Abstract:
The function of Green Intellectual Capital (GIC) in promoting social and environmental sustainability in the manufacturing industry is investigated in this study. GIC, which is made up of Green Relational Capital (GRC), Green Structural Capital (GSC), and Green Human Capital (GHC), is a strategic tool that helps businesses adopt sustainable practices. To give a thorough grasp of how GIC supports sustainability, the study combines the Resource-Based View (RBV) and Stakeholder Theory. Wisconsin card-sorting tasks provide unique opportunities to study cognitive flexibility and its limitations, which express themselves behaviorally as perseverative errors (PE). PE refer to those behavioral errors on Wisconsin card-sorting tasks that are committed when cognitive rules are maintained even though recently received outcomes demand to switch to other rules (i.e., cognitive perseveration). We explored error-suppression effects (ESE) across three Wisconsin card-sorting studies. ESE refer to the phenomenon that PE are reduced on repetitive trials compared to non-repetitive trials. We

Contrastive phraseological studies have evolved in the last decade thanks to the increase of research works in this field and their find-ings. Despite this new interest, contrastive studies in the language combination English-German-Spanish still have room for im-provement and new research, especially taking into account the phraseologisms in general and collocations in particular for strate-gic sourcing. This essay aims to solve this need by analyzing the utilization of English-German-Spanish phraseological units using as a corpus made up of surveys. This research follows the theory of the cl

The traditional Supply Chain Management Theory has been around for few decades. In addition, between 1994 and 2000, another theory by the name of the ‘Global Commodity Chain’ (GCC) theory was developed by Gary Gereffi from North Carolina University (USA) which is more broader than the Supply Chain Management Theory. The aim of this paper is to revisit and critically examine Gereffi’s (1994) GCC theory and attempt to expand its analytical framework from the perspective of a small island country in the Pacific. Nozick's theory of inalienable rights has provided the theoretical foundation for neo-liberalism, a major ideological paradigm that gained ascendancy in Western societies since the 1970s. However, this ideology has led to structural violence and harm, which has led to a re-evaluation of its assumptions and tenets. Rawls' political philosophy of welfare liberalism provides an alternative framework that prioritizes the well-being of all members of society regardless of socio-economic status. The last few decades have seen the emergence of global consumer culture (GCC) as an important force in the marketplace. Yet, in recent years, powerful political and economic forces suggest that globalization might be stalling, leading to renewed interest in local consumer culture (LCC). This article provides an overview of where the field of international marketing stands on GCC and LCC, and it presents new empirical insights. It elaborates on the roots of GCC and LCC in consumer culture theory, cultural globalization theory, and acculturation theory. This background information sets the conte

In Europe's culinary scene, a new Food Pairing Theory is all the rage among top chefs, particularly those with an experimental inclination. The main hypothesis of this theory is quite straightforward: the more characteristic aroma compounds that two foods have in common, the better they taste together. The hypothesis is based on the fact that 80 percent of food's flavor is determined by how our nose picks up volatile aromatic compounds. Although the elegance and simplicity of Food Pairing Theory makes it convincing, in this article it is shown that it is as scientifically unsound as it is popu
