Tulisan ini bertujuan memaparkan korelasi antara produksi seni sastra, seni teate, dan film serta menjelaskan keterkaitan yang erat antara urbanisasi, industrialisasi, dan urbanisme dengan perkembangan iptek dan seni, termasuk seni sastra, seni drama/teater, dan seni film/sinetron. Seirama dengan dinamika proses globalisasi di segala bidang, termasuk budaya dan seni, fenomena tersebut akan berdampak pada proses akulturasi lintas/silang budaya, perge- seran dan atau perubahan tata nilai dan identitas budaya bangsa. Akankah muncul identitas bu- daya ’baru’ (sebut yang khas ’urban’) dengan cara mengesampingkan atau membuang jauh-jauh identitas budaya ’lama’ (sebut tradisional) yang dianggap sudah ketinggalan zaman? Bagaimana sepantasnya ’masyarakat sastra, teater, dan film’ menyikapi fenomena-fenomena tersebut secara kritis, realistis, dinamis, dan arif? Serial Sinetron Film “Intan” dalam makalah ini diambil seba- gai studi kasus karena rating-nya yang relatif konstan tertinggi jika dibandingkan dengan serial sinetron film lainnya di media yang sama dalam kurun waktu yang sama. Abstract: This paper is aimed to describe correlation between literary, theater, and film art production and explain the strong interrelatedness between urbanization, industrialization, and urbanism by the development of science technology and art, including literary art, drama/theater art, and film/sinetron art. Along with the dynamic of globalization process in all aspects, including culture and art (literary, theater, and film art in this case), the phenomena will have influences to cross/inter-cultural acculturation process, shift and/or change in a nation’s cultural identity and values. Will a ‘new’ (call it urban) cultural identity emerge by putting aside or getting rid of the ‘old’ cultural identity (call it traditional) which is regarded as old fashion? How should a ‘literary, theater, and film community’ behave critically, realistically, and dynamically, and wisely to the phenomena? Sinetron series Intan in this article has been taken as a case study for its relatively-constant-high rating compared to other sinetrons in the same media and period. Luis Valdez, tarım işçilerinden oluşturduğu tiyatrosunun temellerini Chicano kültürünü referans alan üç sacayağı üzerine kurmuştur: daha çok politik içerik taşıyan doğaçlama kısa oyun anlamına gelen actos, Maya ve Aztek mitoloji ve efsanelerini yansıtan mitos ve de oyuna müzik, şarkı ve dans yorumu getiren corridos. Bir Chicano kimliği yaratıp, Chicanoların öz kültürleri ile bugünkü yaşamlarını içselleştirebilmeleri Valdez’in oyunlarında yer alan temaların en çok öne çıkanlarından birisidir. Bu makalede, Valdez’in, Zoot Suit, Bandido! ve I Don’t Have to Show You No Stinking Badges! isimli seçilmiş üç oyunu ele alınmıştır. Bu oyunların incelenme nedeni, her birinin bir yandan toplumdaki Chicano önyargısını hicvederken, diğer yandan oluşturulmaya çalışılan Chicano kimliğinin şekillenmesine yardımcı olmasıdır. Bu amaç doğrultusunda Valdez’in neredeyse tüm oyunlarında, en az ana karakter kadar sahnede varlığına işaret edilen Chicano olmak “düşünce”sinin, “eylem”e dönüşümündeki süreç irdelenmektedir. Hâlihazırda var olan Chicano kimliğinin ve Chicano topluluğunun varlığını reddeden kesime tanıtılması halinde “varlık,” bir olgu olmaktan çıkıp bir eyleme yani “olay”a dönüşür. Bu bağlamda, tiyatro okuruna/izleyicisine, Chicano Tiyatrosu’nun Amerikan Tiyatrosundaki yerini özellikle sosyokültürel ve politik mesajlarla göstermeye çalışıldığı gözlemlenmektedir. ABSTRACT IN ENGLISH Reflections of Chicano Culture in Selected Plays of Luis Valdez Luis Valdez established his theater consisting of farm workers on a trivet, taking Chicano culture as a reference: actos improvised short play with more political content, mitos reflecting Maya and Aztec mythology and legends, and corridos bringing music, song, and dance interpretation in play. Creating a Chicano identity and internalizing their mother culture and present lives is one of the outstanding themes in Valdez’s plays. This paper discusses three of Valdes’s selected plays, Zoot Suit, Bandido!, and I Don’t Have To Show You No Stinking Badges!. The reason why these plays are analyzed is that each of them helps to shape the Chicano identity, while satirizing the Chicano bias in society. For this purpose, in almost all of Valdez’s plays, the process of transforming the “idea” of being Chicano, which is indicated at least as much as the protagonist’s presence on the stage, into “action” of becoming Chicano is scrutinized. In the case of introducing the already-existing Chicano identity and community to those who deny its existence, “being” turns from being a phenomenon into an “action”. In this regard, it is observed that it is tried to exhibit Chicano Theater’s place in the American Theater especially with sociocultural and political messages.

