With the aim to model the surface growth of Ti-Ag system over realistic time scales, two interatomic potential mixing rules for the Ti-Ag system were first investigated based on the embedded-atom method (EAM) elemental potentials. First principles calculations were performed using SIESTA for various configurations of the Ti-Ag system to see which model best fitted the ab initio results. In our experiment, we keep the period numbers and each Nb layer thickness are 10 and 200 angstron respectively. We vary Al layer thickness from 0 to 400 angstron, therefore each sample has their total thickness larger than 2000 angstron to avoid size effect. We measure the two direction upper critical field versus temperature, one direction is parallel to film and the other one is perpendicular to film. The study describes the analysis of d-glucose solutionby a Zinc Oxide (ZnO) thin film biosensor. The ZnO thin film sensor was developed by the RF sputtering method over a glass substrate. Two adjacent electrodes were used to measure the impedances of the various concentrations of d-glucose. A in-house developed contiuous monitoring system was also used to study the impedances of the same and it was also tested for its continuous monitoring capability of the impedances of the d-glucose concentrations.
