The Joint Commission provides accreditation standards for staging hospital waste, but there are no federal lifting safety standards for linen bags. We evaluated hospital laundry bag lifting using the Revised National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) Lifting Equation. We hypothesized that the permitted 32-gallon linen container capacity might allow filling to weights above our calculated Recommended Weight Limit (RWL) for some lifting positions and contents. We found that 30- and 40-gallon bags filled with loose dry linen had predicted weights within estimated RWLs only for

The booming computational thinking and deep learning make it possible to construct agile, efficient, and robust deep learning-driven decision-making support engine for the operation of container terminal handling systems (CTHSs). Within the conceptual framework of computational logistics, an attention mechanism oriented hybrid convolutional neural network and recurrent neural network deep learning architecture (AMO-HCR-DLA) is proposed technically to predict the container terminal liner handling conditions that mainly include liner handling time (LHT) and total working time of quay crane farm

Abstract:
The purpose of this study was 1) to determine the number of chrysanthemum distribution lines and distribution types from farmers in Pancasari to retailers, 2) to find out the system, people, and the impact of chrysanthemum postharvest handling in distribution from farmers in Pancasari to retailers, 3) to determine the impact of improvements postharvest on chrysanthemum damage from farmers in Pancasari to retailers with soaking treatment using sodium metabisulfite solution. The method used is the snowball sampling method in the form of surveys and interviews with the Commodity System Assessment

Abstract:
Color configuration plays an important role in art, design, and communication, which can influence the user’s experiences, feelings, and psychological well-being. It is laborious to manually select a color theme from scratch for handling large batches of images. Alternatively, it can inspire designers’ creations and save their time as well by leveraging the color themes in existing art works (e.g. fabric, paintings). However, it is challenging to automatically extract perceptually plausible color themes from fabric images. This paper presents a new automatic framework for extracting color them

Abstract:
AbstractTelemetric techniques for the monitoring of physiological parameters during housing, handling and transport may help producers to reduce mortality and improve meat quality. In order to know the reliability of electrocardiogram parameters as stress indicators, piglets (12 to 23 kg) being different with respect to the halothane gene (homozygous halothane sensitive (nn) and non-sensitive (NN), heterozygotes (nN)), and thus different with respect to stress susceptibility, were monitored with an ambulatory ECG device during housing, handling and transport.
