When sound waves propagate in a duct in the presence of turbulent flow, turbulent mixing can cause attenuation of the sound waves extra to that caused by the viscothermal effects. Experiments show that compared to the viscothermal effects, this turbulent absorption becomes the dominant contribution to the sound attenuation at sufficiently low frequencies. The mechanism of this turbulent absorption is attributed to the turbulent stress and the turbulent heat transfer acting on the coherent perturbations (including the sound waves) near the duct wall, i.e. sound-turbulence interaction. Arbitrary high order numerical methods for time-harmonic acoustic scattering problems originally defined on unbounded domains are constructed. This is done by coupling recently developed high order local absorbing boundary conditions (ABCs) with finite difference methods for the Helmholtz equation. These ABCs are based on exact representations of the outgoing waves by means of farfield expansions. The finite difference methods, which are constructed from a deferred-correction (DC) technique, approximate the Helmholtz equation and the ABCs to any desired order. As a result, high order numerical

Abstract:
The main purpose of this thesis is to find a relation between the results obtained with numerical simulations and the results coming from the experiments in the case of an automotive wheel. Before this study, it was investigated the phenomenon of the vortex shedding of a 2D cylinder. It was proven that the shedding frequency has a linear relation with the free stream velocity and this relation depends on the Strouhal number. The last stage of this acquistion campaign was to compare the calibration of the hot-wire anemometer with the Pitot probe and the calibration exploiting the vortex shedd

Abstract:
This thesis is focused on analysis of the development of gross month wage and in particular on development and examining seasonality. There are also described the institutions and their surveys of wages, such as the Czech Statistical Office, Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, which administers the Information System of Average Earnings. The monthly income is compared between regions and between major classes KZAM. The development of time series is modeled by the Box-Jenkins methodology, further charts of seasonal values and seasonal indexes . For comparison the a
