We have long heard the terms sustainable future and renewable energy coming from many directions. But many people think of them as challenges for the future. However, robots, self-driving cars and smart houses around us also prove that the future is only a matter of hours. With artificial intelligence developing at a rapid pace, we need to find a safe way to cover our energy hunger. Currently, we can almost find fossil fuels or electrically powered vehicles on the roads. However, non-renewable energy sources are already being replaced by renewables day by day. However, renewable energy generat

Key infrastructure areas such as transport, energy, water and telecoms are vital to society and the economy. Evidence suggests that climate change is increasing the frequency and severity of extreme weather events, posing a risk to infrastructure systems. This POSTnote looks at the main climate-related risks to the UK's economic infrastructure, measures to reduce these risks and the main challenges to implementing resilience measures.

Abstract:
This Policy Note analyzes the link between subnational infrastructure and internal migration across regions. Using a composite infrastructure development index, it finds that infrastructure development has a positive influence on migration. However, it contends that migration is a phenomenon that reflects population response to changes in the economic characteristics of geographic areas. As such, this Note recommends minimizing inequities, improving infrastructure to attract investment and jobs, and managing congestion in informal settlements as more sustainable options. Finally, it highlights

In this study, the analysis of quantity and quality indicators in the road and rail transport sector shows that the Philippines continues to suffer from inadequate and poor quality road and rail transport infrastructure. In most metrics of comparison with ASEAN neighbors, the Philippines is also behind in improving the quantity and quality of its road and rail transport infrastructure. The assessment of targets and achievements in the Philippine Development Plan, the Public Investment Program, and the expenditure program reveals that many of the targets were unmet.
