The process of psychotherapy of psychosomatic disorders requires key intervention skills from the psychotherapist. The transition through the five steps of therapy occurs against the background of the three integration stages in the communication on the axis “client-therapist” and respectively “therapist-client”. It is possible for the process of going through the five steps to be repeated for each of the three integration stages, and it is also permissible for it to go smoothly in parallel with the client reaching “separation” from the therapeutic environment. This study aimed to analyze the effect of massage on mental mechanisms by using electroencephalography (EEG) before, during, and after massage. The patient was placed in a supine position and received a massage from both an expert physical therapist, with 20 years experiences, and a person with no experience in therapeutic massage. EEG was recorded before, during, and after the massage. The portion of the body given the massage was only the left-side plantar arch, and the massage method was finger pressure applied by the thumb. "Multiculturalism and growing diversity found within client populations encourages therapists to become pluralists in their work. Pluralism is the position, identified by Kenneth Pargament, that therapists take when the cultural story of both the client and therapist are acknowledged to be present in the session. These cultural stories provide the foundation for creative meaning making in the therapeutic process. Patients with hemiparesis often have limited functionality in the left or right hand. The standard therapeutic approach requires the patient to attempt to make use of the weak hand even though it is not functionally capable, which can result in feelings of frustration. Furthermore, hemiparetic patients also face challenges in completing many bimanual tasks, for example walker manipulation, that are critical to patients’ independence and quality of life. Dementia and psychosis can arise from a trauma in patients’ life history. Behavioral difficulties of the afflicted individual can lead to bad memories triggered by an event or an encounter. Attempts to bring such patients back to reality can destroy their awareness of the self and the world. A narrative therapeutic approach can help them reconstruct their life story and enhance their sense of wellbeing. With dementia, it is necessary to open the book of the afflicted individual’s life at the right page in order to help them get back to reading it in the present. With psychosis, stories must be