<p><strong>Abstract</strong></p><p>Reşat Nuri Güntekin is one of the prolific author of Turkish Literature. He owns a lot of literary works within novel and theatre play genres. He cogitated about all components of theatre from decor, till play writer and he wrote many articles. His study on this field was continued by other authors in the following years. Turgut Özakman is a writer who, like Reşat Nuri, has been thought over play writing and studied on theoretical part of theater. The novel named <em>Değirmen </em>which was published in 1944 by Reşat Nuri, was adapted to theater by the name of <em>Sarıpınar 1914</em> by Turgut Özakman. The play was first staged by Ankara Sanat Tiyatrosu on 16 February 1968.</p><p>With the increasing interdisciplinary studies in recent years, the concept of adaptation has attracted the attention of researchers from almost every field. Therefore, the studies adapted from novel to theater have been discussed again with a new point of view. In this article named<em> Romandan Tiyatroya: Değirmen / Sarıpınar 1914,</em> Reşat Nuri’s novel <em>Değirmen</em> and Turgut Özakman’s theatre play <em>Sarıpınar 1914</em> will be evaluated in the framework of the “adaptation theory”. It will be discussed the differences between the novel and theatre play and also reasons of the differences with the comparative evaluations made on the concept of plot, character, time and place.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Öz</strong></p><p>Reşat Nuri Güntekin, Türk edebiyatının en üretken yazarlarından biridir. Özellikle roman ve tiyatro türünde birçok eseri vardır. Tiyatro konusunda dekordan oyun yazarlığına kadar her alanda kafa yormuş ve bu konuda birçok makale yazmıştır. Onun bu alanda yürüttüğü çalışmalar sonraki yıllarda başka yazarlar tarafından da devam ettirilmiştir. Turgut Özakman da tıpkı Reşat Nuri gibi oyun yazarlığı ile meşgul olmuş ve tiyatronun kuramsal kısmı üzerinde çalışmış bir yazardır. Reşat Nuri’nin 1944’te yayımlanan<em> Değirmen </em>isimli romanı, Turgut Özakman tarafından<em> Sarıpınar 1914</em> adıyla tiyatroya uyarlanmıştır. Oyun ilk kez 16 Şubat 1968 tarihinde Ankara Sanat Tiyatrosu tarafından sahnelenmiştir.<em> </em></p><p>Son yıllarda disiplinler arası çalışmaların artmasıyla birlikte uyarlama kavramı neredeyse her alandan araştırmacıların dikkatini çekmektedir. Dolayısıyla romandan tiyatroya aktarılan eserler de yeni bir bakış açısıyla tekrar ele alınmaya başlanmıştır. <em>Romandan Tiyatroya: Değirmen / Sarıpınar 1914 </em>adlı makalede Reşat Nuri Güntekin’in <em>Değirmen </em>isimli romanı ve Turgut Özakman’ın <em>Sarıpınar 1914</em> adlı tiyatro oyunu, “uyarlama kuramı” çerçevesinde değerlendirilecektir. Özellikle olay örgüsü, kişiler, zaman, mekân kavramları üzerinden yapılacak karşılaştırmalı değerlendirmelerle, iki eser arasındaki farklılıkların nedenleri ve bu farklılıkların uyarlanan eser üzerindeki etkileri tartışılacaktır. </p>

<p><strong>Aim:</strong> The purpose of this research is to identify courses related to arts and sports in nursing curricula which is identified a discipline including the responsibility to promote and preserve community health care and planning improvement of healthcare systems.</p><p><strong>Methods:</strong> This descriptive research was carried out in March 2014. There are 114 nursing schools in 179 universities in Turkey. 105 Nursing education curricula were attained from The Council of Higher Education Web Site. The diversity of courses related to arts and sport were evaluated. The data were evaluated with SPSS. This includes numbers, percent methods and Chi-square analysis.