Abstract:
This article proposes a calculation method of frozen soil temperature field in the base of the buildings with ventilated basement and with using thermostabilizers. The results of calculation indicate that finned thermostabilizers provide the necessary decrease in temperature (up to 3…4°C) during the first year of their exploitation (for the longest buildings in plan). The application of unfinned thermostabilizers (even though their coefficient of the heat exchange with air is substantially lower than for finned one) provides a sufficieny cooling effect (up to 1…2°C) for faint saline sandy grou

Thermostabilizer-synergistic mixtures with double salts of T-product for PVX were developed and their synergism efficiency phenomena were studied using DTA and TGA methods. The mixtures of thermostabilizers synergics of mixed salts of the product – T for PVCh were worked out by the methods of DTA and TGA and the effect of synergism was studied. This study aims to develop thermostabilizer-synergistic mixtures with double salts of T-product for polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and to investigate their synergistic efficiency using Differential Thermal Analysis (DTA) and Thermogravimetric Analysis (TGA) m

The thermo- and light-stabilizing activity of glycidyloxycarbonyl- and glycidyloxymethylsubstituted derivatives of the sulphur-containing rosin in the compositions on the basis of plasticized polyvinyl chloride were studied. It found that the proposed epoxy-derivative adducts of rosin possess thermal stability allowing them to withstand the processing temperature of polyvinyl chloride compositions. The developments showed that the proposed stabilizers can protect the polymer matrix against light radiation. It revealed that the film samples prepared with the help of the proposed stabilizers sho

2-hydroxy-3-(methylcyclohexenyl-isopropyl)-5-methylbenzylaminoethylnonylimidazolines were synthesized by the interaction of 2-(methylcyclohexynylisopropyl-4-methylphenols and aminoethylnonylimidazoline. Aminocompounds are purified from cycloalkylphenol by transferring them to hydrochloride salt. Further, aqueous solution of the hydrochloric acid amine salt is treated with a concentrated solution of NH4OH and free aminecompounds are isolated. The resulting amine is separated from water by benzene extraction. After benzene distillation, the residue is undergone to distillation under vacuum. Its

Abstract:
Wheat flour dough is a classic soft material comprised of a hierarchy of weakly bonded structures imparting macroscopic properties that strongly depend on how the properties are evaluated. Additional softness arises from the bubbles within the dough. The structure and the dynamics of doughs and other bakery foams are affected by bubble nucleation and growth. A critical bubble volume fraction determines a transition from bubbly liquid to foam, which must be surpassed to attain desired qualities in the baked (thermostabilized) products, particularly the appearance and mechanical properties assoc

Abstract:
Tissue-engineered cartilage using a hydrogel scaffold is capable of achieving native compressive properties and glycosaminglycan (GAG) content [1]; however, promoting collagen growth towards native values has been challenging. As the cells in the cartilage constructs deposit matrix over time in culture, transport of nutrients to the construct center becomes increasingly hindered [2]. Digestion of mature tissue engineered constructs with chondroitinase (chABC) temporarily suppresses the GAG content, allowing an increase in the collagen content and eventually improving the mechanical properties
