Abstract:
Introduction. Global crises and sanctions pressure on the Russian economy slow down its growth rates, which especially affects export-oriented regions. The reaction of the Russian authorities in the form of financial and organizational measures to support the structural transformation of the economy requires the identification of key areas of structural policy that require scientific justification. The first stage of their development, according to the author's position, should be the study of existing scientific research in this area. Systematization of the publication space makes it possible

This paper examines how the intertwined ideologies of emotion and discrimination shape and sustain social oppression in The Fifth Season, the first book of N. K. Jemisin’s The Broken Earth Trilogy. The novel narratively constructs the experiences of marginalized individuals, the Orogenes, depicting their subjugation and emotional oppression while exploring how societal emotions function as mechanisms of discrimination and exclusion. To analyze this process, this study employs Sara Ahmed’s The Cultural Politics of Emotionas a theoretical framework, focusing on how emotions such as hatred and fe

We discuss two extremal problems in extremal graph theory. First we establish a precise characterisation of 4-uniform hypergraphs with minimum codegree close to n/2 which contain a Hamilton 2-cycle. As a corollary we determine the exact Dirac threshold for Hamilton 2-cycles in 4-uniform hypergraphs, and we provide a polynomial-time algorithm which answers the corresponding decision problem for 4-graphs with minimum degree close to n/2. In contrast we also show that the corresponding decision problem for tight Hamilton cycles in dense k-graphs is NP-complete. Furthermore we study the following

Abstract:
In rotor blades and other structural components, many factors can lead to structural damping. It is important to consider its effect on the dynamic behavior of beams. The work presented herein goes through a detailed literature review on the models and techniques used by past researchers to include damping. The authors use a state-of-the-art dimensional reduction technique known as the Variational Asymptotic Method (VAM). VAM works by splitting the 3-D beam analysis into 2-D cross-sectional and 1-D beam analyses, yielding asymptotically exact expressions for the variables of the original 3-D p

An airfield pavement structure is designed to support aircraft live loads for a specified pavement design life. Computer codes are available to assist the engineer in designing an airfield pavement structure. Pavement structural design is generally a function of five criteria: the pavement structural configuration, materials, the applied loading, ambient conditions, and how pavement failure is defined. The two typical types of pavement structures, rigid and flexible, provide load support in fundamentally different ways and develop different stress distributions at the pavement – base interface