</p><p><strong>Results:</strong> There were 179 universities including 108 state and 71 private universities in Turkey. The data were attained from The Council of Higher Education Web Site. 88 state and 26 private universities, a total of 114 nursing department were determined. 114 nursing schools (consist of 70 health high school, 31 Faculty of Health Sciences and 4 Faculty of Nursing)’ educational curricula had been obtained from web site. Accordingly, 34.3% of the nursing department had the courses related to arts and 28.6% of them related to sports was observed. In the courses related to the arts, music 24%, painting 18.3%, creative drama, theater, cinema 14.1%, fine arts 12.7%, folk dances 9.9%, dance, rhythm 5.6%, photography 5.6%, crafts, decorations 4.2%, ceramics 2.8%, elocution 2.8% and one quarter of art courses were taught in the first grade. In the courses related to the sports, physical education lesson 28.6%, chess 1% and 24.8% of them were taught in the first grade.</p><p><strong>Conclusion: </strong>The assay was found that one-third of nursing schools had the courses related to arts and sports. The courses related to arts and sports should take place in nursing education curricula because of the nursing profession consists of science and arts and fatigue is the most common illness in this stressful job.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Özet</strong></p><p><strong>Amaç:</strong> Bu çalışma; bireyin, ailenin, toplumun sağlığını korumak ve geliştirmek, hastalık halinde iyileştirme amacına yönelik hizmetlerin; planlanması, örgütlenmesi, uygulanması, değerlendirilmesinden sorumlu, bilim ve sanattan oluşan hemşirelik mesleğinin eğitiminde sanat ve sporla ilgili derslerin varlığı ve çeşitliğini saptamak üzere gerçekleştirildi.<br /> <strong>Yöntem:</strong> Tanımlayıcı tipte planlanan çalışma Mart 2014 tarihinde gerçekleştirildi. Yükseköğretim Kurumu internet sayfasından Ülkemizde bulunan 179 üniversiteden, 114 hemşirelik bölümünün 105’inin öğretim planına ulaşıldı. Hemşirelik bölümü öğretim programlarında sanat ve sporla ilgili dersler ve çeşitliliği değerlendirildi. Veriler SPSS paket programında kodlanarak, sayı, yüzde ve Ki- kare analizleri ile değerlendirildi. <br /> <strong>Bulgular:</strong> Yükseköğretim Kurumu internet sayfasından ülkemizde 108’i devlet, 71’i özel/ vakıf üniversitesi olmak üzere 179 üniversite olduğu görüldü. Üniversiteler içerisinde 88’i devlet, 26’sı özel/vakıf olmak üzere toplamda 114 hemşirelik bölümü olduğu ve bazı üniversitelerde birden fazla hemşirelik bölümü bulunduğu saptandı. 114 hemşirelik bölümünün internet ortamında 105 (70 Sağlık Yüksekokulu, 31 Sağlık Bilimleri Fakültesi, 4 Hemşirelik Fakültesi)’inin öğretim programına ulaşıldı. Buna göre hemşirelik bölümlerinin sadece % 34.3’ ünde sanatla; % 28.6 ’sında sporla ilgili dersin olduğu görüldü. Sanatla ilgili derslerin % 24.0 müzik, % 18.3 resim, % 14.1 yaratıcı drama, tiyatro, sinema, % 12.7 güzel sanatlar, % 9.9 halk oyunları, % 5.6 dans, ritim, % 5.6 fotoğrafçılık, % 4.2 el sanatları, süsleme, % 2.8 seramik, % 2.8 diksiyon olduğu ve bu derslerin % 75.0 oranında birinci sınıfta yer aldığı belirlendi. Sporla ilgili dersler % 28.6 beden eğitimi % 1.0 satranç olduğu ve bu derslerin % 24.8 oranında birinci sınıfta yer aldığı belirlendi.<br /> <strong>Sonuç: </strong>Ülkemizdeki hemşirelik bölümlerinin yaklaşık olarak üçte birinde sanat ve sporla ilgili dersin olduğu saptandı. Bilim ve sanattan oluşan bir meslek olması ve tükenmişliğin sık yaşandığı stresli bir meslek olması nedeniyle hemşirelik mesleğinin eğitiminde sanat ve sporla ilgili derslerin yer alması önerilir.</p>
