After the hope for resurrection of the Judeo-Christian tradition, Pedagogy paved the way to moral improvement according to the winds of the Enlightenment. On the one hand, the metaphysical crisis – which involves the death of man as a creature of God – has resulted in the death of Pedagogy, which has lost its teleological and eschatological significance. Abstract:
Abstract In Peter Singer’s article “The Challenge of Brain Death for the Sanctity of Life Ethic”, he articulates that ethics has always played an important role in defining death. He claims that the demand for redefining death spreads rather from new ethical challenges than from a new, scientifically improved understanding of the nature of death. As thorough as his plea for dismissal of the brain-death definition is, he does not avoid the depiction of the complementary relationship between science and ethics. Quite the opposite, he tends to formulate a stronger, philosophically more consistent

The Church is the fruit of the eternal divine plan of salvation. John Paul II underlines that the Church comes out of the eternal and abundant love of the Father; this love is manifested and realized through the coming, death and resurrection of the Son and through the continuing and vivifying presence of the Holy Spirit. The Church is therefore the work of the Trinity.

Frequency of immoral behavior was not related to fears of death, but both strength of religious views and behavior efficacy were negatively correlated

The article offers a brief study of the oppositional concepts LIFE and DEATH in Ray Bradbury’s literary space. The choice of the field is explained by the fact that it’s the abstract concepts that represent the greatest difficulty for the conceptual analysis thus challenging the linguists. The referents of such concepts proved to have blurred boundaries, and therefore it is difficult to define them; their axiological features are always subjective in nature. Native speakers operate such concepts subconsciously and explanatory dictionaries record only the most general features of their linguist

The paper delves into Spinoza’s perspective on death and how the acquisition of genuine knowledge ensures the mind’s survival after the body’s demise. Spinoza is well known for characterizing the human mind as the idea of the body, which therefore reflects all of the body’s states and is fundamentally connected to its physical destiny, encompassing growth and development as well as eventual extinction. However, Spinoza also holds that the mind possesses the capacity to transcend its limited perspective and contemplate things from the vantage point of God, freeing itself from its mortal fate. T
