Zur Bestimmung der toxizitätsrelevanten Thiolreaktivität wurde ein Chemoassay mit dem Modellnukleophil 4-Nitrothiophenol (NBT) entwickelt. Es wurden die Reaktionsgeschwindigkeitskonstanten kNBT für insgesamt 145 Verbindungen aus verschiedenen Stoffklassen bestimmt. Ein Modell zur Berücksichtigung der Flüchtigkeit der Elektrophile bei der Berechnung von kNBT wurde entwickelt.
