This research paper tries to inculcate the epiphany Shakuntala experiences once she is insultingly evicted from the palace of the king, Dusyanta. Although she devoted herself to Dusyanta blindly, he denounces to accept Shakuntala his wife. A disparaged betrayed pregnant wife leaves the palace and births the child in the midst of forest. Her real struggle in quest of her ‘self’ and nurturing her son singly is the most captivating scenario of this epic. The king’s abandoning Shakuntala corroborates novice strength in her which leads to her further recognition about her position as a beloved and

But what exactly does the “recognition” in the play signify—is Shakuntala recognized for what she is, or is

Abstract:
According to Indian philosophy, human body is said to be formed of five elements – Panchtattva, namely earth (prithvi), water (apas), fire (agni), air (vayu) and aether (akasha). From the birth of an individual till his death, the Indian way of life is closely connected to nature. From home hearths to the funeral pyres, wood and fire are predominantly present. A newborn is consecrated with the holy waters of Ganges and the ashes of the dead are immersed in the same holy water. Indians have long had an intense connection with nature. This connection is clearly reflected in the Indian mythology.

Many of the arrhythmias tend to be asymptomatic and detected incidentally, while some others may be picked up too late after a catastrophic presentation. The goal of this study was to document the arrhythmia profile in children presenting to our tertiary care hospital in India. We also reviewed the early and late outcomes of arrhythmias in these patients (including in isolated and post cardiac surgical patients). Amongst 100 patients with arrhythmias, 35% were detected incidentally for presentations like breathlessness (29%) and refusal to feed. A majority of patients (70%) did not have any un

Ancient Indian treatises on religious piety—dharmasūtra and dharmaśāstra—shame alcoholic drinks and drinking. Although there were many weak alcoholic beverages like beer, there is still a quarrel of distillation. Robert Marshall, Frank Raymond Allchin and Marianne Oort believe there was a distillation in the Vedic and later times, i.e. in the first millennium BCE. James McHugh and Irfan Habib connect distillation with the early second millennium CE.
