En primer lugar, se plantea una reflexión sobre el propio concepto de segunda generación, posteriormente se contextualiza el estudio sobre las segundas generaciones en los estudios migratorios internacionales, españoles y canarios, para luego hacer una somera caracterización de una parte de las segundas generaciones en Canarias, así como contemplar las cuestines sociales más relevantes en torno a esta realidad.
