Abstract:
The median nerve, the longest branch of the brachial plexus, is formation in axillary fossa by a fusion of two nerves including the radix lateralis nervi mediani and radix medialis nervi mediani. A variant of that formation was observed during routine dissection at anatomy department of our faculty. It was found that the left median nerve was formed by three branches (two lateral and one medial). One of the roots originated from the fasciculus medialis; the other two roots originated from the fasciculus lateralis. Of the four main nerves traversing the arm, namely median, ulnar, radial and musculocutaneous, the ulnar and median nerve do not give any branches to muscles of the arm. Ulnar nerve after taking origin from medial cord of brachial plexus runs distally through axilla on medial side of axillary artery till middle of arm, where it pierces the medial intermuscular septum and enters the posterior compartment of arm. Methods: The median nerve was dissected from the digital nerves to the antecubital fossa in 14 fresh upper extremities. Abstract:
Review question / Objective: What is the prevalence of Carpal Tunnel syndrome among dental health care providers? Condition being studied: Carpal tunnel syndrome is median nerve peripheral neuropathy which causes paresthesia, pain, and numbness in territory of median nerve (thumb, index, middle, and lateral half of the ring finger). Information sources: Pubmed, SCOPUS, EMBASE, CINAHL, Web of Sciences, Dentistry and Oral Science Source from inception to January 1st 2022.

Review question / Objective: To explore/summarize the performance of deep learning in automatic localization and segmentation of the median nerve at the carpal tunnel level. Condition being studied: Participants with and without carpal tunnel syndrome. Information sources: The following electronic databases will be searched, encompassing PubMed, Medline, Embase and Web of Science. We target the studies investigating in the utility of deep neural network on the evaluation of the median nerve in the carpal tunnel.

Abstract:
Review question / Objective: This work aims to report and summarize the course of functional recovery following crush injuries, transections and segmental resection of the rat median nerve. Condition being studied: Peripheral nerve injuries. Eligibility criteria: Only such studies were included which featured at least two postoperative time points at in which functional recovery was evaluated. Main outcome(s): Functional recovery as assessed by the grasping test.

Abstract:
Review question / Objective: We aim to compare the efficacy and safety of different acupuncture and related therapies for carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS) using systematic review and network meta-analysis (NMA). Condition being studied: CTS is a symptomatic condition caused by compression of the median nerve within the carpal tunnel. Patients with CTS typically report paresthesia or pain in distribution of median nerve distal to the wrist. Diverse non-surgical treatments and surgical decompression have been used in the management of CTS. Acupuncture, a prominent component of traditional Chinese me

Abstract:
The obturator nerve block has been shown to be a useful procedure in many clinical settings. The use of ultrasound has made this technique easier and safer to perform. It is important to know the anatomical landmarks and more espe-cially the expected motor endpoints when using a stimulating needle, so the ultrasound technique, where difficult, can augment a landmark technique. The operator should be careful of repeated attempts as the medial thigh is a highly vascular area. It is recommended where possible to use ultrasound-guided techniques.

Abstract:
The main focus of this research paper is on-media axon branching and adhesion investigation of neurons as stimulated by modulated potentials on micro-patterned gold substrate. Due to the prolonged and inefficient procedures of nerve repair, it is essential that we effectively incorporate different parameters and techniques as well as investigate cell-cell and cell-substrate interactions to explore new boundaries. This could lead to more operational options for nerve regeneration. Initially, the behavior of cell growth is first observed. 3T3 and Neuro2A cells are grown according to specific pro

Abstract:
In this study, we investigated neuroinfectious capacity of H5N1 (A/Thailand/NK165/2005) isolated from plasma of infected individual during the third wave of Thailand outbreaks using human neuroblastoma SH-SY5Y cells. This was due to lack of information regarding neuroinfectivity of this variant. Results demonstrated that H5N1/NK165 induced servere CPEs in these neuronal cells. H5N1-specific hemagglutinin was found in the cytoplasm of the infected cells as early as 12 h post-infection. By 24 h post-infection, all cells in the cultures were infected. These findings coincided with time course of
