative evaluations of this model.

The aim of that diploma thesis is low power transformer simulation via its substitutitional circuitry.As Instrument for matematical description of model and simulation of various operating situations with different amplitude and types of load was used Labview software. The software was simultaneously used for real transformer measurement and to compare these results with calculated values. The created program is also applied for measuring excercise for students. The aim of this master thesis is to develop an application for creating calculations and offers to potential customers and to develop an application for managing Gantt charts. These applications will be in future used for implementation to the information system of Wedding in Prague Inc. company. Along with the development of applications author of this thesis aims to design, create and implement a fully functional database to support the applications. Before the development of the applications the revision of the submitters demands and the revision of previously designed interface are made. In the end of this work the user testing is done to confirm the correctness of the functionality of applications. The submitter, Wedding in Prague Inc., runs business in the destination event management branch the applications are adjusted to this type of business branch and its requirements. Contribution of this thesis is the creation of mentioned applications and their preparation for its future implementation into information system of the company.

The aim of this thesis is to analyze the current state of the manufacturing process of the company ALFA s.r.o. Moravská Třebová, to submit own suggestions for the introduction of lean production to save time, costs and strengthening of the quality in the company and establish the conditions of implementation, in which is possible to implement specified proposals. The operational objective is also an explanation of benefits that gets the company after implementation of these proposals. Abstract:

The presented master's thesis deals with the safety assessment of several variants of the impeller with different blades length. The motivation for creating this thesis is to find the solution of the problem situation which is characterized by the breakdown of the steam turbine impeller with blades length of 30mm. As confirmed in this thesis, the impeller with blades length of 30mm is operated in the resonance. Likewise, according to the technical standard ČSN EN ISO 10437 its operation is not safe. As the correction action for the problem situation solving is proposed the prolongation of the impeller's blades. The safety is detected for six variants of impeller with dierent blades length. For each variant, there is executed a modal analysis and its results are drawn up into the Campbell diagram. On the basis of this diagram, the safety of individual components is evaluated. The last part of the masters thesis concerns with the examination of the influence of blades length on the modal properties of the impeller.

An Hartree-Fock treatment is applied, and both variational and Green's function methods are used to calculate physical quantities from the linearized Hamiltonian. The Kondo phase is represented by finite hybridization. Magnetic ordering is examined via ordering vectors, but coexistence with the Kondo phase is not allowed. Phase diagrams are produced in S=1/2 and J=3/2 with second-order transitions at Kondo-paramagnetic and magnetic-paramagnetic boundaries, and first order transitions between Kondo and magnetic phases. Various coupling strengths are explored. Magnetic phases found include antiferromagnetism, ferromagnetism, and spin-density wave ordering of both commensurate and incommensurate varieties. In S=1/2, the magnetic phase exhibits a spike in critical temperature at half-filling. In J=3/2, the Kondo phase is reentrant at weaker coupling but not at stronger coupling.

Tato diplomová práce je zaměřena na analýzu chování magnetopiezoelastického kmitajícího nosníku. V teoretické části jsou odvozeny diskretizované parametry, které popisují reálnou soustavu jako model s jedním stupněm volnosti. Tento model je následně použit pro kvalitativní i kvantitativní analýzu chování tohoto harvesteru. Frekvenční odezva harmonicky buzeného systému je zkoumána v dvouparametrické nebo tříparametrické analýze v závislosti na amplitudě buzení, elektrické zátěži a vzdálenosti mezi magnety. Posledně zmíněný parametr je v práci tím hlavním, proto je vliv vzdálenosti magnetů zkoumán také s pomocí bifurkačních diagramů. Tyto diagramy byly navíc použity k vytvoření oscilační "mapy", která pro každé zatěžovací podmínky ukazuje, jakou vzdálenost magnetů je třeba nastavit, aby bylo generováno nejvíce energie. Práce je doplněna o ukázky několika jevů, které mohou značně ovlivnit chování systému, pokud se nejdená o čistě harmonické buzení.

Planar antennas are used in several technical applications. The family of planar antennas contains microstrip antennas, which are very popular due to the low weight, low profile, simple manufacturing and easy mass production. Lower gain and excitation of surface waves are disadvantages of microstrip antennas. The propagation of surface waves can be efficiently suppressed if the conventional substrate is replaced by an electromagnetic bandgap (EBG) substrate. Microstrip antennas on EBG substrates have been presented in an open literature for several years. Nevertheless, no published work is devoted to the design of EBG substrates, which can suppress surface waves at several frequencies those cannot be covered by a single bandgap. In order to reach optimum parameters of designed antennas, selected global optimization methods are applied (genetic algorithms, particle swarm optimization, ant colony optimization).
