Full textGerman interest for modern Greece, grounded in a sense of cultural affinity with ancient Greeks, is linked to a wider European context and in particular to Franco-German relations. The instrumentalisation of the reference to ancient Greece for political and identitary purposes lies at the root of the philhellenic movement which culminated during the Greek War of Independence and further developed during the formation of the Greek state and of its national ideology. Three cases account for the different modalities of Franco-German philhellenism and for the articulation of its aesthetic, scientific and political manifestations. Karl Benedikt Hase, a prominent Hellenist and cultural mediator between France and Germany, associated regular help to Greece to cultural philhellenism evinced in his lectures at the Ecole des Langues Orientales and in his participation in collective scientific projects meant to foster Hellenic studies and the education of the Greek people. The collections of Neo-Greek popular songs, among which that of Claude Fauriel played a founding role, contributed to the formation of a discourse on the regeneration of Greece and to the emergence of Neo-Hellenic and folkloric studies. Last but not least, Friedrich Thiersch served the Greek cause with his articles published in collaboration with J. -G. Eynard and J. F. Cotta, his books that were translated or written directly in French, and his neohumanistic pedagogical action. Through their discourses and philhellenic actions, men of letters projected on Greece ideals that touched their own countries, keeping alive the hope of a renewal of the European civilisation

Full textWhen Adolphe Thiers (1797 – 1877) finished his fifty years in politics, he had been President of the Third Republic. He led France during a short but dramatic period, from February 1871 to May 24th 1873. Thiers was also a well known historian and he created his own State papers which are here wholly studied. The purpose of this thesis is first to demonstrate how he exercised power as President, then to go into his relationship with public opinion by examining the petitions he archived. The first part is a portrait of this intellectual political man of State. As chief of State, Thiers meets three main politics. This is the second part. First of all there was the fight against Paris' upheaval, then the German army withdrawal, at last he denounces free trade tariff. The third part's axis deals with all days practice : his relationship with local authorities, army and diplomatic corps. With the last part begins the study of public opinion and political action. These petitions increased his conservative republican politics. Despite his resignation, the petitions still went on

Abstract: ln May 1993 we began a project using Ramain-Thiers Sociopsychomotricity in three institutions which care for low socio-economic level children in boarding and semi-open boarding situations in Campo Grande, Mato Grosso do Sul, Brazil. In each institution, the project was developed in groups of six children chosen to undergo therapy and six children chosen to be a control group. The two groups were composed of children aged seven to nine years old. By the and of the project we had worked with forty six children. All of the children involved in the project were initially evaluated by the fallowing tests: Coloured Progressives Matrices-Raven lnfantile (intelligence), House, Tree, Person and Family-HTPF (personality), A Visual Motor Gestalt Test-Bender Test (perception, vision, motor and emotional maturity) as well as reading and writing exams. One year later, the children were reevaluated with the same instruments. The objective of this work was to verify the possibilities of the development and reconstruction of lnfantile ldentity of these children through a group therapy that would involve corporal proposals and diflerentiated psychomotricity work with an analytical reading that would favor the recapturing of different stages of psychosexual development according to Freud. The analyses of the results, comparing the beginning and the end of the experiment and the groups of experiment and control, demonstrated in both groups, that there was progress in intellectual, motor and cognitive development. In the HTPF test and the evaluation of emocional maturity in Bender test, however, we perceived considerable differences in the emotional development of the experimental group compared to control group, which on the contrary, had an interior performance compared to the preceding year. Because this is a therapy based on sociopsychomotricity and corporal proposals, besides quantitative data in the final analysis, it was possible to obtain important data from the qualitative point of view in the appreciation of drawings, especially those of the human figure and family. This work, besides analyzing a series of variables and factors related to the development of Infantile Identity, can principally in light of HTPF and Bender evaluation. demonstrate how necessary and urgent it is to develop psychotherapies adapted to populations of lowest socio-economic leveI chidren and to the institutions which aid them and which traditionally offer them only space, food and instruction

Full textThis critical essay comes after a more particular study ( for the D. E. A. Degree). Of one consican novel, Una spasimata, by R. Coti. It deals with 6 books issued in the last 60 years : Pesciu anguilla (S. Dalzeto, 1930) - Fillidatu e filimonda (S. Dalzeo, 1963) - Pece cruda (A. Trojani, 1982) - U cimiteriu di l'elefanti (M. Poli, 1982) - The spasimata (R. Coti, 1985) - A funtana d'altea (J. Thiers, 1990). A general survey of the several stories is followed by a specific study of each novel. By "corsican novel", i mean : a novel written by a corsican, on corsica, in the corsican language. The use of the corsican language, the adherence to the corsican land and the corsican culture, make both its diversity and unity, the key-words in literature, in linguistics, as well as in the reality and the mental representation of this little world, remembered and recreated with nostalgy; a compensation and vindication for the frustrations experienced by the corsican people. More than a thesis submitted for a degree, this essay is meant as propaganda on behalf of the corsican novel, which does exist and ought to prosper, if only more readers are able and willing to give it its due

Full textThe Justice of the peace, the ancestor of our current justice of proximity was established by the law of August 16 and 24, 1790 which focused on the judicial organization. This law puts the Justice of the peace at the lowest grade of the hierarchy and gives him competences in civil and penal cases. The civil aspect on which this work is based offers peculiarities: the justice of the peace is both a conciliator and a judge equally in charge of extra judiciary cases. Constituents based their expectances on this magistrate who in order to bring closer the justice to those subject to trial, practices his missions in a restricted area (district), a judge of equity, and whose main mission is conciliation. The law makes obligatory a prior procedure of conciliation. Throughout the example of the Puy-de-Dôme and particularly districts of Clermont-Ferrand, Thiers and Augerolles, we can raisethe following question: did the Justice of the peace answered to the constituents expectances for whom conciliation had to avoid long and expensive judiciary procedures.A deepened research on the revolutionary justices of the peace will enable us to draw lessons from the past and have a better approach of conciliation and proximity conceptsso valued nowadays
