The provision of a sustainable energy supply is one of the most important issues facing humanity at the current time, given the strong dependence of social and economic prosperity on the availability of affordable energy and the growing environmental concerns about its production. Power generation with steam as the working fluid has been proven technology in many developed countries around the world. The advantages in using this technology include its ability to use a wide range of fuel and using the cheapest material (water) as a working fluid. One of the challenging issues in a solar thermal power plant, from the control point of view, is to maintain the thermal process variables close to their desired levels. In contrast to a conventional power plant where fuel is used as the manipulated variable, in a solar thermal power plant, solar radiation cannot be manipulated and in fact it ironically acts as a disturbance due to its change on a daily and seasonal basis. The first part of this study is to employ the scanning element microscope (SEM) to investigate the possibility of failure at broken section from the view of micro-structural. In addition, in order to obtain practical dynamic situations, measurements of the strain of strainers was performed. The finite element program ANSYS then was employed to obtain analytical results, according to the data obtained from water f

Now it is also the biggest one of the world for single thermal power plant. TC thermal power plant was set up on July 18 1989, for almost 20 years till now. The building process of this thermal power plant, going through dredging sand to reclaim new land, building infrastructure, installing power engineering facilities, test running, to operating commercially formally, was a tremendously hard one. However, opposition to construction of power plants due to local residents’ environmental concerns is on the rise, causing a major barrier to the implementation of power development programs. To help solve the problem, the government has been accelerating the pace of power industry deregulation. However, faced with various problems involving plant sitting, environmental assessment, and

When a loss-of-coolant accident (LOCA) occurs, the pressure inside the containment rises rapidly. The peak value of the pressure could undermine the containment integrity, causing containment shielding leakage and release of the radioactive material into the atmosphere. During a LOCA, the reactor core cladding zirconium reacts with water to produce a large amount of hydrogen gas, which is released into the containment. The accumulation of h
